  1. Absolutely! The mid 60’s players are still the most accomplished Bills Teams by virtue of winning 2 AFL titles back to back, although the Suoer Bowl era Kelly Teams had the best Bills players so far. It was a different era for sure but I see no need to caveat them for their time. The AFL paved the way for the NFL to grow and provided opportunity for many excellent players, particularly African American players, many of which were not given equal opportunities. Those Bills teams were loaded with great players, fine men, and quite a few characters too. Harry was great and one of the many that stayed in Buffalo and made positive impacts to the community for many years after he played. RIP Harry Jacobs I’m betting he did it for free.
  2. Feel good Promo. We won. We had 4 OL positions with different players in them, including 2 starters out of the game. We played a strong defense. That accounted for most of the penalties and sacks. Our defense was fine. We aren’t going to stop every drive, that is not realistic The Pats* have vulnerabilities too. Worry next week if they are not healthier and better.
  3. Good win, the game was tougher than the score indicates Allen had a strong game considering the pass blocking was mostly below average. Singletary gets a game ball. So does Gabe Davis. We need Dawkins back. I felt bad for Brown getting tossed into LT on 2 days notice. Pats* will be tougher for sure. I expect Daboll to do more next week to diversify the offense and help the pass protection by use of TE on edge and RB in backfield. BB is watching. Overall, a much needed win under tough circumstances.
  4. We cannot win the division next week. We can take the lead with 2 games left. We still have to win games after that.
  5. Brown, Feliciano, Morse, Ford, Williams ahem.
  6. With the state of our OL right now this would be a great week for Special Teams to make a few big plays. On, and maybe we can get some sacks and turnovers. It can’t be all Allen all the time.
  7. LOL. Dawkins is OUT … the root cause of this entire discussion is what if Dawkins is out.
  8. I agree. I assume they hold on to him simply because he knows the offense ???
  9. I just heard that Feliciano is on the Covid list. This is getting tenuous. It probably means that Bates stays at backup C/G. It changes my preference to: Brown, Boettger, Morse, Ford, Williams Like many, I hate all the movement. I think Doyle might get forced into the line up given this new information.
  10. This is a great chart to explain why we drafted him. Unfortunately, it has no bearing on his play in the NFL as of yet. He looked like a project in camp and in pre-season. McDermott has been reluctant to use him but won’t risk losing him on the PS. On the other hand I remember when we drafted Howard “The House” Ballard in something like round 12. He was a project, had a rough start, and then developed into a monster RT. Maybe Doyle will develop similarly but it probably won’t happen in one game. I’ll trust McD and his staff and hope for the best. The OL remains the key to the season.
  11. It’s not. It even skips a generation. I did not care for him whispering his thoughts and babbling right up to the snap.
  12. I voted Brown because he is the best player available. Brown, Feliciano, Morse, Ford, Williams - I don’t like it, but this is what Beane brought to the party. It’s the line we started the season with, but with our rookie swing tackle in for Dawkins at LT. The regression in the play of the entire right side has been our biggest problem.
  13. I didn’t like him. He sounded like the color man from the Dodge Ball movie.
  14. Does your mother know you are using the computer past 9:00 pm?
  15. Bills FG not looking so smart now.
  16. Well good night BB. I guess the Pats* run D sucks, looks just ours did on 1 play. Bills MUST WIN tomorrow.
  17. Absolutely. No pressure on the rookie. Too much respect.
  18. Anyone else thinking of McKelvin. Lol
  19. Jones has outplayed Wentz for sure.
  20. It’s about possessions. The Colts burned 4mins
  21. Would love to see the Colts run the clock. BB would be in questioned for that decision. Need Wentz to come up with 14 yards.
  22. Yep what is a FG going to do? Is BB “coaching scared” as many here say about McD? still a two score game, with or without the FG.
