  1. Allen throws into the wind better than anyone in the league. The Pats* threw three passes in our stadium all game, would they qualify as more impacted by wind than us? We need establish a run game to keep the oponent honest, then we can pass. We will be fine at home. I want as many home games as we can get, it is a big advantage preparation wise, plus the crowd in Buffalo can help lot.
  2. ... only if they beat the Jets and Cincy losses. Lets play the games first.
  3. I love the idea of a rebuilding part of downtown, south of HSBC, including into South Buffalo to accommodate a multi-purpose Dome, include plenty of Parking and tailgating, a few more hotels, restaurants, and shops. This would include a plan to manage traffic in and out. I cant see it happening because of cost, time, and politics but it would really enhance the city IMO. I have seen some interesting plans for the Buffalo Skyway, both for and against taking it down. This could be a factor in a downtown stadium and probably swing the votes toward staying in OP.
  4. "nomenclature"? thanks for the good laugh.
  5. Well we ran better against Carolina too. Not sure how you can tell how much change we have made in the the OL blocking calls without inside information unless you study video of every play and track it all season? The last two games we are breaking more runs, there is more push, we have less backs getting hit behind the line. That is what I see.
  6. We never worried about weather in the Kelly/Marv era. We actually welcomed bad weather. It just shows how much the game has changed, and how differently the two Bills teams are built. The "If its too tough for them its just right for us" mentality is gone. Daboll better have a run game, with a run package, in the game plan. Not only for this week but for next week as well. We need to have a more diverse attack and not depend on Allen passes and Allen runs for 90 % of our yards.
  7. I want the AFCE Title. Anything less is a step back. We need to be ready to play hard and take it.
  8. No denying that the OL has opened more holes for the running game since Bates stepped in. Keep playing him if he is healthy to go.
  9. So look at these games in bad weather and tell us how the opposing QB did? If the weather is so bad that it limits the passing game then the Bills need to run, stop the run, and win the ST part of the game. Just like any other championship caliber team would have to do. It is up to Beane and McD to build that team, not Josh. Josh had his worst passing game (statistically) yesterday, yet he was the primary reason they won.
  10. Two were tipped. The third was illegal contact on Beasley, Josh put the ball in the right spot.
  11. He was throwing well, the tipped INTs are more about him making the correct assessment, not his throwing. He was throwing lasers, several were dropped that would have been big. The great thing about Allen, he was more than happy and willing to beat them with his running.
  12. Yes, they ran the ball against Atlanta. They needed to win a game like that. Allen has proven he can pass in bad weather and run in it. We still need to develop the offense more for the plays when Allen hands off. Get better guards and a second TE that blocks like a son of B word and has good hands. Add a big, fast NFL running back. Beane should put more emphasis on this, it will make our offense much more diverse. It would open things up for Allen if they have to bring a safety up instead of 2 deep most of the time. We need this part of the game no matter what kind of stadium you have.
  13. And I’ll be honest, facing Belichick a 3rd time is not something I want. Sure, we are home and we are better but when you play the Pats* you also play the officials, especially in the playoffs - no team gets more help from officials than the Pats*.
  14. Every coach keeps a backup center. Some teams have the luxury of two backup players that can play center. The Bills do if Feliciano is active. When Feliciano is starting at guard, or out on injury/Covid that leaves Bates as the backup to Morse.
  15. No doubt our run game and red zone would be better with him on the team. Sweeney as a #2 was not as effective as Smith as a #3.
  16. Barkley was a Panther and that didn’t help them to much.
  17. They, the media, created the Kool Aid.
  18. I understand. He is not the guy that makes you regret doubling Diggs. So far no one is. After Diggs - Sanders, Davis, Beasley, McKenzie is a pretty solid and deep group. 4 solid guys competing for 2 jobs is a good thing. Toss in Kumerow and Stevenson, and WR is not a concern right now.
  19. Continue to rotate them all and play the ones that are getting open. I think you over reacting to Sanders. He is a player in decline but he made a few plays this season and is still capable.
  20. No mention of Poyer and Hyde, two of the biggest leaders on defense. Also Morse and Feliciano on offense. The Bills are getting to the point we’re the mid-aged vets need to take the resigns and become the leaders (Allen, Dawkins, Tre, Edmunds, Milano). That seems to be happening.
  21. Not a TE. We was a WR.
  22. With Tre’ injury a CB is possible but I suspect the best OL available will be strongly considered.
  23. We really have nothing at TE after Knox. Nothing. Beane needs to address this position.
  24. Every Bills game hosted in Toronto should be stricken from the record books. None of that ever seemed real to me.
  25. We really don’t have much history with the Atlanta Falcons. I do remember this one local player with ties to both teams and so I had to look him up again. Back in 1973 we drafted a Buffalo native, Jeff Yeates ( Cardinal O’ Hara HS), in the 4th round (103 overall) from Boston College. He was a backup DT for about 3 years and then waived in 1976. In Atlanta we became a very solid DE and started for them for about 6 or 7 years. As for the game, I expect Buffalo to come out like gang busters and handle this team as they should. But they can’t let up, Ryan is still solid and the NFL is a tough league.
