Provide you(r) own Hot Take Monday [edit]

Just look at how deep our DBs were playing on the 25 yard pass to Kelce on the play before their tying FG. Clearly, McD and Frazier were defending a Hail Mary long play instead of defending the crucial yards to a FG. It was one of the few plays that Mahomes didn’t have to scramble. Kelce was untouched at the line, and all alone to our 40. SOFT defense. What were the coaches thinking??? -
Although I think McDermott errored on the kickoff and in the defensive strategy at the end, I agree with your sentiments.
-
Agree on the kickoff. I think they were looking for a Hail Mary on second down with 8 seconds left. Kelsey gets an uncontested 25 yards and their kicker hits from 49. Terrible defensive is strategy.

Biggest game of the McBeane era. As usual, I am nervous about the game. Looking forward to the game. I think we need to jump on them and play with a lead, avoid turnovers and penalties, and just go after KC. Play to win every phase. Try to overwhelm them. Hard to do on the road, but there is no holding back today. Go Bills!

Specific to Ralph. I think they won the game that day. He was just being mean. -

Tennessee didn’t do that. The crappy owner, Bud Adams, did. His family still has controlling interest of the Titans. Remember Adams giving The Bills the finger after a game in Nashville? That’s was after Ralph was inducted into the HOF. Something Adams never achieved. -
A perfect photo of how much the Bills mean to the fans.

Very touching thread. This Bills team is very deep into the fabric of its community. They are a special group. -
Uh, no. The very first NE SB winning team was loaded with mid priced free agents. Not a lot of big names but he singed lots of veterans to that team.
-
No he isn't. You want the #3 guard to be pushing the starters, if they get hurt or play poorly you want no drop off with #3 in there. Ike's run blocking is terrible. He is not athletic at all. For a #4 you want a guy that can also center and be versatile. Ike is not that either but Feliciano is. Ike can and should be upgraded and I would like to see the Bills find a stud OG in the next draft.

So you just don't get what leadership is? Lets of good comments here that should help you. Today's player mostly do not respond to grab the facemask types, or to the blamers, etc. That was for another era when players made less than $20,000 and sold insurance in the off season.

You might work in contracts and/or be a lawyer.

Ok. So the dummies that wanted to fire McD are proven wrong … again. Hey Mods, can this thread be shut down?

Lee Smith actually did a fine job. The mistake was not having anyone decent to replace Smith in that role for most of this season. Tommy Sweeney is not the answer at TE#2. Doyle is a much better run blocker and he is athletic enough to catch a short pass. It’s a good role for him and it gives the offense another dimension.

He really is an azz

It’s past midnight. Still kinda shocked. Taking in the perfection I just witnessed. It couldn’t have come against a more deserving team than the Pats*. I think we got Bill good tonight.
