  1. It’s the run game that needs the most improvement though.
  2. I guess it depends on what you call glaring. WR, OG, RT, MLB, SS, and RB all need upgrades to the starters. CB, OL, TE, WR and DL all need better depth.
  3. What? Great data even though you skipped Fletcher, after him the cupboard was bare until Edmonds. Jacobs, Haslett, Nelson, Conlan, Fletcher and Edmonds were all very good.
  4. Mixing eras is always tricky. Fletcher in his prime was a more impactful player. However he could not play LB in the Bills defense today as well as Edmunds. Edmunds will be gone. Beane will spend either cap room or draft capital that should otherwise go to WR/OL to try to replace him. Most likely whoever we get will fall short of replacing him if we play the same defense. The Bills have many question marks going into the next seasons. More than they have had in several years.
  5. They could get a starting G in rounds 1 or 2, something they passed on in the last few years. I think we’re going with Brown at RT another year, but we should draft his replacement as well. Two of the top 4 picks should be allocated to OL. Plus some Free Agent dollars.
  6. No. We would not have won a superbowl last year if not for 13 seconds, we would have played a home AFC championship game against a team that kicked our ass this year. We are third best in the AFC right now and Miami is right on our heels in the division. We are closer to 5th best in the AFC than to first. We have a coaching staff that has not been able to take this team any farther. We are weak in the trenches.
  7. I didn’t care for her performance. Not my cup of tea but I prefer they show modern pop stars over the past years when they hired older Classic Rock stars of the past that can’t play/sing like I remembered them. The halftime show is overblown and it interrupts the flow of the game.
  8. I just don’t think that was holding. The contact was at and behind the line of scrimmage. The pass was not catchable. The flag denied Philly a chance to come back and ruined an otherwise entertaining game.
  9. The sentences in bold that start your post say it all for me. It is as if you asked me, and wrote what I am feeling. No surprise a couple of vets from the mid 60's would think the same on some things.
  10. The Bills DBs played way too far off of the line. Burrow can hit an open receiver on the run in 2.6 seconds on average. Why did we play them so loosely? Are the Bills that worried about the deep passes?
  11. Kielce has a problem with the Cincinnati mayor? Is he drunk already?
  12. Congress is going to act? That’s would be a first.
  13. Dumb penalty. But is was one. KC seems to get the brakes.
  14. I could see a year of regression and still making the playoffs. It could take 2 smart drafts to retool.
  15. I had 6 holes, not 6 new starters - and my list is not the same as yours, we do not need a DT for example. Our RT played injured all year, and he missed most of the off season workouts. They can fix a few position in the draft, I admit they have challenges with the cap but they are not as bad talent wise as many “fans” say. Every team still in the playoffs right now has a weak spot or two. Or is an injury away from a big drop off. Your assessment on our defense is hilarious. Beane and McDermott building a defense to beat average teams. Yes, that was their plan. Great insight. That defense did great for most of the season despite a decimated backfield. The6 can fire the coordinators I won’t care either. Go pick another team if this is too much for you.
  16. Even with the holes are not that far away. I have confidence because McDermott and Beane are actually good at their jobs. You don’t string together the wins they have without being good. If they replace their coordinators so be it. They can address the holes this off-season and it will be a challenge. If it take two seasons then so be it. You can’t blow this up with Josh Allen in his prime. Just retool and keep trying. You are panicking like this is the 1970, or 1984, or 2001 Bills.
  17. Huge over reaction. Take a breath. We need help on the OL which I stated many times over the past 3 years. We can use Legit #2 WR. The DL needs some help too. Von will be back, that’s a start. I listed 6 positions that need help, DB included. Rebuild not needed, just a re-tool. We don’t have cap space or premium draft picks so they have to smart with who they bring in, and coach up the rest. We were 14-4, they played one bad game, they were mentally spent. Turn down the panic.
  18. I really don't see a lot of holes, but I see it will be difficult to upgrade as much as needed. RB - If Singletary leaves we have Cook, can probably find someone in the draft around 4-5 and in free agency WR - Top 3 spot, next year Shakir should be better and maybe Davis matures more as a full time starter C/G - Top 3 pick needed, probably gonna look at F/A as well CB - Elam and Benford both showed promise, Tre will be back so will Taron and Dane S - Poyer gone, Hyde may be back, Hamlin probably gone - Top 3 pick here LB - Edmunds will likely be tagged. DL - bring back the crew plow Von all season
  19. Who is he and why does anyone care?
  20. You answered your own question (see bold). Josh was happy that Dorsey got the job, and he said it numerous times. Working with Dorsey is comfortable for him. Maybe he needs to get out of that comfort zone to get better and continue learning? Dorsey probably cannot teach him and help him any more than he has already. In general, I think the entire offense was predictable and regressed under Dorsey.
  21. We can retool with Josh still in his prime but we cannot do a tear down and rebuild. That would be too drastic. They are 14-4, they need some tweaking to get back on track. Beane has to do his best work to improve this team given the limited cap space and the draft position.
  22. Josh is in a comfort zone with Dorsey and as a result he is regressing. Stats say the offense is top 2,3 4, in almost every category. But you watch the games, especially the past month, and it looks like a very predictable offense that relies on Josh to be Superman and make a lot of big plays every game. This is something Allen just cannot maintain. Burrow hit the high percentage passes to mostly wide open targets. He had time to throw accurately and provide the WR with a chance for YAC. Josh was hurried and harassed so just getting a catchable ball out there was a challenge. I don't understand all the deep passes on 3rd and short? Does Josh not check down on purpose or is this Dorsey? It is not the way he played last year. I think Josh has regressed in his game management and his decisions making, I have to look to Dorsey as the problem. I would like to see Dorsey go. The mediocre OL makes everything harder, it starts there.
