Very sad- both having heartattacks within an hour of each other. Just terrible. I had a buddy in Buffalo who had his dad pass and his mom pass a month later. She could not go in without her husband. A month is really bad, but an hour is unfathomable. .

Conventional wisdom and others that don't know all the details (around injuries etc) will take this at face value. The recent series history, current standings, game location etc and then, yes, it would appear this will be a lopsided win for the Pats. A closer look on this one - the Pats are banged up and missing key players. We have injuries too, but are generally healthier than we have been all year. We've gelled since the last meeting when the systems were still being learned. History is not relevant. This is not the same lesser squad with a sub par coaching like years past. Rex has beaten the Pats with the same type of team (perhaps even less talented) and is not intimidated. It will be a very good game and we may come out on top. The masses will be shocked, but we should not be. I'll be shocked if it is a blow out for the Pats.

I think our chances are as good as they have been in a long time. I think the Pats are probably pretty wary of this one. More so than a lot of people would think. I don't expect a win, but I won't completely rule out any shot at winning like I would with some of our other less talented teams of recent years. If we win, I'll be pleasantly surprised, but not shocked. Then, I'll celebrate with a few cold ones.

Not too long ago, I was more concerned about Dallas and Philly, but now, I'm more worried about KC and Washington. KC, will be a big test. That is a tough place to play and they seem to be on the rise.

We will get people that pick us with the spread. Someone will be bold enough to pick us straight up. The only guy that did last week was Sanders and they were merciless in ribbing him for it and he ended up looking wise.

I'd bet he is not done. He'll turn up coaching D line in the NFL next year or at DC for a mid tier D 1 college program.

Jets will be a better game with some implications (hopefully). We should beat Dallas as they will likely just be waiting to get done with season. Going to that would just be for the novelty of seeing Dallas in Buffalo.

Orton was very capable. I'd take him in back-up role this year.

It just occurred to me how silly I must look throughout watching a Bills game. All emotions are present. Fear, relief, sadness, elation, inebriation (at times). Hopefully nobody ever films it.

We will likely lose to Pats, but all the rest are winnable. Philly looks like another potential loss. Nice thing is that we can lose that and still be in. Yesterday gave us a cushion.

Agreed- I keep wavering back and forth. One minute, I picture that the D will show up and Fitz will play like the Fitz we know and our offense with Taylor will roll and we will kill them. then, I picture a meltdown with a million penalties, an offense that keeps going 3 and out with Rex losing it.

Eichel is the real deal- a star in the making. Both games will be on at the Northstar tonight in San Francisco. Here's to two big victories.

He'll get two. One for roughing passer. One will extend a drive and give them at least 3 pts. But he'll get a crucial sack and alaso a hurry resulting in a pick.

Let them focus on Watkins and hopefully, Roman will build a plan around Clay and Woods. Clay has been pretty quiet- he is due. If we shut down Marshall, we go a long way toward neutralizing Fitz.

Have a bad feeling here. Hope I'm wrong because this game likely decides the season as far as playoffs or not, but I sense a game with lots of penalties- more on us and crucial ones. We won't overcome that and it'll be Jets 27-Bills 20. I can already picture a somber Rex fielding the questions after. If Fitz reverts or is hurt or Geno comes in for any reason, erase the above and we win by a minimum of 10.

That spike killed me. I had Chargers in knockout tonight and I just had a bad feeling that would mean the game somehow. I was right.

I think Fitz has a bad game Thursday. I like guy and will Always root for him, though not as much this year and certainly not Thursday. He is due for a real clunker.

I'd take Fitz in a backup roll right now. But if he is the QB you always wanted, why has he been let go by so many teams? Typical NY media bluster

I've seen poor tackling and penalties cited by quite a few people here and I'll echo it. If that was a better team today, we might not overcome that.

He is also a leader in the locker room. I heard that he got up this week and gave a speech that fired everyone up. That's the type of thing that Kapaernick never did, for example. He would sit in the corner with headphones on speaking to no one. Taylor has the team willing to follow him. It's a great quality.

Moorman was our most valuable player for a stretch. A very dismal dark stretch of time.
