  1. Man- I hope they don't read this board. They may decide to up and head to Hamilton.
  2. Great- I think one day, the Pegulas will be viewed up there with the influential guys like Craft and Jones. I'm curious as to which camp they backed in the whole Carson vs. Inglewood fight.
  3. Id say they are optimistic on us. I do feel we are 100% a playoff calibre team, though. We were last year but 1+1 somehow equaled -1
  4. This guy is a lazy hack that probably gets bum steers in every town he goes to. Going to Niagara Falls was probably a huge deal since he probably never leaves his hotel other than to go to the stadium when he is in town. It sounds like he either doesn't do any research or is likely too stupid to recognize a place like Big Ditch or Blue Monk as he walks by counting the ratio of Taco Bells in Buffalo vs Philly. 20 years from now he may stumble into Canalside by accident (though he may think he is in Toronto) and we will get treated to an article about how Philly's outdoor rinks are icier than Buffalo's because Philly will always win to homers like this.
  5. Great news- this is one guy I wanted locked in.
  6. I'd like to stay at the new Harborcenter Marriott- the full service one. My buddy stayed there and said it was great.
  7. Could be doughnuts since it is cops.
  8. Arrowhead was rebuilt for roughly 300 million and RWS stadium could have a similar remodel. They already put 120 million into RWS so it's already part way there. Arrowhead and RWS are similar, I see this as a very realistic option.
  9. No kidding- that would be a steal by San Francisco standards. That would be 20 million easily in San Francisco if not more. Then again, San Francisco is completely overpriced and silly in terms of the real estate market
  10. an interesting takeaway is that it really appears that Goodell is in a weakened position. Sounds like he was on the verge of being replaced during the Ray Rice scandal.
  11. Yes- that was a very interesting article on the ESPN site about this today. I was going to post about it and you beat me to it. Reading through, you can only wonder what the Pegula's thought about the process since it was so decisive and contentious and broke people into factions. Being so new, they must have wondered exactly what they go themselves into. I wonder where they aligned on this since the influential owners like Jones, Richardson and Kraft were not all together on their choices. I know that Ralph was usually one to abstain from things like this.
  12. NFL films immortalized the league by putting epic plays in slow motion to Drunken Sailor
  13. Spanos just announced it. He wants to work out a stadium deal with San Diego. I figured this would happen .
  14. If he has great year next year it will be north of 100 million. Probably 7 years with 25 million signing and 60 million guaranteed. The rest heavily performance based over the later years. It will still be huge if he has a decent year but not quite as good as last year.
  15. The NFL will never allow a team inVegas. Davis should monitor the Chargers situation and move there if the Chargers go to LA. San Diego is a good market that deserves a team no matter what. Though, it would be odd for San Diego fans to suddenly be a fan of a former division rival. It would be like Bills fan suddenly rooting for the Jets
  16. I think most of America would Ike to see Peyton win and leave the game on top. I would like it, but think it may be a game like Seahawks-Broncos of a few years ago. If the Broncos make it a game, it will be because of their D.
  17. As long as the Pegulas own the team, they will go nowhere - new stadium or not. I do feel a new stadium will be built eventually. We don't need a 2 billion dollar stadium like LA and it wouldn't cost $2 billion to build a stadium in Buffalo no matter anyway. Land is not at a premium like in LA. The fact of the matter is that the NFL is set up so that all teams should be successful financially no matter what the market size. The league needs teams in places like Buffalo, Green Bay, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Cleveland even if the owners don't make as much in those markets as they do in the large markets. If that's an issue then just eliminate all of the smaller markets with their smaller bottom lines yet loyal fan bases and make it a league in the only wealthy big markets and see how well that goes over.
  18. Playoff team via AFC East champ. Stadium talk will be heavy with downtown near Cobblestone and Harborcenter being favored
  19. Not worth it. I'd rather have Kaepernick with his dedication and work ethic if you are going to bring in a back up.
  20. The NFL will never go back to St. Louis after losing both Cardinals and Rams. Rams never should have left LA anyway.
  21. I think there was a made for TV movie about the Bills in the early 2000's. It was on TNT or something like that. It revolved around the team getting food poisoning and using replacement players or some nonsense and it was not very good Just looked it up- here is the synopsis: Second String is a direct-to-TV film from 2002 about the Buffalo Bills football team who find its first string (led by real-life Bills quarterback Doug Flutie, who had left the team by the time the film was released) out for a month after a food poisoning incident, leading the team's head coach, "Chuck Dichter" (portrayed by Jon Voight), to hire an insurance salesman named Dan Heller (played by Gil Bellows) as the team's backup quarterback.[1] Teri Polo also appeared as Heller's wife; Flutie, Mike Ditka, Chris Berman, Van Miller, Bills cornerback Donovan Greer and Ken "Pinto Ron" Johnson appear as themselves. The film originally aired on TNT.
  22. Right after Burficts hit Hughes jumped in my head. Same attitude same sill behavior costing yards and wins.
  23. Oh man- when they talked of Hunter Kelly's death I had to stop watching. Couldn't watch. Then I turned it back on again til it got to Norwod's interview. Had to stop there too. Not sure when I can restart watching.
  24. With the level of drunkenness that is seen at bills games these days, I feel like some sort of property damage would be inevitable. When was the last time fan storm the field any NFL game?
  25. Agreed- I think it is amusing that he gets paid for that junk.
