FIFA Woman's World Cup...USWNT looking to 3 Peat!
Virgil replied to Big Turk's topic in Off the Wall
I’m sorry, but that was some of the worst soccer I’ve ever seen. Bunching, errand kicks, poor zoning. That was just plain ugly. I saw better soccer in the friendlies played this past week -
Herbert deal signed : 262M - 5 yrs extension

Interesting if true. Joe has been vocal about not expecting to break the bank because he wants to keep the core offense together. If he does go “far north” of Justin, I don’t see how they can keep Chase and Higgins. They just paid Brown and some defensive guys. I know the cap can always be manipulated, but there are limits. -
Giants sign LT Andrew Thomas to 5-yr 117.5 extension.

That is a huge chunk of change. With all the roster rework they are doing, I'm sure it will feel like a bargain in 2-3 years when they have to start paying other positions. Just crazy how much some of these guys are making now, but it's not my team or money. Agreed about Barkley though. I would be peeved -
3 of the 4 teams are legit playoff contenders. The AFC East and AFC North are stacked. If the Broncos figure it out, so is the AFC West. There is no overhype. The Jaguars are have a gift playing in the south and the NFC has 2 contenders with a bunch of hopefuls

Anyone catch what the running back depth chart looks like and if we ran some heavy formations? -

This is stupid. How is this man supposed to feed his family? Also, 1.5 mil less guaranteed than Lamar got -
Byrd was the exact analogy I was going to use! Shhhhhh! Don’t talk about spending money on the defense. You’ll stir the locals 😋

I read that title way too fast. Also, doesn’t he have issues in coverage? Yes, he gets interceptions, but wasn’t he one of the most burnt DBs statistically?

Josh Allen "Elite Player Item" with Madden '24 Pre-order

This. They release a card just for people who preorder this edition. However, it’s similar to the base card and obsolete very quickly. -
Hunter Renfrow a possible camp casualty

Maybe he never fully recovered from his injury? He was a shell of himself this past season -
How has @Gugnynot been nominated for smoothest legs yet?

If so many backs didn’t fall of a cliff around 27, this wouldn’t be an issue. Most of these guys are up for a contract around 26. Would you pay someone for 5 years knowing you might only get 2-3 good years out of them? Why do they burn out? Age and playing in the NFL. So I do feel for them, because it’s league who makes them break down in their late 20’s To me, the fix would be, all Rookie RBs get 3 year rookie deals, regardless of when drafted.

Is that really the only resale option in England? Is there any type of Craig’slist?

Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)

Sadly, I think that’s the gameplan. Hope Allen plays out of his mind every week -

That's sadly accurate. Besides AJ Brown, have they had anyone else start there that left and performed at a higher level? -

His rookie year, while not a traditional slot, that where he saw the most success. Now, was that a Daboll thing, maybe. -

That's a decent sized contract, but something I still think Beane should have made happen. DHop showed enough in his return from suspension that he still requires defenses to pay attention to him. He was easily the best WR available this offseason and his impact on the Bills would most likely be more than any other player we drafted or signed. If we are truly in our win-now, Super Bowl window, this is the move you need to make to keep up with the rest of the AFC. Are we a bad team without him? No. Are we still contenders without him? Yes. But that's not the point. The point is what is that move that gets us to the next level? I'm sorry, but drafting Kincaid, another Edge, and extending Oliver is not anywhere near on the same level of impact as getting Dhop. Upgrading our offensive line was a good start, but DHop would have made use much scarier on offense. Let Davis go back to the slot. Oh well
