  1. What's pathetic is, I was at the home opener in 2010 and completely forgot. That loss against the Dolphins was the most painful, boring game I've ever been to
  2. For what is the 3rd weakest schedule, they made sure we played the harder teams on the road. And 2 West Coast games back to back? And it's been over 3 years now since we've had a home opener. Yeah, this schedule sucks. And no, I don't think even the Bills players want that many home games in December. And if you have season tickets and the Bills fall apart in the second half, as they have for the past decade, good luck selling your tickets. Just a bad schedule for the players and the fans
  3. Anyone else getting annoyed with the fact that we still aren't opening at home? Isn't this the 4th straight year? There is no reason for every team to not play at home at least every other year
  4. Usually around this time, I'm anxious as hell about the draft and offseason moves. However, for the first time in a long time, the FO has made all the right moves and I trust their judgment. So much so, that even if they draft someone that I don't agree with, I'm just going to shut up and have faith that they are making the best choice for the team. Everyone keeps talking about the needs for the 1st and 2nd round. For me, I have faith in them getting a WR, LB, or OT in the 4th-7th rounds. Not saying they should wait, but I trust their evaluation of talent. Look at Stevie, Hairston, and the other late round picks. The only thing that I think would bother me would be if they traded up, just because I believe in their ability to get quality in all of their picks. It's been a while, but it feels nice for a change.
  5. This is going to be tough for me to say. And, if you look at any of my previous posts, you'll see that I am as big a Kelsay basher as they come. When he signed that extension, I nearly lost it. However, down the stretch last year, Kelsay was one of the best defensive players we had on the field. I'm swallowing a huge bitter pill saying this, but it's true. I actually am on board for the Bills keeping him to see what he does on that line. When playing his natural position, with those guys to take up coverage, I'm hoping to see Kelsay perform in a way that validates the FO faith in him. And one thing I think everyone can agree on. People don't like Kelsay because he gets paid well and we feel we don't see the performance. Clearly his teammates and the FO love him, so it's not personal. We, as fans, just want to see on the field. I think we might this year
  6. anyone with insider care to share? talks about who he thinks the bills will take and said you could write it down in red pen. Inferred it was a DE.
  7. You sure? I'm trying to find the link. I'm not saying you are wrong and I hope I am
  8. Nix actually said tonight that they are done
  9. I have to agree with the OP on this. I get the huge Marii signing. And I also have faith in the FO to know who is worth what. But you are telling me there aren't any mid-tier FA's for depth? Volek just got released. There is still some depth O-lineman out there. I mean, I'm not talking about cap space because I know we have wood, levitre, and Byrd to re-sign. I'm just surprised that there were only two people in thus while class that they think could have helped.
  10. Saw an opinion of all this that Mario is waiting to see where Peyton goes as those teams also have money. That maybe he wants to see who else might enter the bidding, especially the Titans. In all fairness, I kind of believe this. Where else really has the money right now for him and what's the rush? We've waited on him hand and foot for three days.
  11. To me, it has nothing to do with signing Meachem or Mario. It has to do with what it represents if they both walk. We gave these guys the full court press, offered Mario more money than anyone in history, and Meachem didn't even make it through the night. I think that Meachem got overpaid, but maybe not as many teams had offers in to him and believed he is more than his stats in a pass happy Saints. However, failing to get these two will show that there really isn't anything we can do to bring difference makers to Buffalo. Before, we could at least cry and say that Ralph is cheap. Now what?
  12. I think Mincey went the loyal route and stayed with the team that gave him a chance and the Jags got scared when they saw the price for Mario go up. Either way, this just gets worse for us
  13. Manning is a completely different situation. I don't think you can compare them at all
  14. Link? Nevermind. I just saw it on Rotoworld. This is going to get ugly
  15. Same plan as our plan B for DE. Say we tried, and I agree that they did, and hope for a good draft.
  16. Going into today, I had no idea RM was even a blip on the Bills radar. However, knowing how much they put into signing him, this is a huge problem. To lose out on him amongst this presentation to a team who probably just texted a deal to him goes to show just how pathetic this team is to other players. If we lose out on Mario, and I believe we might, then tomorrow would be one of the darkest days in franchise history.
  17. http://espn.go.com/blog/afcwest/post/_/id/41137/chargers-add-robert-meachem Great job. Had the head coach and others with him, and still lost him to a team that didn't meet him. sign of things to come...
  18. Two things: 1 - If Mario leaves without signing, it's over. Buffalo isn't going to let him use our offer for leverage and he clearly thinks there is something better for him out there than top money. And yes, this would be the largest smack in the face to this organization in a long time. 2 - DDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!
  19. Not worth that much. Rivers is a good enough QB to make him 200 yards and 2-3 TD's a year better than he is. That's too much for him and happy we didn't even find out. Plus, if Meachem really is a 1st rounder with 4.4 speed at 6'2", then we are getting a steal for him. Well, depending on how much
  20. I have to give props to the Bills FO. If they offer Super Mario the most money as a D player and he walks, then I don't put that on the FO. I am honestly happy with the effort. It's much more than I thought about Clabo last year. And with Meachem, I'm not huge with knowledge on the guy, but the treatment they are giving him....impressed. And the fact that they got these guys to come here first, especially considering the market for them and how under the radar it was. Wow Seriously, they sign these guys, who are both first rounders that we would be getting in their prime, and I'm a happy camper. In fact, it takes all the pressure off the draft for me. They get quality guys, we are set. We don't need an instant impact DE anymore. We don't need a WR, as Meachem is an absolute burner with good size. We can go OT, trade back, whatever, and I'll be happy. Overall, it feels good today to be a Bills fan.
  21. Does that change the Bills opinion of trading up? I'm not really a RG3 guy, but I know a lot you are. If those two get their QB's pre-draft, then I have to think that the Rams leverage goes way down. As far as I could tell, the Dolphins would really be the only team left with interest. We only pick two spots behind them. Personally, I think the Skins and Phins will win those two guys and the Browns will get RG3. But if the original scenario works out, does that change anyone's opinion to trade up?
  22. I don't claim to know the true different between the Salary Cap and the Cash to Cap. I know you can manipulate the cap to spend more, but don't know how much more. However, I know the Bills have a ton of money they could work to make splashes. With that, and this will never, NEVER, happen, but... Do they have the money to throw 20mil at Peyton, 9 at VJax, and 18 at Mario Williams? I know this is ridiculous, but if imagine if they did. Would we not become an immediate contender? Yes, we'd have to make the Dwan Edwards, Fitz cuts. But I think it's fiscally possible. And the fact that it could be financially made possible, doesn't it rub you the wrong way a little bit that we know our FO wouldn't even consider it? I laugh at teams like the Skins, Cowboys, Eagles, Jets, and Raiders who make big splashes every year, only to have it blow up in their faces. But how often to you see a FA class like this? If Peyton checks out as healthy, and I get the impression he is, what would you have to lose? Not making a deep playoff run with Peyton, Freddie, SJ, and VJax would be an absolute failure. Then, with Mario next to Kyle and Dareus? WOW! While it seems financially irresponsible and unlikely, I'm almost mad that I feel that way as if the FO has beaten that mentality out of me. Just thinking, nothing more
  23. I have a 4S and just jailbroke it because I have the .Ipa of a an app that I want to install. It's an app that no longer exists in the appstore, or I would have just bought it. I finally decided to jailbreak the thing, as I was told this would be the only way, and I still can't figure it out. Is there anyone out there who has done this before. I have Cydia, which also is completely confusing to me. Any help is greatly supported.
  24. I'm seeing all of these posts about "What would you trade up for him" or "Give this Draft Away for RG3". I know he won the heisman and won their bowl game, but other than that, when did he become the second coming? Is this because Cam Newton actually worked out? (At least for this season that is). I have no bad feelings towards the kid. I actually have no feelings about him at all. I'm just curious to know what people are seeing in him to merit these kinds of conversations. Is he that accurate and smart to be able to read NFL defenses and hit receivers in stride? Is he that durable for when he scrambles, and yes he will, that he can take a hit and survive? In the past, more QB's don't make than do and that discrepency gets bigger when you talk about scrambling college QB's. My concern is that, in a Vick/Newton world, people forget about all the busts and now are looking for that unique talent every year. And to be clear, I'd give the draft away and probably next years too for Luck. The dude can do everything and while prospects are always a bet, he looks to be the safest bet.
  25. He's a free agent. We don't have to trade anything to get him. And he's cold weather groomed
