Richard Sherman:NFL-wide conspiracy against the Seahawks
Virgil replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
+1 Just thinks it's him vs the world and he's the smartest guy in the room. The more I hear him speak and see him play, he's just an !@#$ -
Is Chad Kelly not Jim Kelly incarnate?
Virgil replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel bad for the kid. Without a bowl game, senior game, and combine, I think he's a 4th rounder at best. With EJ being gone in the offseason, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills take a flyer on him and see him, maybe stash him on the practice squad. I don't think he's shown anywhere near enough to merit a higher pick -

Is he allowed to say it Tuesday when we are 4-5? -

Let me go ahead and dust this off for the week... !@#$ Dareus -
My referencing the Pats is more about how we don't get the ability to luck our way into the playoffs. Think of the teams that have made it in because their division is terrible. You take the dynasty Pats out of our division and I bet that we stumble our way in at least once over the past fee decades. I'm not saying I want it to be this way. I WANT to ride into the playoffs on a car made of Brady's bones and tears. Yes, that's kinda the point I forgot to mention the people attacking others peoples posts as a annual tradition about this time of year too. Thanks for the reminder.

I had plans to write a mid season review. Try the unbias, post game approach and break it all down by position, good and bad. On Tuesday, I saw two things that bothered me. One was the tweet showing how many times we've been 4-4 in our playoff drought. It also showed how many times we were 5-3, 3-5, etc. Then I saw the Gilmore, Dareus, TT threads attacking or defending them. I kept waiting to find the energy or desire to write my little recap and I've now realized that I just don't care. We aren't going to the playoffs this year and I think I've reached the point where I just can't enjoy the ride of the whole season. I love watching the games and enjoying a win. The losses have me numb and are almost expected. I'm tired of debating who is playoff good enough and who is worth the money because in the end, we always end up wrong because none of them are good enough within this franchise. There's always the excuse or the what if. Fact is, we doomed ourselves with our 0-2 start and 1-3 division start. I'm not going to call out why. Everyone has their opinion. But regardless, it's another season where I have absolutely no hope for the playoffs before November started. And worse yet, I expect more of the same next year. Agree with their reasoning or not, but Rex and TT will be back next year unless they finish with 9 or more losses and show the players quitting on Rex. He will get 3 years. TT will be kept because he is the best option. I hope he does turn things around as his accuracy is bothering me too. And year 3 would be enough time to know what we got. But overall, nothing in this franchise is changing for me this year or next. And probably not until Brady is gone. Our curse is Brady, plain and simple. Take him out and our futility isn't close to the 15+ years. It only takes a year in a bad division (which ours had had plenty) and a quick hot streak to be in the AFC championship game. The Jets proved that twice. Either way, I'm going to enjoy my games this season as football is too short and I love it too much. But the playoff watch? The FireRex? I just don't know how to convince myself to care. Midseason reviewed.

11-3: Media Day & Locker Room Interviews
Virgil replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was hard to come off as unbiased with that moniker. I still think he's responsible for our record, especially the 0-2, AND our lack of roster depth because he went all defense, but I'm waiting for the season to end. -

WEEK 8 - ALL 22 OLINE/ QB UNFORCED ERROR REVIEW
Virgil replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also, how many drops did you count? I counted 4 in the first half, but stats keep saying he only has 7 against him the whole season. I don't see how or know what they count as drops but that seems very wrong -
WEEK 8 - ALL 22 OLINE/ QB UNFORCED ERROR REVIEW

These are awesome and I really look forward to them. One question, on first and goal on the first series, I thought I saw a wide open Reggie Bush running in he flat, TT missed him and scrambled to the opposite side of the field. Are you able to confirm that. It really pissed me off. -
I don't know why I find this to be depressing, but I do

Someone just tweeted that he's the 90th rated DB in the league right now on the season.

I'm saying he was a back-up for years and it didn't mean anything when he became a starter. Aaron Rodgers is a Hall of Famer. It goes both ways -
Was always one of the more underrated WR's in the NFL. I think of him as an Eric Moulds, if his career had lasted.

Not saying he's either of them. But if you guys had your way, they would never have become themselves either. He's in the middle of his second starting year and producing similar numbers, if not better. Let the guy develop already Are you really counting his years on the bench? It's his second year starting. -

The 1st and 3rd are TT. Bledsoe is the only one over 4K yards. His other seasons were below 3k. End of the day, people want to preach continuity and whatnot, but he is still equal if not better than Big Ben and Brady in their first two years. I just don't get why people don't understand this. The people at the bottom, that's your EJ. Let the man finish the year. This whole topic is ridiculous at this point. -

Okay, here you go. Below are the first two seasons of Tom Brady, Big Ben, EJ, JP, Bledsoe, and TT. For this year, I doubled his stats since we are at the halfway mark. I sorted by QB rating for no real reason. I did not include rushing yards or rushing TD's. Pick your top 3 QB's Comp% Yards TD INT Rating 63.7 3035 20 6 99.4 62.7 2385 17 9 98.6 58.7 2960 18 4 87.2 63.9 2843 18 12 86.5 61.5 4359 24 15 86 62.1 3764 28 14 85.7 62.5 3051 19 14 84.9 58 838 5 3 80.3 58.8 1972 11 9 77.7 56.9 2932 20 16 76.6 59.7 3513 18 23 75.4 58.2 2860 11 12 73 -

See, this is where you lose the argument. You can't even concede that would be completely different.
