Goodell is a toad. I don't particularly like the direction the league is going. A lot of his decision has little to do with honesty and integrity and more to do with sweeping crap under the carpet and saving face. His obsession with growing the league may do more damage than good. The growth in the European markets is about expansion and money in spite of competitive equity. I think it was Pat Kirwan a couple decades ago that wrote about the importance of "winning at home" with respect to making the playoffs. He had some glaring stats to back it up. And Goodell takes away a home game from a handful of teams every year. The gallant history from decades ago has faded. I couldn't imagine watching highlights from today's game narrated by the late John Facenda of NFL films from the 60s and 70s. Just wouldn't fit. Call me old, but that's how I feel.

During this ridiculous Sabres playoff drought, the one main thing that keeps my attention is watching the Bruins and Stars getting bounced. One down, one to go.

What's right with Goodell? He's a poster child for "deadpan."

Anyone see the Dolphin fan look disappointed at the pick and then started cheering when he realized the camera was on him?

The Good: The draft is almost over. The Bad: Mahomes and Kelce walking out with the Lombardi. I immediately switched the channel, threw up and then downed a quart of bourbon. My ex-wife did that. We divorced after 4 years. She felt guilty charging me for sex so she returned the money. Can't imagine what I'm gonna do with that 40 bucks.

They just put up a new one in South Tampa. They literally tore down the old one and put up a new one in the same spot. Same footprint.

I think the Publix subs are pretty darn good. And some of the new Publix going up have a bunch of take-out food options with indoor / outdoor seating cafes. Hot bar, salad bar, pizza bar, burrito bowls and a sushi bar with in-store Starbucks. Prices are a bit high. I guess that's true everywhere, but I can spend 150 bucks and barely fill the bottom of the cart.
