  1. Why did he pick certain players he's willing to back-up. It's a back-up position. You're on the bench or sidelines. I don't get it. The more I think of it, It's actually a little creepy.
  2. I've grown very weary of the "there's always next year" narrative. The way the team finished last year, this year could have been, and should have been "the year." Why not?! January proved they were good enough. Thompson grew from a great player to elite. Skinner's game was resurrected once back on the top line. Tuch's game is massively a pleasant surprise. Dahlin's defensive game improved. The middle line guys often stepped-up big time. A young team, yes. But they proved they could beat the top teams in the league. It has grown very old how Buffalo teams never fail to disappoint. Sorry, I'm in a bad mood. And, I think I'd like to stay that way for awhile.
  3. I'd like to see real villians..... Patriots: Dolphins:
  4. Offseason.
  5. But he has enormous worldly experience. He does seem a bit too old to be playing football.
  6. Agreed. I think it's Levi. I think part of his decision will be how good the team played in front of him, particularly in the first 2 periods. Defensively, that 1st period was a ting of beauty.
  7. Of course. But I can't control the reaction when I don't answer.
  8. I'd love to go back to pay phones. That way people can't treat me like I'm "on-call" 24/7.
  9. Nothing beyond the bees. That's where the short lived sadistic-side of my childhood ended. And no bees perished under my very questionable training techniques.
  10. When I was a very young lad, I told my friends I could train bees. I would catch them in a jar, cover it and let it sit in the sun. If I remember correctly, it was about 15-20 minutes. The bees would get exhausted from the eat or lack of oxygen. Not sure which. I would uncover the jar and let them crawl on to a flower. It would take some time before they had the strength to fly away. So, I would walk around and show my friends my trained bees. After a couple of times, I figured out about how long it would take to get their strength back, so I would instruct them to fly away. timing wasn't always good, but effective.
  11. It appears, all the coaches in the front row were given instructions; "hands on the knees,or folded in the middle" McDermott and McVay apparently weren't listening, or simply scoffed at the instructions.
  12. Yeah, right! And Col Jessup never ordered the "Code Red!"
  13. I had to look those up. I didn't know they made those wimpy safety darts. I was referring to the original, old-fashioned steel gladiator darts.
  14. Nor should you. If you did, you'd be taking away his cheat code. Let the man run. It not only fires himself up, but the team and fans as well. The threat alone probably opens up plays.
  15. Lawn Darts at night? Intriguing.
  16. You get a 1-year deal You get a 1-year deal You get a 1-year deal
  17. Jai Alai. It's a local craft beer in Florida.
