  1. I was too young to see The Exorcist when it came out in theaters. However, my mom and siblings went so I got to hear the tales of the horrors they witnessed. That was before pay-per-view so It would be years before I had a chance to see it. I while ago I was curious about what a phenomenon that movie was back then, so I looked up some articles, news stories and archived videos. It was crazy how after the first few showings, ambulances had to be placed at theaters. People were fainting, throwing up, running out of the theaters and there were a lot of people that needed medical attention. It was definitely a barrier-breaking type movie. Now that stuff is just old-hat.
  2. Cam's reaction if any of the teams he didn't mention come calling....
  3. Did anyone simply answer "yes" or "no" to the OP? I don't want to read through 192 pages and that's all I really want to know.
  4. But.....we lost 1 game by 17 points.
  5. Any stadium renderings in our future?
  6. Why did he pick certain players he's willing to back-up. It's a back-up position. You're on the bench or sidelines. I don't get it. The more I think of it, It's actually a little creepy.
  7. I've grown very weary of the "there's always next year" narrative. The way the team finished last year, this year could have been, and should have been "the year." Why not?! January proved they were good enough. Thompson grew from a great player to elite. Skinner's game was resurrected once back on the top line. Tuch's game is massively a pleasant surprise. Dahlin's defensive game improved. The middle line guys often stepped-up big time. A young team, yes. But they proved they could beat the top teams in the league. It has grown very old how Buffalo teams never fail to disappoint. Sorry, I'm in a bad mood. And, I think I'd like to stay that way for awhile.
  8. I'd like to see real villians..... Patriots: Dolphins:
  9. Offseason.
  10. But he has enormous worldly experience. He does seem a bit too old to be playing football.
  11. Agreed. I think it's Levi. I think part of his decision will be how good the team played in front of him, particularly in the first 2 periods. Defensively, that 1st period was a ting of beauty.
  12. Of course. But I can't control the reaction when I don't answer.
  13. I'd love to go back to pay phones. That way people can't treat me like I'm "on-call" 24/7.
  14. Nothing beyond the bees. That's where the short lived sadistic-side of my childhood ended. And no bees perished under my very questionable training techniques.
  15. When I was a very young lad, I told my friends I could train bees. I would catch them in a jar, cover it and let it sit in the sun. If I remember correctly, it was about 15-20 minutes. The bees would get exhausted from the eat or lack of oxygen. Not sure which. I would uncover the jar and let them crawl on to a flower. It would take some time before they had the strength to fly away. So, I would walk around and show my friends my trained bees. After a couple of times, I figured out about how long it would take to get their strength back, so I would instruct them to fly away. timing wasn't always good, but effective.
  16. It appears, all the coaches in the front row were given instructions; "hands on the knees,or folded in the middle" McDermott and McVay apparently weren't listening, or simply scoffed at the instructions.
  17. Yeah, right! And Col Jessup never ordered the "Code Red!"
