  1. Same can be said of the Chiefs, Ravens, and most of the top teams in the NFL. Just got to keep grinding.
  2. Beating the Chiefs is going to be an uphill climb. The NFL clearly wants an undefeated season for the Chiefs because it drives engagement and hate watching. I think it's pretty insane how lucky they've gotten this season.
  3. I'm pretty sure they would have brought him in by now if they thought he was a viable choice.
  4. This probably isn't the popular opinion but I think the Giants offense has overperformed given the level of talent they're working with. I don't know if I put all the Giants woes on Daboll. Joe Schoen has been a disaster for them, I don't think that's arguable.
  5. This is all well and good but I don't think it means that they executed well on Sunday, or that it couldn't be a lot better. I'm fine with the Bills wanting teams to run. They can still be better at stopping it without a philosophical change. Get a solid 1T DT to anchor the D-Line and I think you'll see the defense look more dominant. The initial gaps for Miami on Sunday were ridiculous.
  6. I highlighted the important part for you.
  7. Which is why philosophically it doesn't make sense to have a defensive head coach with an elite QB. It worked with Brady and the Patriots but that seems to be the exception, not the rule.
  8. This screams that the coach is about to be fired. Mingo isn't good (like by any metric) and Jones is floundering.
  9. Dallas. Jerry Jones requires a sacrifice.
  10. Fair point, but I was talking about the hold on the Allen rushing TD.
  11. It was one of the worst calls against the Bills this season, and that's saying something. I've watched the replay a few times and I do not see anything that looks like a callable hold.
  12. My kid came into the living room with a new LEGO set that distracted me from my doom-texting group, allowing my BP to drop to a more medically acceptable level.
  13. How do you not give the ball to Taylor on the 4th and 2? I know they’ve been tough on the run, but he’s your best player by far.
  14. Fair enough. Thanks for the insight.
  15. Parry wasn’t a particularly heralded NFL referee during his time if I remember correctly. I think it wasn’t worth a challenge but we have the tv angles available. It’s harder to tell in real time.
  16. That was a dominant big man play. Just devastating. I'm jealous.
  17. I was about to praise Darnold but then he threw that bad pick.
  18. Part of it is personnel, like safety,LB, and DT but a lot of it is coaching. McDermott's (and Babich, by extension) decision making is so ingrained in the school of "limit the explosive play" that I truly think he's often not putting his players in the best spots to succeed.
  19. Today highlights again the need for an anchor 1-tech DT. We were putrid on the inside run. I have no idea who is available but I wouldn't be surprised if that's the move they make.
  20. Absolutely nutty body control. It looks like a video game.
  21. Kudos to Beane for knowing when to drop dead weight. Poyer should have retired and it shows. He's one of the worst rated safeties in the NFL this season.
  22. It's so easy as a fan to take the humanity out of sports. Nice reminder that they're people too. Powerful stuff.
  23. I feel like we won this game in spite of McDermott and his worst urges. The defense never seemed to get out of that "prevent, soft zone, let them get 7 yards a play" scheme that McD loves so much. He and Babich had zero answers and it didn't seem like they tried to find one. I'll wait for the film breakdowns from smarter people than me though. Allen willed that win and Bass came in clutch. Good on the Bills to make it work. If Coleman is out and Cooper isn't healthy we are in for a bad time.
