  1. I think we'd be less impressed if he wasn't throwing against Baylon Spector, Elam, Cam Lewis and Ingram. That being said, there's a lot of potential there.
  2. I don't know how you can watch the end of that game and think anything other than "The refs are trying to keep this game close". It was egregious. I'm not an NFL conspiracy theorist but I mean come on. Who had money on that game and badly needed the Pats TD? lol.
  3. I thought they did pretty damn well. Ben Johnson isn't someone to sleep on, he shows a ton of creativity and had the Bills chasing their tails more than a few times. Brady has been great as well, but Ben Johnson is definitely the number 1 name for any coaching vacancy next season.
  4. I mean... Allen is on fire. What else is there to say? The offense is borderline unstoppable right now, it feels like we are ripping off chunk plays almost as consistently as we are getting 5-7 yard plays. I'm not going to pretend everything is perfect. Watching McDermott run a defense with a lead against a good team is probably the most stressed I've been all season but This is really, really fun. Go Bills, keep scoring and everything else will come together.
  5. I guess the legacy angle makes sense, but that certainly wouldn't be my decision in his shoes.
  6. There's no way it could be anyone else but him after that TD.
  7. Geeze, she already had cancer, hasn't she suffered enough?
  8. Hamlin's been a (mostly) mistake free "replacement level" player. You can do a lot worse so kudos to him, but he's just physically limited. We're seeing his ceiling right now. Good head on him, but not a viable long term starter. Bring in Eric Wood you cowards!
  9. Belichick is living his best life right now with his 20 year old girlfriend and joking around with the Manning brothers or being goofy on some football podcast. Why in the world would he want to coach again?
  10. Poyer should be retired. He's a liability on the field and trying to supplement his loss of speed with cheap hits. Hyde has more in the tank. Having him on the PS to help mentor Bishop and the other safeties is worth the PS spot.
  11. There's no way that's a live ball.
  12. It's incredible how much Watson held them back.
  13. Goes to show you how McD's scheme really lets physically limited DBs be their best. Wallace looked like a PS guy that play. He hasn't really done anything since leaving Buffalo.
  14. Case and point right here. Great video illustrating a distinct pattern of bad decision making. Not every hit to a sliding QB is intentional. This one was.
  15. Nix isn't throwing great, but he's doing well enough to let his playmakers make plays. They look like a wildcard team, decent future ahead but a likely first round exit.
  16. He's a dirty player with a reputation for bad hits and poor decision making. We don't need to make it more complicated than it is. He clearly had enough time to not lay him out, he chose to give him a concussion. He knew what he was doing. It's pretty absurd to argue otherwise.
  17. Sometimes you take the things you got for granted. 15/22 is a really rough statline.
  18. Cheers, I'm right there with you. After the Texans game I said I never wanted to see Hollins on offense again. I think what I should have said was "I never want to see him thrust into that role again". As a roleplayer, Hollins has been about as good as you can ask for. 1000x what Sherfield and Harty were for us. If you're asking Hollins to do what he does best, which is block and occasionally catch a TD or first down, he seems like just the guy you want.
  19. I just listen to the morning show on my way home from work since I usually don't listen to WGR from 6-9. They put it up online in your normal podcast places and there's basically no ads (and you can fast forward through them). Joe and Jeremy are much better hosts than Schopp. They're so much better at actually talking about the Bills instead of fantasy or whatever contrarian take pops into Schopp's head. Bulldog is okay but he lets Schopp drive the show way too often, which means it goes into tangents about how interesting other teams are. He doesn't like Buffalo anymore and it shows. He was a good drought host, because everyone was a curmudgeon. He's a terrible Bills host now that they're winning.
  20. I was actually going to mention Oakland if the Raiders were still there since that's about as close to Mad Max as you can get in a stadium.
  21. It seems cartoonishly vile that anyone would go out of their way to push a child cancer survivor down the stairs. It sounds like a headline from the Onion. I'm skeptical. I'm skeptical this would happen at any NFL game, but extra skeptical since Bills fans had essentially nothing to be mad at the entire game. The 300s are the wild west but it's a lot more tame than it used to be in the drought days where you had to be hammered to enjoy the game.
  22. I have WGR on in the background of my office when I'm not on a call. I'm pretty sure it's a prerequisite for any caller between 10AM-3PM to be absolutely sloshed. There was a guy on the Extra point show who sounded so drunk that I thought he was gonna hurl live on the radio.
  23. I haven't seen the numbers, but is the NFL really catching on internationally? I get to work with people from around the world and none of them have ever casually brought up football in conversation.
  24. I'm not a mental health professional, but he seems to fit the narcissist profile to me. All success is because of him, all failure is someone else. His ego won't let him do any introspection, so as his physical attributes have gone downhill he can't compensate by playing more humbly. What a terrible face of a franchise. I hope the Jets sign him for another 10 years.
  25. It's by far the best part of Carr's game. Allen can do it decently as well, but it's not the focus. You combine that with defenses selling out on Kamara / Hill and then you get a bunch of deep shots. The Saints have been hitting deep shots all season, and not just to MVS. Teams play defense against Allen to stop the big/intermediate pass. It's just more of a focus than it is with Carr.
