  1. Imagine having so little going on in your life that you think playing a song in a stadium is embarrassing.
  2. We have the 1 seed if McDermott didn't let the Eagles, NE, and Denver walk down and score after Josh gives the go ahead TD. Blaming the QB when he's consistently the best player on the field is convenient and lazy.
  3. Poyer and Hyde were both budget guys who hadn't done much in their careers until they got to Buffalo. I have no doubt they'll figure it out.
  4. Besides the obvious issues with power dynamics, BB runs a very different defense.
  5. The Giants game. The Jets more so than anyone else, but you do have a point.
  6. Everything you just typed out was emotional, not rational. It's easy to put the blame on a single focus point but it's also lazy. I get it, I'm mad the Bills didn't win too, but it wasn't an easy throw or a guaranteed first down to Diggs. It's a throw across his body and the middle of the field. The pass is only underthrown because he's bumped by Dawkins, who couldn't hold his block, not really on Allen again. A first down doesn't mean they score and win either, you need to take a clear open end zone shot when it's there. I'm not going to put the blame on Allen because the game isn't a single series, and it's foolish to pretend otherwise. We shouldn't have been in that situation if we were playing "complementary football" like McD preaches. McDermott's defense couldn't slow the Chiefs and wasn't doing their 1/3. Expecting a perfect game from any QB is a joke. Allen had 4 beautiful rainbow passes that were straight up dropped by WRs. If Allen has to play a perfect game for the Bills to win then the Bills just aren't going to win. It's as simple as that. That doesn't mean he's the problem though.
  7. I know people are gonna joke here, but I don't want a DC in the division who knows Allen that well and can tell McDaniels about what he expects McDermott to do.
  8. Realisitcally? A 5th or 6th round pick. Maybe a 4th with a pick swap. He's shown less promise than Darnold.
  9. I'm gonna argue the opposite for a second. The proven great offensive minds are already head coaches (or on their way to being a HC). What is the floor with Allen at the helm of the offense? I'd argue we just saw it. 11-6. What I want is to get in at the ground floor for the next great mind. That could be Brady. It didn't work out in Carolina but I don't think it was destined to given how bad Matt Rhule was. I'm not going to ding him for working with talent, that's absurd. This is what you have to live with with a defensive HC, bottom line. Now if you want to say we shouldn't do that... Well I'm all ears.
  10. He deserves the shot, and he's been a much better play caller than Dorsey. Implementing his playbook could make the offense even more dangerous.
  11. Defensive head coach who consistently allows 8+ yards per play in the playoffs with his horrific "bend but don't break" scheme that only works against average to horrible QBs. Allen has never been the problem in the playoffs. I'd argue that he's never been the problem with the Bills ever. He's the whole reason this coaching staff still has a job.
  12. Strength of opponent is very conveniently being ignored here.
  13. He has the makings of a star slot receiver. We still need a 1A/B to push Diggs down to 1/B or 2.
  14. Ed Oliver + Daquan Jones (when healthy) had absurd stats at the beginning of the season. Ed Oliver just had an undisputable excellent season (after signing a big contract, so that's even better).
  15. As someone who has had to support very high level executives before... There is no way Terry is checking his own E-Mails.
  16. Washington has been failing up the entire time he's been here with the Bills as far as I'm concerned. I know he's well respected in the league but is this the production you expect from your D-Line with so much investment in it?
  17. Guy who had a better than average season wants to be paid better than average. More news at 11. What a non-story.
  18. That's all I can think when I hear someone saying any team should go "defensive heavy in the draft". Defenses in the NFL are at an inherent disadvantage with the way the modern NFL is structured. The game skews heavily towards the offense. You know what an amazing defense gets you? The Steelers. A wildcard entry to the playoffs and an early exit. The best way to win in the NFL is through relentless scoring via chunk plays and strikes. It's demoralizing and has a serious psychological effect on the other team, which I think is understated.
  19. R1 WR if there are any of the consensus R1 guys left on the board. R3 WR. R6 WR.
  20. Beane and McD are completely tied together. Beane, when drafting offense, has been much better than drafting defense. We should be moving into an aggressively offensive draft but I'm concerned McD is in his ear about pass rush and safeties.
  21. This may be Beane's best draft since Allen.
  22. I think this is why we saw so many screens and short yardage play designs. Dorsey's downfield stuff hardly made sense.
  23. Very much waiting for the "Stefon Diggs has had off season surgery" post. The dude was getting mangled by DBs all season with no repercussions from referees. It was honestly kind of crazy.
