  1. I like your list but Bernard is in my top 5. He's a huge difference maker who has gotten unlucky with injuries.
  2. I'm bias but I haven't had good sushi on the east coast at all. Good sushi in WNY is the equivalent to gas station sushi in Hawaii. Damn I miss poke bowls and fresh sashimi
  3. "Dodson told you Allen flops!" (I don't think it was a flop...)
  4. Geno Smith was crying. Seems like they played pretty hard.
  5. This is a take I never thought I'd see. Can you elaborate? Hollins is a fringe WR and Cooper has been excellent pretty much his entire career.
  6. I think the gameplan was just to throw a lot of quick hitters and Cooper really isn't going to be that guy for the Bills. I don't think today, which was one of the weirder games the Bills have played recently, is a good measure of what Cooper will end up being for the Bills.
  7. I loved watching the Jets implode today and the meme fallout from it is wonderful. Kittle has looked dominant tonight. The dude just balls out.
  8. Late to the party tonight but I wanted to throw some (probably not original) thoughts out there: - This game was just bizarre and probably should have been closer. All the flukey stuff was happening like bad snaps, QB trips, fumbles being kicked for forward progress, etc... but it all went in the Bills favor. Some serious luck there, but the Bills looked like the better team for the majority of the day. - Coleman is stacking good games right now. He's looking better and better each week and I'm impressed by it. Let's hope the trend continues, but right now he looks excellent for a 2nd round pick. - Shakir is that guy. Seriously. He's the piece Josh has been missing since Beasley left. Love his game. - Less RB impact than I expected. That being said, Cook had a great game and looked the part. - Douglas looked mean, Hamlin still looked iffy. Some good line play but better coverage. - The refs need to chill the eff out. That's the 2nd game this season that's been painful to watch because of a flag every other play. Go Bills.
  9. Carpaccio looks delightful but I've never had it. As for Sal hyping up fans: I didn't see it. I don't really care and I don't know if anyone besides the OP does either. He's a homer who works for the Bills' radio station. If he worked for the AP or something more neutral I could see it being less acceptable. Either way, who cares? Bills won, it's a good day.
  10. They looked horrible week 1 and snuck out a win and he looked atrocious against the Bills. What that says to me is that their scheme has been figured out and the coach can't pivot. Tua is a 1 one read timing QB that can only be successful with an entire scheme built around that one concept.
  11. Can't wait to see Jameis Winston try to determine which of the 100 different choice routes Jerry Jeudy has decided to run that play.
  12. If you have the two fastest WRs in the NFL and 3 of the fastest RBs in the NFL and you can't figure out a way to be competitive with a backup QB then maybe you're not the offensive genius everyone is hyping you up to be. They didn't look good with Tua in either the games he played.
  13. They only got Cooper so cheap because they took on a huge contract. If this was the Hopkins from three years ago I might agree with you, he's a high end role player at this point.
  14. Samuel being as bad as he's been is not something I think anyone could have truly expected. To me, Beane gets a pass here, because analytics guys really liked the Samuel pickup as well as casual observers. Nobody thought it was enough, but everyone thought it was a good start. I don't think it makes a whole lot of sense to pay RBs anymore if the rest of your offense isn't set. So sure, with the benefit of hindsight maybe that would have been a great move. Nobody has that in the moment though.
  15. Honestly that makes the Amari Cooper trade look even better by comparison. It's a worthwhile move though.
  16. I'm not sure what you mean with Jefferson, but I agree with everything else.
  17. He just looks like he's given up on the team and honestly I don't blame him much. He shouldn't have signed there if he wanted more than a payday though.
  18. This reminds me of when Sammy Watkins went to the Chiefs, where he underperformed but ultimately was a good signing for the Chiefs. Hopkins will probably be a helpful role player that can help take some of the attention away from their rookie and Kelce. It's a good move.
  19. People were so quick to tell me I was wrong when I said the extension was premature and a poor decision by the Dolphins.
  20. 100%. He's disgusting and I wouldn't want to hear any player I'm rooting for defend him.
  21. Considering Winston's past, I'm not shocked. Birds of a feather and all that.
  22. Let's not count the chickens before they hatch. The Bills are a good team but this season they've been bipolar. A lot of highs and more lows than we are used to on a Josh Allen team. Baffling coaching decisions in critical situations as well. I wouldn't bet on them to lose any of the next three, but I wouldn't be surprised if they drop one too.
  23. I think when it takes that long to overturn a call on the field, it means that there isn't clear and obvious evidence to overturn the call. To the letter of the rule, maybe it's not a TD, I can't say. In real time it's being called a TD every time by every officiating crew. That's a TD in my book, and an insane individual effort.
  24. This probably more of it than a lot of posters might want to admit. That's not to say Davis isn't good, he seems decent, but the O-Line is cooking in run blocking. When your RB3 (Ty Johnson) doesn't look like a huge drop from your RB1, you probably have a good O-Line.
  25. That’s in line with what I meant, maybe I wasn’t clear.
