  1. Has there ever been a person that seemingly singlehandedly held a team back more than Dorsey? Cook looks like a legitimate superstar in the running and pass game post Dorsey.
  2. Agreed. More reliable talent in the WR2 spot would go a long way. The easiest way to do that would be a high investment in the WR room R1.
  3. Way to conveniently leave out what I said I'd actually want them to do. The smartest course of action would be to let Gabe walk and invest in a R1 WR. Look at the Vikings with Jordan Addison, that's the model you want ideally. Maybe even double dip in the 3rd round. Regardless, Gabe is going to get a contract in the 11-15 million range most likely. I'd rather have a rookie WR than pay 12 for a guy who is way too streaky.
  4. Career wise though it's not. Gabe has less receptions but around the same yards, and way more touchdowns. Davis is also praised as a great blocker and Jones is not.
  5. Just my opinion here, but: A) I wouldn't want to pay a safety that much as White is due with the current contract. B) I don't think White is a good enough tackler to transition to safety well.
  6. I don't think we should hold onto Gabe Davis but saying Zay Jones is better than Davis is a hell of a statement. Given the choice I'd take Davis every time.
  7. I assume that they were hidden by baking the embezzling into the upkeep of the disgusting Jaguars' stadium pools.
  8. Kendrick Bourne and Tyler Boyd are the first two that come to mind. I'd rather replace him with a R1 WR though regardless.
  9. I think there's more reliable guys out there for what you're going to pay in that 6-9 million dollar range.
  10. Not really much you can do one way or the other. Either he'll bounce back or he won't. It seems like the coaching staff is giving him reps and holding out hope that he'll find his groove again. He's on the team no matter what unless he's brought up on those DV charges.
  11. He's almost past Miller, the fact that Mahomes is losing his mind over this is a really, really bad look.
  12. I don't like Tyler Dunne either but I'm going to doubt that he's just making stuff up. It's in line with what we know about regarding his views on complementary football as well.
  13. It's understandable to give him the benefit of the doubt, I just don't think that leeway is appropriate anymore.
  14. Let's skip that drive then. The OT drive is worse.
  15. I fully acknowledge that Dunne likely has a bias here, but it seems appropriate to question the character of a guy who praises the 9/11 terrorists organizational ability and won't take responsibility, like when he reportedly blamed the offense for 13 seconds,
  16. I'm late to the party and I haven't read through this thread but I just want to point out how incredibly bizarre and wild this story is. Even if you want to give McDermott the full benefit of the doubt, this is a gaffe that's just beyond what'd you think is believable. It's like a sitcom.
  17. If they draft a WR in round 1 and keep the same O-Line then I'm actually fine with the talent. Shakir looks like a great depth piece, and a high investment in WR will take pressure off of Diggs/Kincaid. Knox is your RZ TE and Shorter might be able to work his way into a WR5-6 role.
  18. I never saw him pass rushing in a Bills uniform, so he's technically correct.
  19. He's been worse than a JAG. 150 some snaps and only 2 tackles. I've said this before. It's understandable, injuries can be really difficult to come back from. What isn't okay is that the coaching staff keeps throwing him out there despite the extreme lack in production, that's insanity to me.
  20. At least be the best in the 4th quarter. Decent to Great for 3 quarters and 32nd in the 4th can't and shouldn't be acceptable.
  21. Oh sorry, I wasn't talking about Von Miller, but expanding on an experience I had with a coworker who had a DV incident at work. I agree with you and that the situation is different with Von.
  22. You'd be right if it got to that point. The SRO didn't even make a report (I think), I don't think he was ever arrested.
  23. A few years ago a the husband of a coworker walked into the school we both worked at, and started screaming for her. When she came out into the hallway he immediately grabbed her and tried to force her to come with him. When she refused, he began to choke her out, in public. Two custodians (who happened to also be football coaches) and I forcibly removed him from the premises. He luckily didn’t fight back much, I think he realized that the odds weren’t with him. She refused to cooperate with the school resource officer who showed up soon after, even though it was blatantly public.
  24. GMs deal with this kind of stuff all the time. The Bills will be okay.
