  1. I mean, Brady was universally praised for the last two weeks gameplans, but all right. I certainly think it helped. Do you think Dorsey wasn't an issue at all?
  2. It's like he's not ready for these obvious questions from the media and gives the worst answer possible. Sort of like how he is at high pressure situations in game, I'm seeing some parallels.
  3. Those were the tears of Bills fans from around the globe.
  4. The HC and his massively praised defense got not one, but two opportunities to stop the Eagles and win the game, and they failed spectacularly. He even had the gall to kneel down and not even give Allen the chance to win it in regulation. Blaming anything else is just projection.
  5. Why wait? Plenty of folks are doing that now.
  6. Because McDermott's whole defensive philosophy seems to break down when he faces a QB who knows what he's doing (or Mac Jones, apparently). Rushing everybody scares bad QBs because they panic. It just sharpens the good ones. McDermott can't see the difference or he's too stubborn to admit he's wrong. Whatever it is, I'm sick of it.
  7. So not evidence at all, but conjecture and subjective reading of his play? Got it. You. Definitely you. When has Diggs publicly complained about the state of the team? He addressed the media last week and dismissed his brother's claims. I don't know what else you want him to do besides disown him or something. Well why are you on here griping about it if you know he's going to be gone next season? You should be celebrating.
  8. I don't even understand what you're trying to say here. The coordinator change certainly has helped.
  9. You're right and you've articulated something that I didn't, but I think can still be contributed to the new coordinator change. Diggs may be running harder, longer developing routes now that he's not the focus of the short game like he was with Dorsey. That would account for needing more rests.
  10. My explanation is that the Bills have different positional groupings for different situations, and we have a new offensive coordinator who may be utilizing those groupings differently than in the past. You're making the claim, the burden is on you to provide supporting evidence. If you're only evidence that he quit the team is "Well he wasn't out there on 3rd down!?" which can be easily explained away from positional groups and an offensive coordinator change, then you don't have much of an argument and you sound ridiculous.
  11. Not defending McDermott at all here but Dorsey was a legitimate problem. The difference in Allen has been night and day once he got canned. It's a McDermott issue ultimately anyways. Dorsey should have been canned before the season started.
  12. Yes. Sometimes players tell the coaches they can't go back out there. Show me that was the case with Diggs. Without it you're just screaming into the void for nothing. Diggs had a fantastic TD catch and is putting up top numbers across the NFL. Please show me how he's quit on the team. Your vitriol is unfounded and doesn't make sense.
  13. Beane only looks bad because they went all in and McDermott/Dorsey blundered it. Beane is a top 1/3 of the league GM, and an excellent late round talent evaluator.
  14. Do you really think players just arbitrarily get to decide who is out there? You don't realize that coordinators dictate the personnel? Sometimes I'm surprised football viewers know how to get to the channel with their remote.
  15. I think he probably is with the right talent, just like Daboll was.
  16. Completely willing to give Von a pass due to the injury. What's not acceptable is that the coaching staff, either Washington or McDermott, keeps thinking it's a good idea to trot him out there week after week so he can do less than nothing. Rehab is done on the sidelines, not in the game. He's had multiple games to ramp up, it hasn't happened, that's okay. Injuries are what they are. It's not okay to put your head in the sand and put out ineffective players on your defense.
  17. He's a classic example of "good coordinator who can't cut it at HC". His ceiling is coordinator, and honestly that's fine.
  18. McDermott thought Nate Peterman was not only a rosterable QB, but starting caliber. So I would say luck definitely has something to do with finding our way to Allen.
  19. Maybe Cook should have gotten more looks as a pass catching RB over the last 1.5 seasons. Beane and crew talks the talk but until Brady took over Dorsey never used RBs in the passing game.
  20. Sounds like we are on the same page. I do think part of the problem is trusting Gabe with option routes at all, because he and Allen clearly haven't been on the same page all season.
  21. McDermott is awesome at stacking moral victories. Actual victories this season? Not so much.
  22. I'd put a lot of money on that being Gabe's fault. If you're 1-on-1 with no safety help and you're the only deep man you should always break inside, so you don't have to contend with the sidelines.
  23. Bigger markets always get the calls, and personal bias comes into play HARD when it comes to refereeing. The Bills likely have a reputation as undisciplined and they are being treated as such, unfairly so. Combine that with characters like Phillips, Dawkins, even Allen and you can see that they’ve made up their mind about penalties before the flags are even thrown. It’s the same problems with police and any other position of authority. Subjectivity and bias is going to make a huge difference in your perception of how to enforce the rules.
  24. I’m losing it over seeing jabronis say the offense needs to do more after this loss. An absolutely brain dead take. Brady has gotten the offense humming. Allen looked like a superstar again out there. He was by far the best player on the field, and McDermott and the defense failed yet again. This has to be so draining on Diggs, Allen and Cook. Cook was once again the scapegoat getting punished to the extreme for dropping a ball in the rain. Meanwhile Von Miller is taking snaps away from players who can actually do their job. So frustrating.
