It is the off season unless we rank first the fans are going to pick it apart. The goal of the off season is to get better. Makes sense to me that the rbs and everything involved when it comes tot he running game we had last year would get picked apart.

The cap hit is a primary reason to argue the rookie qb shows you are trying to harder to win right now as opposed to trading for the highly paid vet. With a rookie qb contract they can stack the roster around him essentially accelerating the time table to win already irregardless of the rookie qb needing a learning curve potentially. Plus, we are talking about a qb touted as the best qb prospect since Peyton Manning a guy you can sell as someone who they can build around for years and years. Really this trade would be way more of a win for the Texans than the Jaguars I just don't see any sane way that it would make sense for both sides regardless of Watson's talent.

I feel like we could resign mongo still as a reserve guard / center. God, knows Morse is one more concussion from hanging up his cleats. Probably should have already based on his medical history imo.

I doubt we will be players in free agency. Outside of resigning our own free agents, we will be giving Josh Allen a big long term contract this off season as well. If we sign anyone it will be lesser name depth guys and draft to fill major holes / future holes.

Unless offered a kings ransom I doubt the Texans would trade him. Too much cap hit. If they were to trade him it'd be likely be to a team in the NFC imo. The 49ers, Eagles, Panthers or Saints (If Brees retires). All come to mind as potential destinations if Watson were to hold out / demand a trade. Just dubt they'd trade him in division and have him potentially playing them and making the look foolish year after year.

I'm not sur ehow these are mutually eclusive. We just signed an elite pass rusher in free agency in Mario Addison and we have Jerry Hughes who I feel will have a better statistical year with Addison opposite him this year. Both are locked up for a few years and we still have plenty of cap space. Not sure why we couldn;t lock up our elite #1 corner regardless of scheme.

We signed Mario Addison this off season. He is a great pass rusher and we don;t need Ngakou. But with thtat said I wouldn't give more than a second for Ngakou with the contract he is going to demand. I doubt any other NFL team trades more than a second rounder either.

Josh Norman looks like he is walking into a starting spot and he needs to play way better than his past few years. Also, Addison hasn't had less than 9 sacks in a season in the last four seasons. I doubt he is going to magically drop off this season.

What spot is that? The bench? Not sure why everyone is so high on this resigning if it happens? I'd like some of our younger guys on the team to have a chance like Vosean Joseph. With that said. I just looked at his twitter and his background is all Eagles stuff. My guess is the Eagles re-signed him.

More depth on the line. Make everyone earn their spots including depth spots. Trade the rest away in camp. Big baller Beane special
