  1. "According to the lawsuit, the teen told Araiza she was a high school student and, even though he could see she was highly intoxicated, he told her to perform oral sex, then had sex with her. Then Araiza took her to a bedroom where Leonard, Ewaliko and at least one other man were, the complaint alleged, and threw her down on the bed face first. The lawsuit said she was raped for an hour and a half until the party was shut down." - From LA Times Article In that journal she says she doesn;t remember what happened after flirting. She doesn;t know how many guys were in there or who. She says she was thrown face down on the bed essentially claiming she couldn;t id anyone. I'm not saying she is lying or otherwise but any competent defense lawyer could use this and create a million ways to use this as defense for Araiza in regards to the civil lawsuit.
  2. A lot of the claims from her lawyer are contradicted in that journal. That was stupid of that lawyer. If anything this may hurt their case in regards to Araiza.
  3. Yes, that is the completely same scenario.. (sarcasm) If we cut him we are essentially saying we feel he is guilty. You think the NFL would let anyone touch him with a forty foot pole at that point? Even if he is found innocent.. I am not saying he is or isn't. I'm just saying we cut him now we likely do ruin his life.
  4. I would argue being released from the football team would ruin his life. He would be losing a million dollar contract. If you were employed and lost a million dollar salary job your life would be ruined don't you think? I know mine would be..
  5. Just looked this up since I am seeing a lot of misinformation.. What is the law in California? In California, the age of consent is 18 years old.18 Unlike most other states, California does not have a close-in-age exception or Romeo and Juliet Law for its statutory rape laws. However, California allows defendants facing sex crimes involving a minor to raise a mistake of fact defense. They can present evidence that they had a reasonable and actual belief that the minor was 18 or older.19 If there is sufficient evidence to prove this reasonable and actual belief, the burden shifts to law enforcement to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that it did not exist at the time of the offense.20 Essentially, they don't have the Romeo and Juliet law in California but they do have this " I didn't know they were underage law. " If you can reasonably argue you didn't know the person was under age (which he was drunk and obviously didn't card her and there are claims she told people she was 18.) it is on her / law enforcement / her legal team for burden of proof in regards to this.
  6. We are talking about practice / training camp. Everyone and their mother were calling for his head all last year because he was bad. An okay training camp doesn't change the fact he ranked 22nd or worse in all punting statistics last year and helped cause us one or more lost games last year. PUNTS 22nd PUNT GROSS AVG. 31st LONG 22nd PINNED INSIDE THE 20 24th
  7. Did he though? Haack isn't that good of a punter anyways. I feel we could get a better punter than Haack after cuts or at least similarly talented. As far as I am concerned it shows how much trust they had in Haack as the starter that they willingly decided to roll the dice on this than cut the potential media storm issue before it happened.
  8. No thanks, you guys hate Edmunds you'd hate Roquan even more lol Over rated player. Wants more than his worth. Even his own team currently playing this knows this. Hence this public statement.
  9. Can't hold the ball from the sidelines on IR. When healthy he is a stud for sure but he hasn;t played in a full season since 2018.
  10. Here is a local one. https://www.audible.com/pd/Who-is-under-the-radar-Bills-free-agent-addition-How-will-Von-Miller-improve-defense-Jamison-Crowder-possibilities-more-with-Eric-Wood-Podcast/B09W66C63B I saw a lot of Fantasy sites say there will likely be no drop off from Beasley to Crowder. Claiming they have a similar play style. Not exactly saying "under the radar" but Beasley was very productive for us. Here is one of those tweets I saw at the time of the signing. Joe Beldner @JoeBeldner · Apr 10 Do not underestimate the role that Jamison Crowder can carve out with the Bills. He is taking over the slot role, previously had by Cole Beasley. Crowder can become a target monster in this role. Beasley had 10 double-digit target games in the last 2 seasons.
  11. Crowder has been serviceable under every qb all of which have been trash compared to Josh. He has been called by many pundits the under the radar best signing of the offseason. Especially with Josh's proclivity to like to pass to the slot wr a lot. Though that may have been because we didn;t have any good check down recieving rbs which may have been solved this draft.
  12. No offense to Tre but I don't think we need him to win a Super Bowl. As long as Von is as good as advertised the increased pass rush / pressure put on the qb will make the corners jobs a lot easier as they will have to cover way less time. 13. If only we had an elite qb and offense so we didn't have to rely only on our defense to win every game we play.. Oh wait..
  14. You forgot about our upgrade on the interior dl inside pushing the quarterbacks outside of the pocket more often, leading to more clean up sacks on the outside.
  15. eh might replace Zach Moss
  16. 2019 Josh Jacobs
  17. Give me a team full of Aaron Hernandez in his prime. Could you imagine? He'd murder them all.
  18. This.. the most accurate mock last year was by Charlie Campbell https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/accuracy/mock-drafts.php
  19. I don't want anything to do with Toney. The guy is an injury prone headcase with questions concerning his work ethic and commitment tot he game. For example he hasn't shown up to voluntary training camp last year or this year.
  20. You think Edmunds + 25 + next years first + our second this year for 7 and their second would work? If so I would do it. Trade up for a game breaker prospect and at the traded up second draft a replacement lb. There are four or five I feel could step in day 1 and while not replicate Edmunds success at least give close to it. As well as a bunch who if not relied on to do everything day one could likely thrive in a year or two. Guys like (in no particular order) Chad Muma, Leo Chenal, Christian Harris, Troy Andersen, Brian Asamoah, Channing Tindall, Brandon Smith and Quay Walker. Honestly, the more I think about it the more I think this is a great year to draft a lb in the second or third round even if we don't trade Edmunds to let them sit a year behind him and take over next year.
  21. The safeties? All it shows would be that they don't want to pay Tre what he will get / want on the market next year.
  22. He is not making past pick 15 if that... There are so many potential play makers in this draft it will be impossible for one not to be there. I'm guessing George Pickens, Christian Watson or Johan Dotson will be there at the minimum. None of them would be a bad pick at our position. Or we could go S at that point in Cine or heck draft another DE if the board falls like that a talented one might fall. Lots of options..
  23. The Chiefs will move to Kansas.
