I feel like you are off on this. Deep deep draft. Going to get starter level wrs in the 4 - 5th and maybe even6th round depending on what you are looking for. With us likely going the speed route we should find what we need there.
-
The Will Fuller comp is fair injury wise but you wouldn't be paying close to 13 million for Chark. And with our training staff we might be able to keep him healthy. If we could big if but if we could he would be a huge value for what he is going to get in free agency I feel due tot hat injury history. And he would be an ideal wr 4 imo. He has an extra gear real speed stretch the field guy.

This class is going to be deep. Many guys stayed the extra year that the colleges let them due to Covid so they are declaring this year rather than last. So will be a lot deeper in the mid to late ranges this year. Also, going to see a few surprise UDFAS this year guys that would normally be drafted but didn't make the cut due to the draft number games that are going to make rosters and make noticeable contributions early.

Brandon Beane: Top priority for offseason - protecting Josh Allen
dje85 replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I don't think we need to worry about that.. You see his Toronto first pitch? -
Many don't have the tens of millions in the bank as they spend it like it is water coming out of a never ending well. Not saying he doesn't but many spend spend spend.

It is not happening, just that bum nobody rumor mongering and other talent thirsty Sabres fans taking it and running with it. If there is less than zero percent chance this will happen. The package the Sabres would have to trade would deplete the limited talent pool and numerous picks they have coming up.
-
Funny everyone claiming now is the time to trade up. I was thinking the opposite. We should trade back from our first into the early mid second and pick up another 2nd or third rounder plus. Then with the extra picks draft players we are seriously lacking starters / depth at or need cheaper depth. For example we need a cb 2 or someone to atleast compete with Dane Jackson because Wallace is going to want more than I think he is worth. Dt we need cheap depth as we already have too much invested there but need a solid space eater to replace Star who is over paid for his snap count. We also need a rb 2 9 This is personal opinion Moss just isn;t cutting it), a wr 3 /speed wr (unless they feel Stevenson can step up), need depth across the oline (I bet we cut loose one or two guys like Ford(due to talent) and Williams( if he doesn't restructure I bet we cut him loose since he is being paid too much for a guard spot. Among other things like a new punter, cheaper special teams guys. Why are we paying so much for special teams specialists again? Maybe a lb who we can develop behind to potentially replace Edmunds next year (I like him but not at 12 million a year or more.. if we can't work out a fair contract I doubt we tag him. I feel if he hits free agency he will be over paid much like he is on his current contract. We could also use a te 2. I want to take the old school Patriots route of drafting depth. Trade back get a ton of different guys that fit our need profile or have high RAZ/ traits but are raw that need coached up. Take shots and see if they can be coached up to replace some of our heavy contracts or ones coming up.. Yeah guys won't hit all the time but more shots mean more hits.

Could Bills Trade Up To #1 For Pass Rusher? Picks and Rousseau For #1?
dje85 replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, because every NFL player comes in day one and becomes a stud day one. Rousseau came in and played very well for a rookie. Will he need to take a step up yes but I wouldn't assume he won't become a beast when he hasn't even had a full year & off-season in a NFL training room. Usually takes two to three years to truly tell where some of these guys are talent wise. -
Isaiah McKenzie aka, Lil Dirty, sounds like he’s moving on

I'd love Chark in our offense. 4.35 Speed. Definitely add that over the top speed everyone has been calling for in our wr corps. Plus, I think he could be really really good in our system. -
Josh is playing in the Pebble Beach pro am next week.
dje85 replied to Southern Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
How is the cut line determined? The cut line for the PGA Tour pros after 54 holes will be the top 65 players, plus those tied at the end of that group. But Pebble Beach also throws in a wrinkle, as the Top 25 Pro-Am teams after the handicap of the amateur is factored in also get to play on Sunday -

You are correct only top 25 go into day 3. -

With the 25th Pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select...
dje85 replied to Mark Vader's topic in The Stadium Wall
BPA regardless of position (Obviously not qb, Punter, Kicker, Long snapper.) otherwise just take best player. Fill needs later on if BPA doesn't match need. I want talented players not guys that just fill a hole in our roster but are average or mediocre. -
Bills request to interview Tee Martin for OC Job
dje85 replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall
100% This1 I hated the Daboll hire, that turned out well so I am personally okay with whom ever they end up with. It will be hard to mess up being an OC for Josh Allen. -
No we are not.. Nor are we the fastest. What we are bad at offensively is YAC. We were last in the league in that I believe.

Anybody welcome the team back from the airport?

Not a huge amount but it was 3 am on a Monday morning in super cold weather more than I'd of expected. -
I’d rather keep Poyer

Personally, I’m all for signing Antonio Brown. Likely can get him on a cheap one year deal. Tried trading for him in the past.

Texans getting closer to hiring Josh McCown as Head Coach
dje85 replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
May as well just choose the guy you like personally with no coaching experience at all. I mean, not like any competent hire could turn that dumpster fire around any time soon for at least another couple years. Little to no talent on that team and what little they do have is still likely out the door this off season. About as full rebuild starting this off season as is possible. -
I could see Trubisky going to multiple teams and starting next year. Too many teams need a qb and not enough good ones will be available via the draft and free agency. BY my estimate there will be openings or partial openings he could potentially fill at the qb position for the Saints, Broncos, Panthers, Texans(not counting Watson), Giants, Steelers, Seahawks (If Wilson is traded like rumored this off season), or Washington Football team. Also, I don't find it likely the Colts will be in the hunt for him or move on from Wentz due tot he fact they have already committed so much into him salary and pick wise. A first rounder and 28 million cap hit that would be 15 million if they cut him. They are stuck with him at this point until atleast 2023 where they have an opt out.

Likely to miss the playoffs? We are like 80% odds to still make the playoffs if we win three of our last four including if we lose the Pats game as the loss. We are pretty likely to still make the playoffs despite all the crying on this site. 99.9% if we win out..
-
That happens when half your team is on IR. They have had a terrible season in regards. The fact they are 8-3 at this point is amazing and their HC should be coach of the year this year. Doubtful they will be able to beat the Pats or enough teams to keep the one seat since the injuries are catching up to them. Though personally I can't root for a Pats win even if we needed it to make the playoffs lol Just can't consciously root for them ever. Like rooting for the devil.

Are we going to be like the obnoxious and unbearable Patriot fans?
dje85 replied to Leonitas's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, after our first Super bowl we will likely be worse. I know personally, after having to deal with people saying "Boy I like losing Superbowls" and other things like the Bills are a terrible team and always will be, that they will move before they ever win a Superbowl in my life, and other junk growing up .. I plan on shoving these wins down every opposing teams throats as long as I can .. Especially Pats fans!
