Name 2 players drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2022
dje85 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Max Borghi and Chad Muma -
I can;t talk about his play as I also haven't ever watched a Giants game in many seasons. But from what I have heard he is a solid corner. This is all about the Giants cap space. They are tight against it, and like Beane when he came into the Bills GM position, Schoen is coming in and moving a majority of the high cap players who don't fit in to his vision.

It's fun to make for some people. I read them to get an idea about the prospects leading up to the draft. I don't personally make any mock drafts though. Way too much work imo.
-
The minimal drop in talents between the top five or sic corners in this draft would keep me from doing this. Especially for Sauce Gardner. There are some pundits who isn;t even his top corner in this draft on their board. Joe Marino has him as the third best corner for example. I think we can stay where we are at and get a very very talented corner in Booth, Stingley, McDuffie or Elam.

I will throw things if we take him at pick 25. He is way too raw right now for my liking. He won't be ready to start for a few years. Yes, you can't teach speed but you also can't expect a kid who went to UTSA and only has two years of corner experience to cover NFL receivers. With how talented and deep this draft is at cb if we took him before the third I would be ticked off. I want a day 1 starter at cb if we are taking someone at 25. And even taking him in the third round I would be taking him based off physical traits not talent. His play warrants a 6th or 7th round pick at best. Kid whiffs tackles, isn't a great cover corner, and isn't nearly as physical in the run game as he needs to be for the NFL. Not saying he can't learn just he isn't there right now and he is the type of guy that usually goes in the 6th or 7th to develop who would have if he didn't kill the combine.

Just adding to your post, I think McDuffie or Stingley would be great choices hopefully one or both of them fall to us. McDuffie is an ideal Bills style corner. He blankets corners (though doesn;t have a lot of explosive plays to show for it) and he is super physical against the run he seems to like to hit. He also could return punts. Stingley may be the most physically complete corner in the draft who would be cb1 if he played more the past two seasons imo. That said he is less physical in run support than Mcduffie but he will likely put up more explosive plays in general of the two. I'd add Sauce Gardner too but we all know he isn't dropping low enough to reach him. Stingley may drop lower than you think just due to his limited playing time the past two years due to injury (weirder things have happened) but based on talent alone, yes, he should be gone before we pick.

Matt Barkley Back? (Yep! deal not yet known)

I don't personally feel it will matter who we have as our backup qb as we have enough offensive weapons and a great defense to keep us in and win games. Just rely on a heavy run and run option and let the defense keep us in those games. -

Fitz wants to be a starter he isn;t coming here. Thank God for that! As he is a starter qb injury jinx. Don;t want that bad juju on Allen. -
2 iol, 2 cb, 1 rb, 1 punter, 1 WR, 1 gunner
-
This is what I believe. I bet we double dip at corner in the draft ( 1 early in the first or second round, one late) plus pick a vet up in free agency. Plus we will also double dip at oline semi early. My bet we drafted a mid round rb in the fourth or fifth to replace what we wanted in Mckissick.

Stefon Diggs with a two-emoji reaction to the Von Miller contract on Instagram... Devil face and shh face.. (did not transfer over properly so I put it in text.) Mckenzie on instagaram .. eating popcorn emoji

I love this signing. I was calling for us to trade for him mid season last year. Guy is going to be a steal of this free agency.

He already changed his Twitter profile to say "Bills Mafia" I think they are just spreading the signings out. Follow Tim Settle Jr @tim_settle Leader of all #BillsMafia DM(V)hokiesports.com/football/playe…Joined June 2011

Crapola, really liked this potential signing too
-
He looked terrible last year. Didn;t throw a pass longer than 10 yards (check down after check down) and still only completed like 45 percent of those passes. It was bad.
-
Kyle Allen is my guess. no inside source just best guess. He vacationed with our Allen I bet we sign him since he and Josh get along.
-
We are actually on the same side. Just misunderstood your point when I saw taking Breece in the second lol People don't understand you can't just assume every great prospect is going to fall to us. Made me ignore the rest of the point of the post.
-
If Breece is there at our second round pick I will let you change my avatar to your choice. There is zero percent chance of that happening. he goes mid second the latest likely late first early second.

Bills sign DT Tim Settle, formally of Washington Commanders.

Never would've made it to us anyways. CB or wr most likely draft pick imo. -
Heard they were in negotiations with Chark.
-
26 sacks in his last 33 games played. Sign me up for that..
-
Roger Saffold would also seem like a guy we could pursue with ties to Kromer.
-
Realistic or wish? Wish Davante Adams, JC Jackson, Chandler Jones, Haasan Reddick, and Brandon Sherff. Realistic: Resign our guys go into the draft without glaring holes on the roster.
-
NFL ON EPSN LOL... Fake News..
-
We have holes in our roster. Beane's motto for the roster is to never have gaping holes in the roster going into the draft. We are either going to resign our own free agents or sign other guys maybe not the name guys everyone is thinking but someone and that's all I am expecting anything better than that Like a Chandler Jones or Gronk is icing on the cake to me. I'm fully expecting signing guys I'd never heard of. For example, Poyer and Hyde in the past, and we all know how that worked out, so I am not going to stress who we sign. Just hope for the best and enjoy the rumors. So no disappointment here for me at least. Just fun until we see who we end up with.
