We should but Daboll doesn't have a great track record on screen plays. Morse should be a beast on screen plays as he is best blocking in space. Not sure if any of the other linemen are good at running screens.

A 3rd round pick that can't beat out an UDFA that bounced around the NFL and CFL is not hyperbole. Zimmer is one of those good glue hustle guys all teams need. He's not talented enough to be your starter but he is solid enough to make some plays and not be a liability. And he's cheap. Championship teams need those guys and guys on rookie deals if they want to keep paying the stars big dollars.

Rousseau developed quickly and Addison is still playing at a decent level. If they dressed 5 WR Obada might be able to dress and get some spot pass rushing plays.

3rd round pick is pretty high for a guy that can't beat out Zimmer or Butler for playing time. He is two years removed from the ACL injury. Agree Basham is getting the AJ treatment. Would be nice to get him some live reps soon. If Star continues to look good maybe they can sit Butler one week and let Boogie play the role of swing DT/DE.

With Brady gone none of them really mean more than any other game. For the record I want to get rid of the division format anyways. I would much rather play 16 (now 17) different opponents each week and thus having a matchup with every team no less than every two years.

After only two games, the performances we are seeing by tight ends is absolutory incredible I am just amazed at what Gronk can still do. And of course now Kelce seems to be in another stratosphere. You can make a strong case for Gronk though. Gonzalez has played twice as many games as Gronk, yet Gronk only trails Gonzalez by 21 TDs while having a higher yards/game and yards/catch than Gonzalez. . Some of the stats are really interesting. Kelce is #1 in yards/game and by a wide margin. I'm trying to avoid a bias to this eras players but the numbers are staggering. I'm also trying to take blocking into account in my rankings. If Kelce continues at this pace, he will move into the top 5 if he is not already there. My Top 5 1. Gonzalez 2. Gronk 3. Gates 4. Newsome 5. Winslow 6. Kelce 7. Sharpe 8. Witten 9. Mackey 10. I am very confident Josh will be fine. He has the tools to be great and he has always been my number one choice from that draft class. But for all of those posters that think just because he was great last year it is a certainty he will be great again, go check out Derek Anderson's career after his 2007 one year wonder with Cleveland.

Is it possible to criticize a players performance and not jump off the bandwagon? I don't understand why pointing out Allen or any player/coach has performed poorly is some knock on our fan loyalty. It's just the truth. Do you think completing 17 or 33 passes is a good game? I actually didn't think the INT was a terrible throw. It was not great but it was also a great play by a top 3 DB. However the deep ball to Diggs was a terrible throw that Diggs bailed him out. In week one he misses Sanders by five yards and in week two he underthrew the ball to Diggs by five yards at least. He has to play better. I want a SB win. Nothing else matters at this point. And if they are to win the SB Allen has got to be as he was in 2020. That is not jumping off some proverbial bandwagon. Its an observation and an opinion that does not in any way diminish my loyalty to a team I follow from 2800 miles away.
