  1. Before the Feliciano injury, Long was not on my final 53. But who is the back-up center now?
  2. He's better at guard than Long but not a backup center.
  3. It depends. If he was masked and the players were masked they don't need to quarantine. Only household members and close contacts would need to be quarantined. Same goes for any occupational exposure. Who gets quarantined is all about what they were wearing and how close they were in contact with the positive person.
  4. Yes he can and will need to. The question is from whom did he get it and did he pass it on to any other staff and players? They will know in about 5 days if others are infected.
  5. I’ve mostly been in the camp of the season is doomed. That said if the wanted to get serious they could do a few things to give them a chance. 1. Delay everything at least 30 days. Send everyone home with masks and trackers. The stats suggest the post 4th of July surge may have crested. An additional 30 days may see community transmission rates falling. 2. Divide the teams up. The Bills know who 20 of the 22 starters are. There is no reason to expose the starters to the other 60 players. 3. Divide them again into offense/defense by time of day and/or site for the majority of days. Again there is no need for defensive players to mingle for film and drills. 4. When full practice is needed everyone gets tested with 24 hours of the practice. 5. Mandate face masks for everyone. It puts everyone on the same level. I don’t think there is any difference in performance with a mask but even any small difference would be mitigated by everyone wearing them. 6. Mandate a minimum of 3 QBs per team put the starting QB in their own quarantine. Every other position can be replaced with a second tier guy except QB.
  6. Hope so. If he doesn't make a big jump this year they will have a big decision to make on his future.
  7. For QB, its Yards per attempt and TD/INT ratio. Those are the two stats that matter most. White is an amazing player and compares equally yo Gilmore. I just think both are a notch below the truly elite guys in their prime like Sherman and Revis.
  8. MLB will end by 8/15. NFL will delay start of season until at least mid-October.
  9. Looks like a mix of guys with legit reasons and a handful of bubble guys that are taking the $150k as a lump sum payment instead of risking getting cut.
  10. I predicted Oliver in another thread. Not because of his arrest but the fact he lived in Houston which is a massive hot spot of COVID. ESPN says he lives in Tampa.
  11. no it isn't. If exposed it takes days to turn positive
  12. Wrong. The incubation period is at least 3 days and as long as 14. More likely players were exposed much earlier than when in PA. It will also be interesting to see if one player was the index case or if several players were exposed at an event
  13. I'm fairly certain they know 48 of the final 53 already. They need to make a decision on kicker, whether to keep 2 or 3 QBs, to keep Lee Smith, and the final DB and OL to carry. Maybe a backup LB spot is also up for grabs. After that the team is already set prior to any losses due to injury.
  14. Seahawks overpaid. They already had to deal with Earl Thomas hefty contract demands. Shocked they would want to go down that road again. That said they probably get better this year in defense.
  15. You can’t be serious right? Beane signed and kept Frank Gore.
  16. All great choices The most important play of the season may have been CJ Moseley getting hurt in first game against the Jets. While he was playing the Bills' offense was terrible. Had he remained on the field and they lost that game, the season would have been very different.
  17. You have no basis in fact to make a claim about either of their mental toughness. Newton was assaulted in the SB and he just kept getting up play after play. What has Dak ever done or said to question his mental toughness? I suppose you would praise Allen's mental toughness. But he is the QB that lateralled the ball to no one in the playoff game and took a brutal field position killing sack.
  18. He's a QB. What do you expect? When Jairus Byrd was tagged and held out it made national news and that was for a safety. It's all about the drama of the situation. Will he sign the tag? Will he sign long term before the deadline? Will he hold out? Will he report to accrue a season? It's all part of the entertainment of the sport. And it allows people like us to give opinions on the value of players and the decisions teams make, even though we have little clue what we are talking about. Relax and enjoy
  19. Dak is a good quarterback who plays in a large market and has the franchise tag applied to him. Kirk Cousins had nearly the same situation and had similar media coverage. Were you outraged at Cousin's media coverage?
  20. Cap is based on gross revenue and not net revenue. So if there is no season it doesn't matter that the players wont get paid. They will have to negotiate a new cap. There would be no other way. Owners will still want to negotiate guaranteed money for roster bonuses as they would be obligated to pay regardless if there is any revenue or not.
  21. Clowney. Cut Murphy I wonder if any trades made now will be conditional on the season starting or a certain number of games player. It would be silly to trade for a player now in exchange for a 2021 draft pick. There may be no season played and you would be out a draft pick
  22. Rodgers has had a decent supporting cast. And Adams is great. The media was banging on GB for not taking a WR but they added 5 other offensive positions in the draft in addition to Love. They didn’t need another WR.
