Ed Oliver in walking boot..per Matt Parrino

He's a 1 tech not a 3. This is what Sanders was drafted for. Should be a good opportunity for the kid. -
Did Harbaugh Call Timeout Too Quickly?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Last Guy on the Bench's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Harbaugh let's time run then Bills would have clocked it on third down instead of taking a knee. I get the OP point. Maybe if done wrong by the Bills ( clocking it with say 10 seconds left) there may have been a few seconds of game clock left after the FG giving Baltimore a chance with the kick return. -

Sad but this has been the story of Oliver's career. Dominat in a game or two, then gets dinged up and misses time or plays ineffectively while injured. He flashes brilliant play then disappears. I know this is a fluke but its happened pretty much every year. Just start Sanders this week and let him show what he has. -

Could have kept Darnold on a franchise tag and kept McCarthy or traded him for other assets I dont think Darnold is a top QB but they could have kept him on a one year deal to find out -

Lol. Thanks for posting. Thats so awful That explanation of the would be fumble makes zero sense unless making contact with the ball is the same as making contact with the player. His knee down means nothing as he can still get up. I didn't see him touched elsewhere before the ball came out. -

Thats a fumble. First contact was on the ball not the player. Knee down doesn't mean anything until contact made. Clear recovery but no TD -

Ugh I can't stand Joe Buck. Barely tolerable doing baseball. Awful at football. -

Top 10 of the 2024 NFL draft was insane. But these two QBs may be the worst of the bunch Nix looks better than both of them so far Only one game for McCarthy I know but he wasn't that good in college -

Game looks too big for both these guys I didn't either of these guys as good QB choices If I was the Bears I would have traded down one spot and taken Marvin Harrison Jr -

Will Prater Be Signed to the 53?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course the player can not sign with another team but the money is much higher and they probably want to play. There may be some retirement/vesting issues too with being in the active 53 for a certain number of games. As for putting him on the 53 now, maybe they get him to agree to stay on the PS so it opens up another spot for the 53 for a couple more weeks. Probably saves them a little cap space too. But as you said it makes the most sense to sign him this week to the 53. -
Good the Bills/NFL acted quickly. Anyone know if he was ejected from the game?

Eligible Receivers - 2pt Coleman Non-Catch
Ethan in Cleveland replied to saundena's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you step out on your own you can't re-establish. If you are pushed out then you can. They must have determined he went out of bounds on his own. He was contacted in the end-zone. I guess it is a judgement call if he was pushed. They either blew the call or determined he went out on his own. Just a hunch but since he took at least three and maybe four steps OOB, I suspect they thought he went OOB on his own and wasn't making an immediate attempt to get back in the end-zone. I have not seen a replay since last night but the contact seemed to be at about 6 yards deep in the end-zone suggesting he may have been able to stop. Not saying it was the correct call, just saying what they had to judge. -

Agree Rapp was signed to be safety #3 or 4 backing up Hyde, Poyer, and a pre-injury Hamlin. -
Will Prater Be Signed to the 53?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
That is not how PS works. Each week the Bills have to designate him protected or not. That apparently happens on Tuesday, though I don't know if they actually announce who the protected players are. There is a max for four players per week and it has nothing to do with whether they were elevated or not. If they do not designate them as protected, teams don't put a claim in on him. They must sign him to their active 53. If Bills don't protect him, they can't stop him from leaving. -
Hoecht probably will. Ogenjobi probably wont make the roster unless they want to cut ties with DQ.

Lamar would make Micah look silly too. Bosa looked like a true pass rusher. Now get the PED guy and Jackson up to speed and send Epenesa and a box of chocolates to some team for a safety.

Thank you! Collinsworth is the best analyst hands down. And his over the top enthusiasm is not biased. He was all over the Ravens punting and was spot on for playing for the FG. He's by far the smartest analyst with a quick mind. Romo is entertaining Will be interesting to see if Brady gets any better, because Olsen was a much better analyst.

Technically he caught it three times but the stats line only says one reception... Love seeing that on tape. May give teams a little pause when he is out there taht it is not 100% running plays
