  1. They drafted RB, TE and three offensive linemen. And they have Favante Adam's who caught 83 balls for just under 1000 yards in 12 games. Maybe they were thinking there are other ways to help Aaron.
  2. Fair passing game? He was statistically better in every category than Allen. His QB rating was 113 with 36 TD against only 6 INT. What would you call an above average passing game?
  3. 100% agree. They should be all in to win now. The Diggs trade was perfect for a win now mentality. I would eat up cap space for Clowney or trade away a pick next year for a pass rusher.
  4. Last year they played NFC East dumpster fire. This year they play NFC west the best division in football. It's a big difference- on paper.
  5. If they don't make the playoffs because Josh regresses then Daboll will be gone and in 2021 they will find a QB to compete with Allen. Beane and McD would be stupid to pin their entire careers on one QB. I think Allen will only get better but we just need to wait and see. Also, if Knox makes one block then Daboll is a genius for calling that Allen end around in OT that would have won the game. So it goes....
  6. I agree. Can't have it both ways though. Cant blame Whaley for Zay and Peterman and credit McD for White. It was all McD including passing on Mahomes
  7. Then Whaley gets credit for Tre and Dawkins too. But you are correct Beane was still with Carolina for that draft
  8. Pump the brakes there fellas. Last year they carried six WR. The first four are set - the trio of Diggs, Brown, and Beasley with Roberts set as a great return guy. McKenzie is the gadget player that Daboll loves that is not in the skill set of the rookies. That leaves one roster spot that presumably will go to Davis. He will fill the Duke Williams role. Foster will be gone. And Hodgins may make the PS or tweak his hamstring in training camp so they can put him on IR for a year.
  9. It’s all good as long as Allen gets better. He looks like he CAN be a franchise QB. He has much to improve. If he doesn’t then It will be a challenge just to get back to the playoffs let alone make a deep run. How long do you want to wait?
  10. 1. Ravens 2. Chiefs 3. Steelers (assuming healthy Roethlisberger) 4. Bills 5. Broncos 6. Colts 7. Patriots(If Patriots sign Newton then move them to 5) 8. Titans 9. Browns 10. Texans 11. Raiders 12. Chargers 13. Jets 14. Dolphins 15. Bengals 16. Jags (If Jags sign Newton or Winston then they probably move as high as 11)
  11. I completely agree on taking chances on day 3. The 4-3 edge player needs to have some pass rush ability. Epenesa doesn't have the speed to be a great pass rusher. He should be a very good run stopper with 4-5 sacks a year.
  12. It's a C if you think RT and edge rusher needed to be addressed and you think Fromm is a waste of pick. Also maybe if you don't include Diggs. For me I'm fine with Ford at RT. Epenesa is a solid if not dynamic choice. I would have preferred an OTlate but getting Adam's in UDFA is cool. Only miss is a punter. I went with a B. Diggs, Epenesa, Moss and maybe Bass will all have immediate impacts
  13. I think moving them back to the PS means another team would be able to sign them to their 53 just like they can now. I would still keep 3 QBs this year and keep an extra OL and DB on PS to be the extra two guys called up.
  14. 100% chance he is stashed on IR for 2020
  15. Hughes, Addison, Clowney, Epenesa, Jefferson as DE/DT Star, Oliver, Phillips, Butler, at DT Last season they only had 8 but I'd keep 9. They had 5 TE on first 53 man roster - they will only have four this year
  16. Of course it is just like doing mock drafts. Just have fun
  17. Solid B. Diggs and Moss provide more weapons for Allen and Epenesa adds much needed youth to the DE spot Diggs - Unlike some that don't include veterans that are traded for picks I will. Diggs is as good as any first round WR prospect, has a proven track record, and has a reasonable contract. A+ Epenesa - solid DE that brings youth, size, and strength. Doubt he gets more than 5 sacks a year but he should not be a liability in the run game and has a year to learn from Addison. B+ Moss - good tough RB that fills a need. B Davis - decent size and has a chance to develop. I suspect he will be a healthy scratch most of the year as he won't play much STs and is not the gadget type 4th WR that Daboll likes. Replaces Duke. B- Fromm - I wanted another QB but would rather have had Eason. I think his upside may be a little more than Barkley but his downside might be as bad as Peterman. He has a JV arm but has played against great competition for years. He will easily make the team and they will carry 3 QBs this year. B grade getting him in the 5th. Bass - camp competition and good use of a late round pick when they had little other roster spots open. B Hodgins - slow off the LOS with little separation. Great hands and height but not athletic. Unlikely he makes the roster unless the keep 7 WR. If he has a decent camp, maybe a PS guy Jackson - little to no chance to make the roster. Pick would have been better used on a P or an OT or used earlier in the day to move up a few spots. Good chance he makes the expanded PS. D
  18. Worst unit in NFL to the best in three years. Nicely done.
  19. Jordan Phillips - 9.5 sacks from the DT spot. Yes he led the team in sacks last year. He is gone. And yes Oliver played better as the year went on. I agree, AJ looks like he can do everything Lawson did. He is tall, stout, and a hustle player. Most of Lawson's sacks last year were effort sacks. Good solid draft pick.
  20. Clowney would have third highest career sack total on the team in 5 seasons compared to Addison (8) and Hughes(10). After his rookie year, in the last 5 years Clowney has missed 9 games. Not great but not terrible. Addison has only missed 3 in that same time but is 5 years older. He is a productive and disruptive DE. Not worth elite money I agree 100%. But he would make the defense better and they have the money to bring him in.
  21. Top 5 in yards (tied for 10th in takeaways) and folded in the playoff game, but I generally agree with everything you posted. You can score more points with short fields off of turnovers. That is why I want more pass rush. They let the best interior pass rusher go and now they have to hope Oliver gets better. He was improving throughout the year. Bringing back the OL and adding Diggs t back-up RB is perfect, but the offense is all about Allen's development.
  22. They signed a FA and drafted two TE's last year. TE has been the worst position in Bills history with zero ProBowl nominations - ever. But they added three new players last year and Knox looks like he can be great.
  23. Add a punter, an OT, three linebackers, and two safeties. That is all.
  24. I don't care about name on jersey. And I agree they have addressed the losses but they still lack a dominant pass rush. Hughes will be a year older. Both starting DE will be over 30. Pass rush equals turnovers. I wanted two edge players in this draft and they got one. It's the only missing part on the defense except perhaps backup FS.
  25. Hughes is still very good. Murphy is absolute garbage. Clowney is overrated but on a one year prove it deal he would be a great. They just picked up 5th year extension on White. Even if they wanted to extend him it would not affect cap now as it would have to be years after his current deal. They have the money to spend now. There is no tomorrow. Win now while Allen is cheap.
