  1. One of the last things the lead flight attendant says is definitely: "She was spitting at people back there." Which the cop just sort of ignored with an "OK" like "I've seen worse." LOL
  2. This is my reaction, too. You have to be pretty dumb to get caught, given the way the system works.
  3. What I have always loved about BB from the beginning is how he very clearly had a master plan, built over a period of years. He had a good idea how to turn a joke of an irrelevant franchise into a steady solid contender, with deliberate, well planned phases. I remember when they started getting rid of players--even with big names like Marcell Dareus--who didn't really want to be in Buffalo or just didn't get with the program. That was when I thought "this guy has a plan...let's just see where it goes."
  4. How about Matty Acht Acht ????
  5. I believe you mean "raaag aaaaaahhhhm." 😛
  6. I have had enormous hope for him since Day One. Then last year happened and my enthusiasm lessened considerably. Will be interesting to see what he does this year on the whole. We'll get a much better idea of what we drafted after this year.
  7. To the OP: I assume this means Mel Kiper did not finish in the top 14. Did you add up a score for him? I'm just curious how bad it is.
  8. I was expecting the song to be worse, TBH. The star is that old Merc convertible.
  9. Mmmm. Do we know any other teams that this applies to? 🤔
  10. That responsibility is an issue for an insurance company, not an NFL team. Having said that, I know nothing of this guy's condition nor have I ever seen any type of medical report on him, nor am I a doctor! But I agree with others--if teams feel his physical condition will result in a wasted pick (short career basically) then they are going to look elsewhere.
  11. Josh Allen's pre-draft prospect vs. what he is now is arguably the greatest improvement in NFL history. He always had a high ceiling, sure. What were the odds he would come close to hitting it? That was the issue. He is a fabulous, one in a million, success story.
  12. I would assume this type of calculation is built into the grades for each team. If it isn't, the "grade" doesn't really make any sense. The idea should be to evaluate how well each team did given their draft position, needs, etc., and that calculation would have to change for each team accordingly. Now, how one goes about doing that a day after the draft is beyond me. We might know more in 3 years.
  13. For sheer distance in terms of where the ball ends up, it might be close. If you could put a little GPS chip inside the ball, though, and measure its complete trajectory, the punter will EASILY go way farther. Think of the muscle groups involved. A leg is a hell of a lot stronger than an arm, even if you are Josh Allen and you throw with your entire body in a torquing motion, which is where his power comes from.
  14. Get back to me in 3 years and we'll talk about who had a good or bad draft this weekend.
  15. I'm pretty sure the OP was goofing around and making a joke.
  16. 2 Comments: 1) I love how the veteran flight crew is waiting for the cops to show up outside the plane. When the guy gets up there, presumably the captain of the plane is like "meh" and doesn't really bother with the details. He simply directs the head flight attendant to come over as if to say "This ***** is not worth the bother; talk to this woman here; she will tell you what you need to know. I get paid to fly airplanes." 2) How about Entitled Karen? Would ya? For me it's a very solid "YES" all day long!
  17. I found this strangely entertaining.
  18. I'm a fan of the Buffalo Bills football team. Beyond that, I have no "guys" for which I personally cheer for. Hell, I don't cheer for the individuals ON THE TEAM beyond what they contribute to the team.
  19. Our offense, particularly the OL, has enormous room for improvement. But a huge % of fans here are going to utter "defense" even with their dying breath. It's because they have heard "experts" talk about the value of it their ENTIRE LIVES and they can't let it go. Luckily, "traditional football guy wisdom" is FINALLY starting to die off and will be gone for good in another 5-10 years. It's being replaced by intelligent, reflective thinking and data analysis.
  20. Well, he is 80. I thought he was dead to be honest. LMAO
  21. If Wayne Newton has any more work done on his face, he won't be able to blink without ripping open some stitches.
  22. I agree he will be here this year; doesn't mean we have to "let it go." He's not beyond criticism simply b/c the organization has decided to double down on the mistake of drafting him. That's a common front office move.
  23. The drafting hasn't been great. They stand out in almost all other categories. I just wish they would learn to stop this trading up crap. It's stupid. But last night's move ultimately isn't enough to really get me worked up one way or the other.
