  1. "I was just terminated, but I'm ridiculously fired up." Trust this guy as far as you can throw him.
  2. Of course he would have been able to get some excellent, professional, sports massage work if that is what he wanted. He would also have been able to get lots of professional sex workers if that's what he wanted. None of that is what he wanted; he wanted exactly the profile that he victimized again and again. This isn't about massage or sex; it's about a sexual predator looking for victims so he could engage in sexual predatory activity, with the shock, outrage, and pain felt by the victims being a huge part (maybe the whole part) of the turn on for this guy. A lot of of his victims are not even masseuses!
  3. That's a great point. If you are not going to have a relentless analytics department---and then listen to it with your decision making during the game---why bother sleeping in the office? The culture of the NFL is a very tight little inbred community and they all think the same way and do the same things. It's a shame, because right NOW there is a genuine opportunity for a single team to gain a truly competitive advantage by going in all-analytics. 10 or 15 years from now, ALL teams will be doing that, and the competitive advantage will be lost.
  4. McDermott at 18 so the piece is trash and a joke. Had McDermott been top 3, would have been an excellent, fair piece. LMAO
  5. Yeah, but that's not the question. It's a thought experiment. I think I would still follow the team and want to see them be successful, but I would be as vocal as I could be about my unhappiness with the choice of QB. I'd try to ban together with everyone to put pressure on the organization to get rid of the guy, and maybe even the guys who thought it was a good idea to acquire him too.
  6. Aussie rugby sounds cool---but no, I didn't see it. Just saw this now.
  7. How old are you? you should be visiting a doctor on some kind of routine basis, like every 6 months. You have no idea what might be wrong with you, and the longer you let things go, the worse they can get, or shorten your life--or they might even kill you outright. It's just a good idea to keep an eye on things. You should probably be taking some prescription meds routinely to deal with little things that aren't quite right, and the fact that you aren't is just hurting your long term health. Sure, you might be in 100% perfect health! That would be great...but odds are you are not.
  8. These guys all do that stuff. Part of the culture of being an NFL head coach is the perception that you must be working 20 hours a day in order to be doing a good job. It's been that way for decades.
  9. Will be interesting to see if they do some type of Walmart advertising on the uniforms--which has to be coming at some point or another anyway.
  10. The damning evidence, for anyone who bothers to pay attention, is the TWENTY THREE women who have come forward telling basically the same story, with many of those women not knowing of the others' existence or the details of their stories. For anyone who has actually bothered to study some of the details of the complaints, it is more than obvious that Watson is a fairly sophisticated sexual predator, with a well developed MO. Many of the women are not even masseuses...and that was part of the plan. He deliberately preyed on women who, in theory, were just happy to have a star on their resume, and who wouldn't necessarily know what is commonly accepted or not accepted in the world of massage. Women who would be afraid to raise a red flag and speak out, for fear of the damage it would do to their fledgling businesses. Further, let's not forget that Watson is a young, famous, athletic guy, and rich. He can land a hot girlfriend with the rest of them if he wants. He could also pay some money and easily have wild massage fantasy sex sessions with professional sex workers. NO! That's not what this predator wanted. Rapists don't want sex, they want rape. He WANTED to threaten and scare young women, make them feel nervous and fearful...as something in that is clearly what got him off. He's a sex predator....that's what they do and what they need. I don't expect the NFL to do anything about it, and he will be playing as normal this year.
  11. In Bills Fandom, this sort of thing is common. It's the same thinking that had most of this board thinking "this will finally be our year" each year of the draught. LMAO
  12. One of my favorite pieces of art: "The Famous Four Minutes" by R.G. Smith. That's IJN Akagi burning in the foreground.
  13. Do you mean "Prehistoric Planet" ?? Or is there another one like this out there?
  14. I'm thinking of Ollie North during the Iran/Contra hearings. North would be asked a question; he would be interrupted by his attorney Brendan Sullivan before he said a word. Sullivan would whisper in North's ear for a good 15 to 20 seconds. North would then say to the panel "I don't recall." LMFAO
  15. I was going to say that Peters is--by far--the best Bill to play during the draught era. So he would be my first choice. then maybe peak Mario Williams or peak Marshawn Lynch.
  16. Boy, this really blows. In more ways than one.
  17. Nate Clements hit on Tom Brady? When? I didn't know he was gay.
  18. His entire career has been a disappointment, especially if you factor in where he was drafted. This guy went 8th overall!
  19. I think next year will FINALLY be the first year in a very long time when trying to make the playoffs is a theme of the season...but I expect us to fall short. But not by much. I think we'll keep it interesting most of the year. It's the year after next (2023/2024) when I think we'll solidly be in the playoffs--finally. I hope I'm wrong....I have almost forgotten what a Sabres playoff game looks like.
  20. In all fairness, a constant them running through almost all of the Star Wars movies is terrible dialogue, and poor acting from mostly anonymous actors! I sometimes think George Lucas was looking for that "style" so that it would draw more attention to the special effects aspect of the movies. And yet the movies still rose to be the most successful or wildly popular entertainment property of all time---or at least darned near it. What is more successful or generally popular than Star Wars? And yet there's the acting--most of which is terrible. And the writing is worse. "Rebel scum." LOL
  21. Being a NY Yankee for all those years, I'm sure he is guilty of something and should have been arrested. 😲
  22. You keep stating that he's a meme without actually defining what the meme is supposed to be, at least according to you. What was the meme? I missed that part? If I had to sell Fitz as a meme it would be as the leader and hard work, hard trying guy on a team that was going nowhere, and he knew it...but he still carried his lunch pale to the office every day, which is as "Buffalo Bill" as you can get. You seem to think he was just laughed at because he had a funny beard? Or maybe because he was drafted very low and from a school known for academics but not football? That all just adds to his underdog persona, and makes him that much more of a likable overachiever. I just wish you would actually explain why he doesn't belong on the wall. If you have to call him a "meme" a third time, how about at least explaining what the meme is so we have a shot at understanding what you're trying to say. And no, I'm not arguing for the fun of it; I actually hate arguing with strangers about Bills crap at this forum. I post very little this time of year for that reason, unless it's in the "off the wall" and not about football and not about argument.
  23. Not sure what that means exactly, but it sounds clever. Marino was the more highly ranked of the 2 by anyone who is not a Bills fan. No, he's a lot better in some aspects. He's the best pure passer I've ever seen and no one has ever replicated his ridiculously fast release.
