Too much interesting stuff to digest from the Jets game to move on this quickly, at least for me. I know most here don't want to acknowledge anything negative about the team, ever. For you lot, have fun discussing the Vikings.

I find it incredibly difficult, as a fan, to make legitimate, accurate OC criticism. There is too much we don't know about what leads up to a given play on the field. Picture a terrible play design in a critical situation, and it doesn't work. How do we know what play was actually called? How do we know who did or did NOT do his job on the play? Etc.

I know it hasn't gone well in Indy, but this still kind of surprises me, especially the timing. He'll find jobs forever in this league, but maybe not a HC gig.

I would definitely secure a nice luxury box in the NEW stadium. I live in FL, but I'd try to get up there several times a year for the biggest, most highly anticipated games, and let others use the box when I'm not around. My friends and family will love me forever.

I would love to have that guy, but what I would LOVE to see is us getting rid of smaller/athletic types on the DL and replace them with HUGE bodies. They are out there, but not everyone has them. I feel like you have to have one, especially in the middle. Simply ask him NOT to be moved. Let everyone do everything else around his brick wall.

Every team in the league should automatically assume that level of commitment from the opponent every single week. If we didn't, that's a problem. If we did, we failed to live up to the challenge. Your comment there is a totally lame excuse, and doesn't fly!

Folks here will hate this, but I haven't seen Tom Brady play this poorly in 20 years. If Josh is going to be considered elite of the elite, he simply can't have games that are this bad. I honestly didn't think he had games like this left in him; I thought he has progressed beyond these forever at this stage in his development. Guess not.

I think you'll see that pretty much any loss of this team will result from Josh having a bad game. The whole team lives and dies on his shoulders. It will be that way until his career is over.

Have people forgotten that it's ALL about the QB? Josh played like hot garbage today and we lost. If Mahomes had been as bad, Chiefs would have lost too!

I wrote my "hangover theory" post above before seeing your reply. A claustrophobia type thing might be the explanation, too. It was like Josh had discussed that with the guys before they were shooting, so they kind of knew why he would be getting off the bus when he did. The guy was like "everything OK?" and Josh said something you can't hear, and then he laughed. Like Josh said "I gotta puke" off mic and the guy knew he drank too much the night before or something. The other guy at that moment says "This is Josh's first time ever in Nashville" which I somehow interpreted to mean "Josh had TOO good of a time last night, drank way to much, and is feeling a bit under the weather today, that's why he left the bus to puke." Maybe that's entirely wrong! LOL I don't know. I would not extrapolate ANY of this bus thing to Josh's playing. Though having said that, Josh clearly has a "panic mode" which he enters now and again when things are going badly, and it's at those moments when he does absolutely INSANELY STUPID things that are out of character. I guess he pukes before every game. I just think he gets nervous, maybe to an extreme. But I don't think it's nerves that cause him to have bad games; it's the opposing defense.

OK, I just found the interview and got to the point where Josh leaves the bus. My take is this: Josh is hungover during taping and had to leave the bus to puke. He was unable to puke, and then came back on the bus. That's my interpretation of everything you can see/hear in the video. Notice how the one guy is laughing when he hears Josh say something to him (inaudible to the mic) as he leaves the bus. He didn't seem that concerned, then again, the 2 "hosts" are meat heads. I think it was something like that. Was there a conversation about this at TBD back when that interview was current? What was everyone saying?

Is it possible that Diggs has talent the other guys on the roster don't have, in terms of being able to get open no matter the quality of the defense? The Jets D is the best we have played this year. I am guessing there were NOT a on of open receivers all day long. I don't know, b/c I watched the game on TV, and they choose NOT to show you what receivers are doing downfield, most of the time.

Wait, what? I'm going to go look into that incident. Didn't hear about it.

I wouldn't criticize the decision not to challenge, because a play of that nature is NOT going to be reversed, whatever the outcome actually was as originally called. One of my complaints about McDermott's TERRIBLE challenge history is that he has often foolishly challenged the type of stuff that isn't going to be reversed.

I think it's a function of scheming, yes. If someone is going to say "We need to get Knox more involved as a receiver," it would almost have to be Dorsey, and plays/routes would need to be designed to effect that goal. Now, if Knox started running a bunch of pass routes but could never get open such that Josh never throws him the ball, that would be on Knox. I do not think that's predominantly been the case though.

So you think Josh is running around trying to avoid being sacked, sees one of those receiver options open, and then says to himself: "I'm not going to throw the ball to that guy, I just don't trust him." LOL. That's not how football works.

Keep in mind the Jet are a MUCH better football team than the Rams, this season. LOL. That's just an absurd statement. And wrong to boot.

How do you know he wasn't prepared? How could you know? You can comment on what happened on the field today, but that may or may not have had anything to do with preparation.

You sound like Rex Ryan. He commented on that after a loss when he was HC. I think he felt it was effeminate and a sign of masculine "weakness" that a team ran on us. This is an outdated way to think.

Bulldog going off on some caller right now who says we need to develop a running game. Pretty funny.

I don't think he "sucks" but ultimately I agree with your main points and I think the Bills will too. He is not worth the money he will command and we should move on from him; what more is there to say?

Of course Milano is great, and of course we miss him when he's out. It's not why we lost today though; that's on Josh.
