I have thought about this over the years... With a number of threads (not all) it is actually much more relevant to keep track of things by TIME or DATE, and not SUBJECT. It can make finding some types of information a hell of a lot easier. When it's all piled into 1 giant thread, especially with the amount of garbage in ALL threads here, it make finding timely information almost impossible, or at least very difficult. I think this your basic gripe; I agree with it.

I spoke with Brandon Beane a few moments ago, and he confirmed that yes, that is what they did.

I would be very happy with gone, gone, gone. They are all utterly replaceable, and not very good draft selections. Oliver is the best of the three, but he's too small IMO. I would not have guys like that in the middle of my defensive line. I would only have these monsters that can't be moved, and weigh a natural 350 lbs. And then ask them simply to not move....let the athletes run and work around them.

More than half this board disagrees with you, based on the garbage I see written here all the time. My favorite is that "1 game at a time" crap, as though discussing our 3rd game from now somehow disadvantages the team. LOL

I don't mind John Buccigross. He's a long time, old school, hockey guy who knows the sport. I have no idea who the female was, though she wasn't really bad or that annoying, and Bouch is Bouch. He's kicked around networks for a long time; he's OK, nothing special. A lot of the "big network" announce teams for hockey aren't great. I always used to really DISLIKE Doc Emrick and his whole schtick. As a rule, almost any of the Canadian broadcast teams are great; I enjoy watching Sabres games against Canadian teams with the Canadian broadcast. The road trip we just head out in Western Canada was great for that; Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver announce teams in the span of a few days. Slug was terrible! Agreed! But I just can't take the goat head; I hate that thing. The slug looked like a corporate logo you would see at the top of letterhead stationery. Totally out of place in sports. I just don't like the blue/yellow/white scheme, and never have. Can you imagine painting your living room to look like that? Cheesy and gross. The all black was awesome.

Yes, we have window, it will last a long time as you say. The window closes when Josh is too old to do it, pending finding another stud QB to replace him. I don't think we have a smaller window within Josh's career. As long as he is here, we'll be good and have a shot!

Butz was a Def. Tackle. You talking about the "Hogs" Off. line? Joe Jacoby, Russ Grimm, Ken Huff...an excellent OL.

I'm not going to make a bunch of detailed predictions, but what the hell, I will say this: I think he plays, more than just a little bit, and ends up with a touchdown score. Everyone will be talking all day Sunday, post game, and for a few days later about how he brought a positive to the team and helped out with a score in his maiden game as a Bill. Taking no time to contribute. I truly have that vibe.

Yeah, I'm not worried about that stuff at all. I think it's ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC that we have gone from a completely irrelevant franchise to maybe the most significant/important/talked about franchise in the league. We are now at the center of the action, and a super star like Von beating the OBJ drum only adds to it! If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!

They are by far the best team in the NFC and I expect to see them in the SB, assuming we get past KC first. Playing that game at home will be huge.

If it gets to the point where insurers will not insure low level school athletics, the sport will die. The trend could be that entire school districts will be getting out of football.

They are the class of the NFC; would be great if someone could get rid of them before the big dance. KC is the same; that's it.
