  1. Will be very surprised if we do nothing. May not be a "big" move, but I think we will do something.
  2. Will be very surprised if he's still here next year; he shouldn't be.
  3. It's a shame only 9,000 people got to be at that game. It would have been a lot of fun to attend, and the crowd (that was there) was really rocking, at least by Sabres standards.
  4. Nothing here that isn't true, more or less, and yet everyone attacks you b/c that's how this place is. This forum is becoming unreadable. The Bills have now apparently enjoyed TOO MUCH success for anyone to really want to discuss anything. Any hint that maybe we aren't, by far, the best team in the league is scoffed at as being a "troll" and related idiotic bull####.
  5. That's the thing--the Jets don't have Aaron Rodgers as a QB and that makes a difference.
  6. Maybe this will demonstrate the gap between the two teams more clearly for you, NGBILLS... Bills point differential on the season: +105 Jets: +17 These two teams aren't close in overall quality/skill. Stop looking at records; they can be misleading.
  7. Look at that straight right hand to the jaw! She's a natural. She seems totally unintimidated too. 😂
  8. No guarantees, but it's WAY too early to be talking about that kind of drop-off in performance. Most of what makes a guy elite at that position is mental (in my opinion) and he hasn't lost any of that. I do think there will be a ramp-up time period when he comes back though...let's hope he's "back to normal" by the playoffs or at least the SB. (Yes, I'm trying to think positively here).
  9. I was thinking about that, sort of, during the game last night. I think there is something to that; it was a weird game where it felt like the big blowout was coming. Then it didn't really materialize, and then that weird garbage time lasted forever and the game started to change, while in it. Weird game; easier for the players to focus 100% and put the pedal down in a close, hard fought game. It's like being up 2-0 or 3-0 in a hockey game; sometimes that's the worst---for the team in the lead.
  10. For me, point differential is a better indicator of raw quality than record. And ours has been extremely impressive right from the get-go this year. We are going to end up playing KC, probably in Buffalo, and will have to find a way to beat those bastards. Then we are going to have to find a way to beat Philly in the big dance. Our season likely will rest on those 2 games. Gotta be at our best on those 2 nights.
  11. I thought Gabe had a pretty disappointing game last night, especially the way in which he seemed more interested in fighting after the whistle than catching--and holding onto--the ball. He has to be better--but you can't lean on that single game and say "he's failing". It's hard to judge number of catches or even targets when you have no idea what the plays are, where they are supposed to go, how many passes that DON'T go Gabe's way are on Josh, etc. I would like to see him catch more, but that could be on the OC.
  12. I have it recorded, but have not seen it a second time yet. I do remember clearly watching a LOT of Bills tacklers simply failing to make the stop on first contact. I would call it sloppy tackling as much as anything. Honestly, we are not used to playing that type of football game; we are built to shut down elite passing offenses. GB went 1980s on us and I think it caught a lot of the D off guard. Maybe they need to do more tackling drills. I don't know.
  13. No we haven't set the bar too high. You have to accept--and embrace--the pressure and stress of this moment. We are as good a team as there is in the NFL this season, and anything less than a SB victory will feel like a let down on some level. Doesn't mean we should expect to win the SB! That's hard! But our entire season will come down to how we actually play for 4 quarters in just a FEW games in the post-season, especially if we get that first week bye as it looks like we will. It's a pretty short and direct route to the SB for a team like us this year. Gotta play our best ball when it matters most. If we do that, we'll win.
  14. Yeah, especially if you are white trash from Podunk, NY, like 45 miles outside of Buffalo...which seems to be about 90% of our fanbase. Does no one out at the games actually live in the city?
  15. Let animals be animals, and go with it. No thanks, that's why we have this thing called "civilization". I'd rather let the animals learn how to behave in public, and if they can't do that, don't come to the games.
  16. If it keeps "fans like that" from attending, there won't be many people at the games. That's based on my 40 year career of going to Bills games. The scene out there is pretty disgusting and gets worse all the time. I have seen fans in the stadium literally at the point of being black out drunk---and then BLACKING OUT----BEFORE THE OPENING KICKOFF.... Huge mobs of human trash are a problem at ALL NFL STADIUMS. It's been fairly well documented. One of the worst is DC.
  17. How in the world do you know what his attitude is? Can you determine his favorite color and lucky number by watching him play football too?
  18. It already has. There has been a growing amount of national media pieces on precisely this--that the Bills offer a unique home game experience worth traveling to see. Have you not seen this stuff? It's everywhere.
  19. I would imagine they already know his MRI results, as I would hope that was done early in the AM. Is there a known scheduled time for the MRI? Keep at it laddy! All you need is one "hit," if she's the right one. Remember that.
  20. It's worth remembering right now that Damar Hamlin has been extremely impressive, at least in my opinion. He was a captain at Pitt and this kid is a baller.
  21. This is sort of the "moving back to the big picture" post...and really this spot on. The disappointment some feel about aspects of the game last night really comes from the fact that we are not just good, but we are awesome, and we were expecting more from last night. The fact that we can play that poorly and do that many things wrong and still beat a team with Aaron Rodgers shows you the talent level of this team. It reminds me of the Rams game with our 4 turnovers and we still pounded the snot out of them.
  22. We won't win if he has a terrible single half like that...if it's in the playoffs against a strong team on top of its game....which you have to assume will be the case. The season will ultimately come down to how well we string 4 quarters together, just a few times, in the post-season. Let's hope we save our best for when we need it most. Of note: Allen was basically "perfect" last year in both our playoff games.
  23. If we play a half-game like this in the playoffs against a strong team, our season will be over. So sure, this type of game could derail our season.
  24. Whether we need it or not, hang in there. We are going to sign OBJ.
  25. Yeah but this isn't last year. This year, GB is not a playoff team. Sloppy game, but better to do it tonight and get a W. A "half game" like that in the playoffs against a GOOD team ends our season. Learn from it now!
