  1. Agreed. Charles Clay was a game changer when healthy as well. He was never healthy. Result : his NFL career worked out exceedingly well... for him.
  2. yeah it'll probably take the Giants 20 more years to figure it out, just like the Bi..s..... wait
  3. same. cancers on that team gonna show up big time as soon as they lose a couple, happens every time a team goes big in FA with divas
  4. I would imagine Coverage in the CFL is weak, leading to bad habits in the WRs that NFL corners exploit. Can't think of many CFL guys who make it in the NFL, esp WR.
  5. No. We have return guys now and WRs. I don't see him making it.
  6. yeah, just update the Ralph. Can't be that hard.
  7. using "to" instead of "too" is going too far
  8. The only ranking that matters in the NFL is wins and losses. I'm all for 100 man rosters and 25 game seasons. This offseason 6 months of media talking head ranking crap is garbage.
  9. I thought about it for a while. I like it. Even having to play the backup QB a couple times gives them exposure, which to me is kind of intriguing. Love the idea of getting second teamers more reps. Teams like the Bills need to be developing players constantly as the draft is key. I like the way the owners are calling the players bluff. 18 real games that count? Sure. No preseason? Excellent. Season starts earlier? Great. I'm in.
  10. one of my fondest Bills game memories is the Jax game Flutie walkoff TD, but he is a smaller Tyrod Taylor . super exciting, etc etc, but not gonna get you to the promised land in today's NFL. In today's NFL, you need a complete team, No. 1 , plus a big mobile decision maker at QB. If you don't have both of these things, enough teams will have exploited your weaknesses enough times to keep you out of the Big Game. BTW, Seahawks haven't done much since the non-Wilson parts of the team fell apart.
  11. that is the correct spelling . spell it with two n's in Ireland (where the name comes from) and they think you're an idiot (or an american) .
  12. tough decision . they have slot receiver and returner covered already. I doubt he is much on ST, so doesn't look good for him , unless they keep 6 WRs, which I doubt, as I am pretty sure they will keep at least 3 TEs . we shall see
  13. Injured, expensive shiny object. Pass. Trust the process.
  14. well, he , along with the Alabama LB whose name I've already forgotten (he's in KC now) were bigger, slower, boomers drafted into a completely different defense to play completely different roles than they are asked to play in a Les Frazier / McD high penetration, quickness emphasizing 4-3 . So, IMO , no way Lawson is kept unless he magically morphs into a edge rusher by growing 20 lbs of fast twitch musculature, which he won't . Lawson is a great reason why you need to find and stick with a solid GM/coaching scheme combinations for at least 5 years. It takes 2-3 years to rebuild the roster (esp defense) to fit the scheme. If you don't have the right players to fit the scheme, offenses with great QBs and OCs will absolutely find the mismatches and exploit them. and you'll lose that extra 3-4 games a season that keep you out of the playoffs. my two cents. trust the process
  15. definately a unicorn. perfect body for the long jump... must be a bunch of 20 year olds with a better shot than him at this point tho. But track guys are always going to be track guys
  16. yes it is. no chasing shiny objects (players or coaches), build through the draft, have courage and get a little lucky. McBeanes know what they are doing. Now injuries could trash it all , but so far , so good
  17. good for them. the curse is in now. now they have no chance at all. The Ol-ine will go down with multiple surgeries month 1 and that will be that. book it.
  18. The Bills are so far out of the national media at this point, I would contend most average general sports fans of all ages (not saying she's one of those, she seems to be an NFL fan in particular) don't realize there is even a franchise in buffalo. Kind of like a general sports fan in florida probably easily overlooks the fact there is an NHL franchise in Arizona, or Calgary. that kind of thing. the Bills are a non-entity from a general media standpoint. as if they don't exist. McBeanes are working on that. Trust the Process.
  19. we he certainly got this board's attention. mission accomplished from his standpoint. Minutes of life you won't get back for board members.
  20. that kind of money really turns me off to the game... I'll follow and all, but that is ridiculous.
