  1. The happiest guy today that 'lil Steve took the GIF heat off of him...
  2. @PatsFanNH, I will say I was more impressed than I expected I would be with Jones' composure and handling of a pressure packed moment against his predecessor--he also delivered some good throws along the way, no question. However, playing in the same division as Allen will be hard to ever overcome with regularity, as I think Allen will maintain a higher overall performance ceiling. I know it's early, but unless Mac turns into Brady...
  3. So time for a bump on this one...as I stand corrected: https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/04/entertainment/william-shatner-blue-origin-space-mission/index.html
  4. Given the whole shift league-wide to favoring scoring offenses vis a vis rules changes through the years and penalty points of emphasis (easy DPI's, roughing passer, etc.), makes this even more impressive than the other teams mentioned, imho...
  5. Yet in previous years/regimes we've consistently struggled to convincingly beat the garbage teams we're supposed to, so it's nice to see us actually do what we're supposed to, and then some (minus only the Pittsburgh opener). Now hopefully we are also ready to smack KC in the mouth and never look back!
  6. I couldn't help but think every time Brady rolled right or otherwise threw a fluttering pass while on the run, about how much better Josh looks in the same spots, throwing with authority and accuracy...yes, Brady did complete a few of those, but that was never a given during the night (I get that the rain also didn't help).
  7. I appreciate your sober take/analysis of the Chiefs going into this game, and gives fans like me some "inside" perspective for things to specifically watch for from the other side. I think the Bills' main issue (besides getting a stop or 2 on D), is getting out of their own heads and having the right mental focus & avoid the "here we go again" mindset if they have a negative play--if they can do that, the game's then there for the taking.
  8. Say what you will, but McDonalds coffee is shockingly excellent!
  9. Josh going all “humble and hungry” process right there! 🤠
  10. That would prolly force the NFL to reimpose the crowd noise unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the 12th man—remember that ‘90 Elway comeback fumble game where we scored like 3 x in 77 seconds? The crowd was a huge factor in that game.
  11. It takes a lot of effort/energy to maintain close friendships, and the older I get the more I’m focused on my immediate family/kids which doesn’t leave much for anyone else—it’s actually easier keeping up with you all on this board than folks IRL from years ago 😁, plus I never bothered to set up FB & the like. I stay in touch with a handful of friends from college now and then, that’s about it.
  12. Mr. Ed—groundbreaking species crossover sitcom comedy!
  13. Hey, I’m 43 and can still beat my 8 yr old in any tag type games—so yah, life is good
  14. “Kelly 12 Tough” for life!! Love you big guy, and yes, he’s looking great for everything he’s been through lately!
  15. That immediately reminded me of the classic Chris Farley SNL gem...
  16. We all know BB loves to push the envelope when looking for competitive advantages wherever he can find them (whether formation shifts, Spygate, Deflategate, bugging Manning's locker rooms, etc.) but some of the reactions to this story about Brady's health coming into Sunday night's hotly anticipated Foxboro reunion special, seem to have gone next level, even for the mercurial Hoodie. What say you? https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/tom-brady-sounds-extremely-sick-and-he-doesn-t-know-why-very-strange/ar-AAP0CzL https://www.mediaite.com/sports/fans-freak-out-as-tom-brady-appears-noticeably-sick-before-clash-with-patriots-belichick-resorting-to-biological-warfare/ (Mods, if this is already being discussed elsewhere, please merge or delete--did a cursory search and did not see it yet)
  17. I think Culley’s definition of opening things up for his rookie QB will consist of sprinkling in some screen passes on 2nd down instead of 3rd down, but the results will mirror their game against Carolina—a scrappy outing with the first 10 minutes being that minus the “s” before Mills finds a semi groove of 5-8 yard rhythm passes that results in at least a couple short FG’s by the half. Possibly one TD drive somewhere in the 3rd Q. Mills hangs tough and doesn’t turn the ball over, but also can’t generate nearly enough momentum for more. Meanwhile, Josh continues his savage takedown of all Bills passing records and builds a 3 TD lead by halftime, with the Bills coasting thereafter so as not to embarrass Culley & Co too too bad, and Mitch plays the entire 4th. 38-13 Buffalo.
  18. Cody Ford finds his feet & a backbone this week?🧐 Yes! Yes he does!!!
  19. Appreciate all the time/work you put j to this OP, thank you!
