  1. What will be the disclaimer when the Bills win the SB this year? 🧐 That it was on the strength of our run defense?
  2. Well, I will say OP, that Kelly won more consecutive AFC championships back to back than Brady ever did…oh, and neither Moon, Elway, Marino nor Montana ever made it past the Kelly led Bills in the playoffs FWIW…Kelly also called his own plays as an offensive system that to my knowledge Brady even in his prime never did full time…Kelly broke a defender’s leg once, Brady broke a nail maybe? 🤔
  3. Bingo Donuts—why does the schedule automatically hurt only us? Aren’t the other guys the ones who need to knock their W-L record projections down a peg based on the fact BUFFALO is on their schedule? 🧐
  4. Nope, it’s generic sister the Mercury Sable. 💰😉
  5. Garbage scores—the Steelers actually never threatened in this one given the cushion the Bills put up. Done Beebe earned his “Steelers Killer” moniker this game deservedly so—4 scores off plays Kelly was literally by the end of it drawing up in the dirt like backyard ball?
  6. Growing up in Stiller country, this remains one of my fondest football memories ever—getting on the school bus the next morning and finally hearing exactly peep from all my normally loudmouthed Steeler fan friends who still looked shell-shocked? Priceless. By the way, if you know who Myron Cope was, rest his soul, his color commentary during that game on the Steelers radio call was one for the ages. Absolute gold. Highlights included his wondering if the Steelers CB’s including All-Pro Rod Woodson had forgotten to get off the bus given how invisible the pass D was against Kelly, who was “just playing catch out there, ooohm-ha”, or whether they thought it was still warmups and missed the fact the game had started, etc. I haven’t been able to track it down yet, but when I do, best believe a follow up thread to this one will be happening . Go Bills!!!!!!!!

  8. And yet, injuries including at the QB position are a fact of life, and those teams who have cultivated some decent depth will be unquestionably better off when the time comes…see Bills with Trubisky, who arguably will be a starter again next year somewhere. Hostetler & Foles even won Super Bowls as backups who had to step in during those years—to say nothing of Reich, who engineered the greatest comeback in NFL history as a career backup…
  9. Didn’t Vontae say something similar to this before halftime?
  10. Clearly you’re forgetting about Taiwan “Swiss Army Knife” Jones? 🧐 😉
  11. Would it be remiss to leave off Vinny Testaverde from Miami's column?
  12. Part of our home field advantage has always been the noise generated by the 12th man of course, and am just wondering what the acoustics engineering will look like to still be able to retain current levels (hopefully) even with less total fans in the stands? The Falcons solved their "decibel woes" a few years back by other means, but we don't want to stoop to that. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/02/01/report-falcons-alleged-to-have-piped-in-crowd-noise-nfl-discipline-expected/
  13. Don’t know your age Pats Fan, but every fanbase should at least taste QB purgatory for several years in order to really appreciate when you’ve got something special going—you’re due for the former, is all I’m saying.
  14. Don’t care to look it up, it’s the Pats after all, but who’s even left over there to backup the rookie now?
  15. Presumably the Jests will still Jest regardless of which division they inhabit? 🧐
  16. Only if he brings his burner twitters with him for entertainment purposes?
  17. Normally flows south to north however? 🧐 As much as I don’t like letting him go, Beane has more than earned benefit of the doubt though.
  18. Spot on OP, have had similar musings—not too worried about Sanders elbowing Gabe out though, as it’s clear the Bills (Josh) will keep feeding him the ball and Sanders’ age makes this feel more like a James Lofton type signing that helps the team out in the short term, while Davis is solidly long term here. Future is definitely bright for this kid!
  19. Oh sorry, didn’t recall KB ever turning...🥴
  20. Josh just flat out commands this offense like the boss that he is. Full command, surgical strikes at any distance, just makes it all look too easy anymore. His play simply won’t be fair this year for the defenses facing him.
  21. After this little incident, McD finally determined that Rico, affectionately nicknamed “uncle” in the locker room, just wasn’t a process kind of guy…
