  1. Ironically however. 3rd rd pick Mills had a better outing than pretty much all of the 1st rd rookie QB’s last week… https://texanswire.usatoday.com/lists/texans-davis-mills-rookie-qbs-week-3/ It’s nice to have my genius be appreciated…
  2. One-up time…
  3. Let me give this a shot: -Brady is declared a game time scratch with a sore 44 yr old shoulder, and the Bucs backup QB Gabbert performs so well in the 60-0 first half beat down of Belichick, that Arians decides he has no choice but to start him from now on (Brady pouts on the sidelines for the next few weeks, then retires when he can’t win his job back). Meanwhile, Belichick is fired at halftime for telling Kraft to get out of “his” locker room, and the Bills are awarded a compensatory draft pick in all the hubbub.
  4. Oh, well when you put it like that…
  5. Except that we've all played the same total number of games to date...?
  6. Thanks OP, always look forward to your review of the action!
  7. Thanks OP for another excellent post-game wrap for us. Couldn't agree more with your take re Dawson Knox--he's making the majority of hot takes found in the voluminous Ertz threads appear short-sighted and woefully out of touch with reality. Good on him for putting in the effort just like Josh himself, to significantly improve his game one year to the next.
  8. Perhaps this is the week Milano finally buys some furniture for his place? 🧐 https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/bills-linebacker-matt-milano-man-of-few-possessions-and-much-promise/article_92246ebd-261c-50e5-858c-5aa3ec91c774.html
  9. 78 points for over the last 2 weeks…let that sink in for a minute…isn’t that like 2 seasons worth of points during the best of Jauron-ball?
  10. Edmunds: “I got the gameball!” “No, you’re just assisting me in giving out the gameball…”
  11. One of my favs…this was a statement game for us during our last SB season run, and yes, I guess we could call it the revenge on Rypien game, as we harried him all night and wrecked their D in the first quarter especially—as a kid I had this game taped on VHS and replayed Kelly’s TD passes over and over, with the MNF crew fawning over the Bills…good times!!!
  12. Talk to me again when this guy’s gone. (But answer will prolly stay the same. )
  13. Bills 30, WFT 10. Josh throws for 3 TD’s early inside of an improved passing attack and Bass gets to show off his range and accuracy for the rest.
  14. Yikes—Carolina feeling their oats now The TOP difference has to be significant
  15. See Culley? That’s what happens when you play just not to lose…
  16. Agree that Culley is a terrible in-game coach this year—a robot programmed to coach right out of the ultra conservative playbook of yesteryear would be indistinguishable unfortunately for the Texans
  17. In for the reds (helmet, that is)…at this point I’d settle for a throwback 90’s week or 2 per year, is even that too much to ask? 😁
  18. The Doogie Howser of color commentators!!
  19. I hear that. You’ll have to take my word for it that right after this Minnie showing out, I ordered my first Allen jersey—I was sold. Granted, there were still plenty of bumps to come, especially with that atrocious talent around him (this was the take your lumps Whaley dead cap $$ season) but the signs were hopeful!
  20. Great additional point re Vontae’s halftime surrender flag the week prior—definitely a low point for us around here…made this out of nowhere crushing of the mighty Vikes that much sweeter! Side note: was the Vontae game the same one McD took over play calling duties for Leslie at halftime also?
  21. Nope, that would be the infamous OP thread a few back declaring Brady/NE deserving of another SB ring because they’ve ‘gone about it the right way’, or some such…
  22. 9/23/18. I’ll never forget it. My youngest born that day (lamp disclaimer), and, oh yeah, Josh Allen did this: and a little bit of this: And of course lotsa this: A few points to ponder—the Bills entered this game as 16.5 dogs…one of Josh’s 1st real road starts after taking over for Peterman…Bills with not a prayer of winning this game per the pundits…example here: “The Buffalo Bills are simply an awful football team right now and there’s no getting around it. I doubt anything changes with their quarterback situation on the road against one of the best, most aggressive defenses in the league. Cousins is also starting to get comfortable with his new offense, so the Vikings are quickly becoming a confident, balanced football team. The Minnesota Vikings are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games as a double-digit favorite. The Buffalo Bills have covered just two of their last seven games as a double-digit underdog. Everybody knows I’m not the chalk guy and try my best to avoid monster numbers whenever I can. I honestly wouldn’t touch this game, but if forced to pick, I’m more confident in a Vikings’ blowout than I am in the Bills hanging around. The Bills have shown us little to nothing two games into the season and are playing the best team they’ve faced yet.” https://sportschatplace.com/nfl-picks/2018/09/23/buffalo-bills-at-minnesota-vikings-9-23-18-nfl-pick-odds-and-prediction/ And yet, the impossible happened. Game highlights here, worth the extra click into YouTube…Njoy a blast from the past and consider how fortunate we really are to have Josh Allen as our QB today.
  23. Bills rookie rushers took the coach literally when he said, “go out there and hit him into next week”
