This news brought me a rueful chuckle which is great on a Bills loss Monday!

Like Wood said in the broadcast today, timely screens are an OL’s best friend when getting turnstiled, to take advantage of the D’s early and easy pocket crashes…maybe expand on this part of Singletary’s game? I know he caught a few today, but something’s gotta give from a schematic adjustments standpoint to help cover up our line play…

Even the 90’s Bills that routinely ran roughshod across the regular seasons, had a complete throw away the tape type clunkers now and then—heck I attended one of them, a Primetime beat down by the Stillers on MNF in 1993 (we still make the SB, they didn’t), or the annual shocking losses to terrible Pats teams…the point is, we can still right the course if the correct coaching fixes occur, imho.

The worst part about this loss is going to be Nick Wright.

I really like Pat McAfee, find him incredibly entertaining etc., but this fawning interview was painful in how obviously Pat was walking on eggshells not to step on Aaron’s toes in anyway or call him out on his obfuscating B.S., imho.

Making himself out to now be a martyr is what bothers me, when he did not have the gonads to actually state his beliefs at the time of the PC in late August—now today claiming that, “if there’d been a follow up question” I would have provided all of this additional contextual information about my beliefs is bogus, imho. You lied, got called out, and now have 3 pages of lawyer-speak notes to bring after the fact…all of the rest is immaterial at this point.

Agreed; the biggest clue to the plan was that the Bills decided to take their dead money cap hits medicine all in one gulp—something like 50-60 mill IIRC; which of course necessarily limited our roster that season but in hindsight was the right call in rebuilding as quickly as possible from the Whaley/Ryan duds…

Indeed; some would say living there “once” is enough!
