  1. I'd be a little worried about their expiration date though--when was the last time you checked?
  2. And is all of that worth reg. season price points?
  3. Neither has anyone else in the East outside of the Pats. I like our chances this year. I dunno, maybe I'm hitting the ol' smelling salts a little too much?
  4. The reason: 2018's version of the offensive line playing incredibly offensive in front of Josh:
  5. FIFY. I'm not doubting in the slightest this will happen for us this year plenty more than last! JA really can't do much else beyond what he's shown us so far since the 2nd half of last season through today, to convince that the Bills are primed for a breakout in the East & beyond, imho. And the FO has done its part to help out with the foundational pieces brought in.
  6. Even tho it’s just preseason, I’m stoked for gameday my homies! Our relentless march back to football relevancy continues with ongoing battles to determine WR/TE depth positions, and want to see the lines continue to gel and show us what’s still possible even without Morse. Also, anytime we face anyone from the Belichick coaching tree on the other side, we need to come at them with some juice—turn up Patricia’s hot seat some more!
  7. Well there goes my idea to mess with with the UHF tuner as a workaround!
  8. Agreed. And if Gruden is not back on the NP train, he sure has a funny way of showing it. “I like Peterman, I’ve said that for a while now,” Gruden said. “Thought he had two touchdown passes dropped today that were right on the money, thought he had a couple other balls that were dropped right on the money. Took care of the ball, didn’t turn it over throughout the preseason. He’s athletic. I like what he did tonight, especially late in the football game.” https://www.sfchronicle.com/raiders/article/Raiders-beat-Packers-22-21-on-a-shortened-field-14372329.php
  9. You sure about that? https://www.sfgate.com/raiders/article/Nathan-Peterman-Jon-Gruden-Winnipeg-field-Packers-14372346.php
  10. I don’t know if Flores survives this year either way—regardless of expectations. He’s going to want to at least keep the games competitive. So glad we’re looking in the rear view mirror on this type of QB uncertainty issue!
  11. ^^^one of the most logical and well reasoned takes on NP I’ve read here, pretty much ever. Post of the day (night). Carry on!
  12. I’m with you—but I don’t think you can be that obvious about it as a coaching staff, at least not when everyone starts out the season tied for 1st place in the division. Let hope spring eternal for at least the first 3 weeks or so. Which speaks volumes about the confidence Rosen engenders coming in behind Fitzy!
  13. Um, Gruden and the rest of Raider nation wondering how this reclamation project is going to go—I’m happy for the kid, hope he ends up proving all of us naysayers wrong, lock in the backup QB spot because that would make for some good popcorn munching TV viewing if he ever needs to get in a game this year.
  14. I don’t disagree with you from a strategic long term standpoint; however, the dichotomy is that you at least have to pretend to be trying to win each game for your fanbase, which makes Fitz the better suited short term win one game this week answer over Rosen, I think that’s why. Once Fitzy bottoms out, then seamless logical transition to “right” Josh.
  15. Taking over for Frazier to call D play calls at halftime comes to mind early last year, with immediate dividends paid. That’s not enough in-game adjustment for you? Or how about the fact that he never lost his team’s confidence/control, despite early season blowouts (due in no small part to scotch taped offense), with the team actually bouncing back quite nicely down the stretch? At the same time saddled with 50+ mill of dead cap $$ hamstringing the roster quality? Who would’ve done a better job under those thankless circumstances? Who? Sure he started NP—most of the board would’ve too, based on his Thursday All-American performances in the preseason where he frankly played so lights out he had to be the starter. The dude won a 3-way QB competition fair and square. The fact he wilted when the lights clicked on was dealt with quickly and the regime has owned its mistakes. For my money McD has done remarkably well with what he’s been given, he’s developed talent from the unlikeliest sources and we are poised for greatness now as a result of everything that’s led up to this point.
  16. Glad that Allen had the opportunity and took it, to soak up the insights from a long term vet like DA. Wish him all the best in retirement and a full recovery!
  17. This would basically render my AC unit superfluous—I mean really, what’s the point at that point? Might as well keep the windows open 24/7. At least then an occasional breeze may, just may, flutter through. How about we match the temps of Congress’ Thermostats instead?
  18. I see a bird--I get the rabbit, with some effort, but the "ears" just don't look right, imho.
  19. Bulletin Board Material.
  20. This guy had it right--living in areas shunned by the rest of civilization should take care of avoiding any social unpleasantries!
  21. Hmmm...that house was built on the sand, in more ways than one however.
  22. Matt Patricia is sharpening his pencils for battle as we speak.
  23. Ruh-Roh--Harry is not wearing Nike out in public! Scandalous I say.
  24. Maybe that kid from Foxboro High down the street from Gillette who's supposedly better than Tom Brady (per reports from Belichick's film study sessions?) is ready to compete with Tyree for this coveted 4th game? Pray he's available. https://www.si.com/mmqb/2017/02/21/nfl-tom-brady-new-england-patriots-johnny-foxborough-mark-clagg-foxborough-warriors
