  1. Won’t answer the OP’s question unfortunately, but just had to LAMP a bit and say the tecmo franchise provided me with some of my fav childhood video game memories of all time—and yes, the Bills were basically unstoppable by physical means.
  2. I hear ya. But just a hop skip and a jump until college football starts, and from there just another hop and 2 skips and we are there bro!!
  3. Long enough to know the difference between poser regimes, QB’s and coaches, versus the real deal of the 90’s run. This is as the OP observes, different indeed.
  4. Agree totally. Going 9/11 against the Panthers including 5/5 targets to Beasley, bodes well for that prediction already, at least in terms of his mindset! (I know, I know, preseason--but I'd rather be trying to downplay good preseason play than justify a poor showing)
  5. I find that Mrs. Dash can usually provide a bit of that, in low sodium options too!
  6. I would be sad I had to go to work for an accursed grinch of a franchise that stole the hopes/dreams of '92-93 Bills fans everywhere. Carry on.
  7. Donuts--no worries... Will Morse even be back in time to be cleared for preseason action? That's some low-hanging fruit right there in terms of needing to be bubble wrapped as much as Hyacinth Bucket's Royal Doulton with the handpainted Periwinkles! (Extra point if you get the reference without having to google it, lol).
  8. I remember him back in the BN days referencing some dude at the local watering hole (can’t remember his name) for his “man on the street” type take on how things were going periodically, and during the magic Fitzy run he was optimistic more so than not, IIRC. But yes, normally a negative nellie, so this is out of character for sure.
  9. Great call by McD. Small investment relatively speaking, that should pay off in bonding dividends down the road/goodwill towards the team. Will we get to see this road trip on the next Embedded episode? That’s why he’s coach and we’re not—skills!!
  10. Lol. Just bought some Bills Zubaz sweats for cheap on EBay (find that’s a great place for deals on Bills gear period)—my wife thinks I’m nuts to want to wear something like that in public.
  11. Have been FF sober for a few years now—this Bills roster iteration is tempting me greatly to jump back in. Part of the reason I left was I was tired of being forced to “root” for players possibly playing against the Bills on any given Sunday—if I draft all Bills then problem solved .
  12. Chin up Ice, just pop in the SB years’ highlight tapes from NFL Films, and you’ll be right as rain anytime you need during this season. And thanks for the vote of confidence for the Bills this year.
  13. I agree with you, I could care less about a player’s politics, but please don’t try to shove any politics down my throat while you’re playing for my team. I’m not watching for the politics—actually quite the opposite in fact. As for RI, I wouldn’t want him back either, even though I liked him as a player. He’s demonstrated his marbles are questionable one too many times.
  14. Sorry, it was reflexive on my part to take that as the inference given your stated expectation that the Jets would be better than Buffalo this year. I’ll stand corrected for now, but let’s revisit after Week 1.
  15. And? That’s different from last year’s looks to rattle a rookie how? Allen will be just fine, imho.
  16. I agree totally. I just think that it’s odd that the reverse isn’t necessarily also true—the guys that shine in a real game can’t always adjust to a weaker D attack in front of them? Just an observation I find strange.
  17. It’s just so weird that other QB’s obviously better than him in reg season can’t duplicate his preseason form against the same unschemed vanilla defenses.
  18. Like 8/8 his last time out? Preseason All Pro/MVP. At this rate Gruden may yank the rug out from under Carr!
  19. Bernie Kosar perfected that move!
  20. Cheetah that he is, I'm sure he will pick his moments again this year to make middle LB's look silly. However, I really hope to see significantly higher passing yardage to marry it up with, as that will mean when he does run, it's regularly in open space and less likelihood of serious injury.
  21. I'm guessing it's the fault of Iron City or Iron City Light on this one. That's local to Pittsburgh, although an honorable mention might be Rolling Rock?
  22. What pearls of wisdom did this caller attempt to communicate on the sauce? Inquiring minds want to know!
  23. The Peterman thread called, and needed to report a stolen awards certificate matching this description...
  24. ^^^^This. Like him as a player for the most part, but He does seem to have an issue handling adversity in a mature way? Will never forget the SB postgame presser—not much better than Lynch’s “I’m just here so I don’t get fined” gem.
