  1. Was that because of the asking price or the Bills just don't think he would fit what they're building over here? Seems odd if it's the latter.
  2. I don’t follow the Colts so I missed this—I’m on to the Jets!
  3. Very practical. The older I get, the more that outweighs fashion considerations lol
  4. Running = sport. Track/Field events have to be Title IX compliant at public institutions, and training for a marathon event could hardly be described as a lesser type activity, imho.
  5. Sorry man, you know I couldn’t let that go, right? XXV—what exactly would Marino have done differently against a Giants O that ate up the clock since our D never came off the field? Kelly was serviceable and drove us to potential game winner FG; for XXVI I’d agree he had bad game, despite 2 TDs late; XXVII he was hurt early by that cheap shot Norton Jr going after his knees (in today’s NFL prob ejected for it) and it was up to Reich; XXVIII was actually a decent outing—Beebe should’ve held on to a deep strike TD early, and Thurman probably most to blame for turning that game with his fumble in 3Q. But most importantly, Marino had multiple chances to be the guy in those SB’s and could not ever beat Kelly to get there, so there’s that. And how did his own SB appearance turn out in 84?
  6. Oh without a doubt! I rocked that waiver wire every Tuesday lol. But that’s part of it, for me it wasn’t a good fit with my personality, and I see that now on the other side. It’s fine for a lot of others tho.
  7. Reich's a straight up good dude, and I have little doubt he has what it takes to keep that team on track, apart from that. Best backup QB of all time!
  8. My life after going sober from fantasy football has been less stressed and plain old more enjoyable as a fan. FF takes away from being a fan of only one team, imho.
  9. A move first perfected in super tecmo bowl!
  10. Maybe this news will encourage Favre to unretire and make it a package deal?
  11. I’d rather watch water struggling to finally boil.
  12. What a joke—part of his job description is knowing the personnel side inside and out, and what, you mean to tell me if the news had been Luck’s been surprise cut instead of retiring, and Bill as the Pats FO decisionmaker is left as the only NFL guy who didn’t hear about that? Bush league statement to make, imho.
  13. And parlayed his chances into becoming the first NFL QB to lose a game in 3 countries! I don’t think EJ deserves a lot of tears over his spilt milk anyway, imho.
  14. For sure! https://www.google.com/amp/s/billswire.usatoday.com/2017/01/23/top-11-free-agent-signings-in-buffalo-bills-history/amp/
  15. Good points—but I doubt the brain trust in Indy is spending too much time in self reflection over terrible Olines of yesteryear—if they were that sensitive about that, then they would’ve addressed it sooner in his career for his sake, imho.
  16. Well, not to make too fine a point of it, but note that so long as we remain strapped in by our ski boots, we should never be able to get out too far over our skis . I think at 10 wins we become likely playoff bound—upgrades at WR and OL alone, provided we stay reasonably healthy in the reg season, should be good for 4+more wins over last year, imho.
  17. Anyone capable of maintaining standing balance on an equine mobile platform should also have what it takes to obtain superior leverage at the point of attack on most plays. Color me unconcerned. This kid was salivated over by plenty of teams behind us, for good reason!
  18. Stunning news in one way, and yet not so stunning considering his injury history—sure am glad he doesn’t play for the Bills though! I could only imagine the Boards if this was happening to us right now, lol.
  19. Just think what his conditioning would be if he’d made it all the way to the top of that mountain he was hiking on one of the “Embedded” episodes this year, instead of bailing halfway through! As for OP’s point, definitely Josh for me this year—I think we’re in for some good stuff as soon as the bullets are real!
  20. Glad to have this column back—don’t always agree with all of it but you put a lot of effort/time into it and it is much appreciated!
  21. Good calls or not, so many flags just flat out ruin the watching experience
  22. But I took heart with the 2 minute drive, good way to bounce back. They’ll be just fine
  23. He’s just mad his name is Thad instead of Josh.
