  1. I have no doubt that a lot of his maturity on and off the field stem from his home life growing up with a special needs brother after that horrific accident covered in a separate thread about Morse's background, and being able to put the daily grind of life in perspective as a result. Wish him all the best going forward, and that the Bills benefit tangibly from having him as our line anchor!
  2. @Kirby Jackson, you say you already feel vindicated, so what's the point of 'forcing' other members here to tell you first that you are the smartest guy in the room about Peterman, including over the heads of coaches in the NFL, in order to stop with the constant drumbeat? @JohnC would simply like to let it ride until NP's retirement papers have been filed with the league office, such that there is still a chapter left to be written. What's so bad about that? In fact, if you're right, any additional appearances by NP on the field will only solidify your predictive bona fides, no? The point is, I've observed your many good/great contributions to this forum, and those should stand on their own merit, no need to jackhammer the past about NP in Buffalo, an additional 6 feet under the 6 it's already buried in, just because JohnC doesn't want to say "uncle." You're better than that.
  3. Glad we’re so comfortable sharing personal hygiene realities now . But I still choose to plead the Fizif! https://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/dave-chappelle-i-plead-the-fif/81460739/
  4. Is anyone really all that shocked after Gruden basically kicked off NP's NFL career with this segment? He's always liked him, and feels like he can fix Nate, clearly.
  5. C'mon now, with sweet dropback moves like this, Uncle Rico is clearly somewhere between EJ and You, not after You!
  6. Schopp just fixed it for ya .
  7. FWIW, I think Ryan Leaf would love to quibble with you in terms of single game disasters Rk Date G# Age Tm Opp Result Cmp Att Cmp% Yds TD Int Rate Sk Yds Y/A 3 1998-09-20 3 22.128 SDG @ KAN L 7-23 1 15 6.67 4 0 2 0.0 2 23 0.27
  8. That's going to be an unpopular take around here. However, it is thoughtful and well-reasoned nonetheless.
  9. Dunno, but maybe still licking his wounds from being the first QB to lose an NFL game in 3 different countries? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000567190/article/ej-manuel-first-starting-qb-to-lose-in-three-countries
  10. If he earns the right to play based on outperforming the competition in camp, well, then the fates have conspired to let him try his luck again in a real game. If he learns not to throw the out pass, and sticks with quick slants near the LOS, Gruden may just walk away with an even bigger ego for having 'solved' the NP Rubik's Cube. If nothing else, this will be compelling TV to watch unfold, imho.
  11. The kid can flat out ball in TC!
  12. Combined with the bad-look pic from yesterday showing somebody literally holding him in the right position mechanics to hold/release the ball, and you have to wonder whether the scouts sent to watch him pre-draft decided to ditch that assignment in favor of eating at an In n Out Burger all day? Mmmmm.....burgers
  13. Good for you Right Josh! Next week we can start learning how to count # of free defenders on a blitz...
  14. OP, don’t be this guy
  15. "When the Bills have your number..." ROFL.
  16. About to turn 41 later this week, and for sure don't consider myself a millennial. Wouldn't it make more sense to make the dividing line those who remember life even pre-dial up internet vs. learning how to read on an Ipad?
  17. Just stay away from Heinz field! Drunk Steelers fans are incredibly insufferable. I can say that, I'm related to a few.
  18. Biggest LOL quote for me from this article: "You know, if you’re not talking football, if you’re not thinking about football, then what are we here for” I thought you were here to audition for Wrestlemania 40-something? https://www.wwe.com/shows/wrestlemania
  19. Please. Before you spout off about the innocence of Hill’s domestic violence, a bare minimum search on Google pops up this little reality check. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.si.com/college-football/2015/08/21/tyreek-hill-oklahoma-state-football-domestic-violence-battery-plea-agreement
  20. I don't wish ill on any NFL player in terms of injuries (ok, maybe back in the day I wouldn't have shed a tear if Bryan Cox had been carted out of Rich Stadium following his rude gestures to the crowd) but there would definitely be some poetic justice here given the physical harm he's dished out to defenseless family members. Just sayin'.
  21. Not to make too fine a point of it, but you cannot simply gloss over the fact that Tesla/Musk have received significant subsidies (per vehicle) from US and European taxpayers through their respective governmental handouts, without which it's difficult to make the argument that Tesla would still be a viable company by any traditional measure. Even today, Tesla continues on its roller-coaster ride of 'will they or won't they' be profitable this time around...and before starting down the road of so many other companies also receive tax credits, etc., the point is simply that to paint Musk with the broad brush of self-made by the bootstraps type genius with the Midas touch, is misleading. Not to put words in @Ol Dirty B's mouth, but my guess is that's why he took issue with your characterization. Is he a smart guy still? Sure, no question. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-11/its-confirmed-without-government-subsidies-tesla-sales-implode https://www.nationalreview.com/2015/01/tesla-and-its-subsidies-phil-kerpen/
  22. Well, at least you never changed your username to make such buffoonery official.
  23. This will be Daboll’s last season in Buffalo, as he is going to be promoted to HC elsewhere based on his 2019 results. Prolly the Browns.
