  1. Jerry Rice ran a 4.71. Just saying, just saying. Not comparing Duke to Rice by any means obviously, but Jerry Rice, Anquan Boldin, and Larry Fitzgerald would all like a word with you, sir.
  2. I like it, points are points. Was just mentioning how people seem to overlook this with Allen earlier and I'm not really understanding the disconnect. The fact that Allen has 25 TDs so far is awesome production, there shouldn't be asterisk associated with 8 Tds because they came on the ground. I do also agree with the argument that they should include fumbles lost as well to balance things out.
  3. You're conveniently overlooking Allen's rushing touchdowns. Why does everybody seemingly do this when discussing Allen? Rushing TD's don't count less when they come from a QB. It's not fair to argue that Hodges is better, sorry. It's short sighted and wrong.
  4. Hodges TD per game this season - 0.8 JA TD per game this season - 1.92 And we're in a better position for the playoffs. I don't man, I'm sure there are some wonky advanced stats that can show a better snapshot of Hodges right now, but Allen can undoubtedly take it to another level that I guarantee Duck can't. Give me Allen all day. Nobody cares about Eric Eager's opinion, including his mother.
  5. Eric Eager wants attention. Dude probably has a neckbeard and a Reddit addiction.
  6. Agree with the ones that keep coming up, but I also really dislike Kirk Cousins and Jameis Winston for some reason to toss out a couple of new names. Go watch that Jameis Winston "eat a W" video and try not to cringe.
  7. Those were rumors, and it was 30 years ago. And they then proceeded to go to three more Super Bowls. Bell is a giant disappointment, who seemingly doesn't care, and who DID go out the night before he missed a game due to the flu. The mental gymnastics...
  8. Was thinking the same. Boonton Lanes?! Guy could go to some secret NY club but instead he goes to some Jersey bowling pit in orange leather pants
  9. It was a good showing by our defense but he still quietly dropped 3 passing TDs and was really efficient. I like that we more or less took away his legs. That team is not all Lamar Jackson, which kind of makes them more terrifying. Judon is really turning into premier pass rusher, Justin Tucker is the best ever, they stole Marcus Peters who is better than Jalen Ramsey, etc.
  10. I love McD but a current, potentially minor flaw is that this regime has definitely shown a tendency to stick with some fringe guys a bit longer than they should. There may be some bias from time to time. The Daboll-Foster connection for example?
  11. It could say a lot of things "chief" which is why we're having a discussion about it. They already had him in before so they're clearly waffling a bit with a bunch of bottom tier wide receivers, so it's perfectly fine for fans to discuss going with the guy that has a different skillset and scored a friggin TD when given the opportunity. This clearly annoys you for some reason. It's hours after a loss so I get it if you're 13 bourbons deep and looking for a fight ya old rascal.
  12. ??? Pretty sure you just made it for me. It's outlandish for fans to talk about getting terrible guy 1 out of there so they can see potentially terrible guy 2 instead? Let's just continue to ignore our WR depth completely because we all know that everybody after Beasley sucks anyway?
  13. Unlike the undrafted ghost of Robert Foster, who the vast majority of this board is still waiting for. Maybe he'll have that breakout game in Week 15, eh?
  14. The fans are seeing at least two receivers that do nothing on a weekly basis. It's a valid argument.
  15. Totally agree. How does he not offer anything different than McKenzie when he's got six inches on him? And Foster isn't doing anything anyway. Awful take.
  16. Right? I'm ok with seeing more Yeldon for the sake of change of a pace and because we have nobody else, but I wouldn't call him good. Yeldon might make a lot of people regret their wishes when he fumbles in a playoff game. Our RB depth has been and will be an issue all year. I wish Murphy was still around. Just treat Singletary like the primary back and give him even more touches. He only had 23 today, that's not an insane workload.
  17. Probably Justin Tucker, unfortunately. He just drilled a game winner in the rain. Gonna need some touchdowns. I keep worrying that we're coming into this game with a serious kicker /special teams disadvantage, so offense is going to have to play their best game of the year. Unless Lamar has a total meltdown against a serious D at home which would be amazing to see, but doubtful.
  18. Josh Allen, but I've recently read just about everything I can find on John Brown and he's quickly moving up the list.
  19. That fantasy football is not reality, and while the glorification and reliance on advanced statistics might make you a buck on Fanduel, it really means nothing in the real world. Record and total touchdowns matter, and Josh is manhandling Baker on both accounts this year. Ah dammit saw your new post - you caught one.
  20. And he will probably be one again, likely next season. I have no idea if it's the same article unfortunately but I just read some chatter yesterday about him joining us a possible consultant now. I imagine it would be short-term and through the playoffs only.
  21. I have to disagree. I feel like Robby Anderson is the most overrated WR on this board. Smoke had an edge statistically on Anderson prior to this year, and to my knowledge he never threatened to rape a cop's wife. Pass on Robby Anderson, especially with the loaded draft.
  22. Hoping for bad weather to take away the Justin Tucker advantage more so than anything else. He's automatic right now, might be the best ever in his prime. Hauschka better be feeling it this weekend if we're able to keep it close.
  23. Which is exactly the reason for some celebration. They're not even really being disrespectful - at most they mocked the celebrations of other NFL players. So what? None of them are talking like Jalen Ramsey. They're dancing and talking a little bit of PG rated trash, which I enjoy much more than a bunch of process robots with no personality whatsoever.
