  1. I loved Woods and didn't want him to leave, and now he's put up back to back 1,000 yard seasons so has legitimately become a better WR. This seems to be the common opinion. I don't really understand this post.
  2. Totally agree. Where is this coming from? They've been kind of off their game, for like 3 weeks? They're 12-3 defending champs and people are acting like they're not the same Patriots. I do not understand it, Belichick and his weird kid have been stepping up their psyops apparently.
  3. I'm not disappointed at all. Today was great, the disappointment floor was so much higher since we're already in the playoffs, and then we made it a game in their stadium. I thought this was progression all around. I'm sure this has been said, but when was the last time we made it a 4th quarter game in Foxboro, let alone for a game that mattered? I'd rematch that Pats team any day, how long has it been since you could say that? People are underrating the Pats, which hurts my soul to even type, after a few weeks of down play. It's how the world works now, but make no mistake, the Patriots are still one of the top 2 teams in the AFC. Overall this was an affordable loss in all reality and I liked what I saw from the Bills. Allen throwing 2 TDs and no nterceptions, in their house, in a game that matters in late December, is fantastic.
  4. Yes. Playoffs, baby, brand new season. The Chiefs or Texans are scary and they matter right now not the Jets, as much as I hate them. Rest up and be sharp. How crazy two weeks in the NFL can be. Apparently some actually started to think that the Patriots are bad now, or on the downswing, or something? We just went into Foxboro and lost by a TD in a 4-quarter game, and our young QB threw 2 TDs with no interceptions on their turf. Chin up, there's work to be done but this is far from over. And that John Brown TD was beautiful.
  5. Ha, and furthermore how about a suggestion? I don't think anybody out there gives Daboll more than a ho-him B, but who exactly do you replace him with to make sure that our still raw, young QB doesn't miss a beat with his development? I fear replacing Daboll ultimately turns into replacing our QB a year later, and then probably drafting another WR in the first round, and then we're right back to struggling for an 8-8 record for the better part of a decade. Sounds like a Black Mirror episode strictly for Bills fans. Things are working right now, and we probably shouldn't break it.
  6. I'm not a fan but I'm torn. On one hand he's got to shoulder blame for the conservative nature of our offense and frankly some of the bias that goes into our personnel in my opinion (Robert Foster), but on the other we're in the playoffs and our QB has 29 TDs on the season, so something is working. I'm very skeptical that Daboll is the answer, but we've improved over last year and I fear that the possibility of even losing a season with the addition of a new OC really isn't an option with Allen's current growth arc. I love Allen, but let's be honest - if we for example replace Daboll after this season, and Allen is even worse next year, then we're right back in draft a QB territory and are spinning our wheels. I'm leaning toward sticking with Daboll, but I don't like it.
  7. Nice thread, completely agree and really hope we can move on from Foster. Fans still act like he's going to come around, as if an entire lost season isn't enough. We don't have some secret weapon at WR that may go off eventually - we essentially have incomplete WR depth. Foster is never going to duplicate what he did at the very end of last season. It was a nice story for awhile, but he was always an UDFA for a reason.
  8. I'll say no/maybe on 10 but I don't think that discounts him at all. Hard to get 10+ every year in his position. More than happy with 5 and offenses worrying about him.
  9. I'm right there with you but am starting to question it? Can you theoretically punch a guy down? It looks like Watt is staring directly at the ball so maybe that's what saves him? Weird play.
  10. That was a whiff, but he set his foot and wound up on that whiff, so I still give Josh credit for standing steady. May have hit the junk? Kind of crazy that a guy can just throw a UFC punch at your midsection but I guess he's going for the ball. Allen looks comfy and unphazed, and the Watts are scary dudes. Good ball security any way you slice it.
  11. The disruption is huge. Same goes for Edmunds. He only has 1.5 sacks but imagine that dude getting anywhere near you. I know there was a play last week (that I can't find) where Edmunds crashed in on Duck untouched, and Hodges just tossed it away like "nope". Those plays don't really hit a lot of stat sheets. This defense can be chaos for QBs right now. And Jerry still has 4.5 sacks so he's contributing. His 10 sack years were on bad teams where he was pretty much the guy, and now he's a piece of the puzzle. You've got Ed Oliver now, Tremaine Edmunds, Jordan Phillips, Shaq Lawson, and then Jerry Hughes still picking up 5-6 sacks a season? That's scary.
  12. Congrats Tre. Jordan Phillips is an epic whiff. It doesn't make sense but whatever. More rest before the Super Bowl.
  13. Seems Lawson loves to be here too? He's always shouting out Bills mafia and celebrating. Sign them both.
  14. How much of a bust has Alvin Kamara been this year? Yikes I'm not too worried about Devin, yet. As others have said that Watt play was great, and I assume it's contributing to the rate here. If it continues though who do we turn to? Gore and Yeldon? Yeldon has had some serious fumble issues in the past himself, but I guess it may be worth seeing him a bit more over these next couple of games. This team really needs another RB.
  15. Neither can tackle, I thought Kevin Johnson was pretty bad too actually. I saw him take terrible angles a few times, including one play where he seriously looked afraid to take on Connor. Thank god Tre is okay.
  16. I'm enjoying Schopp and Bulldog tonight for the first time in about 9 years. Hard to hate on this team, but kudos to them for pulling the midnight shift. Cheers guys
  17. Big deal to go into Pittsburgh in December and take a win. Frustrating game at times but this team can take it to anybody. Huuuuge win! Nobody wants to see this team in the playoffs, guaranteed.
  18. Gore's a legend but it's over. He can't churn through tackles. Our DBs bounce off Connor, but Joe Haden takes Gore down without issue.
  19. Yeah give us that ball back you lames. Not at all impressed by these Steelers, even with the refs handing them plays
  20. Look I get it and I'll stop so as to not hijack. This isn't about Duke as he runs like a block of wood, but it's just completely false to say that 4.72 in general is too slow when some of the best ever ran in 4.6-4.8 territory.
