  1. I'm right there with you but am starting to question it? Can you theoretically punch a guy down? It looks like Watt is staring directly at the ball so maybe that's what saves him? Weird play.
  2. That was a whiff, but he set his foot and wound up on that whiff, so I still give Josh credit for standing steady. May have hit the junk? Kind of crazy that a guy can just throw a UFC punch at your midsection but I guess he's going for the ball. Allen looks comfy and unphazed, and the Watts are scary dudes. Good ball security any way you slice it.
  3. The disruption is huge. Same goes for Edmunds. He only has 1.5 sacks but imagine that dude getting anywhere near you. I know there was a play last week (that I can't find) where Edmunds crashed in on Duck untouched, and Hodges just tossed it away like "nope". Those plays don't really hit a lot of stat sheets. This defense can be chaos for QBs right now. And Jerry still has 4.5 sacks so he's contributing. His 10 sack years were on bad teams where he was pretty much the guy, and now he's a piece of the puzzle. You've got Ed Oliver now, Tremaine Edmunds, Jordan Phillips, Shaq Lawson, and then Jerry Hughes still picking up 5-6 sacks a season? That's scary.
  4. Congrats Tre. Jordan Phillips is an epic whiff. It doesn't make sense but whatever. More rest before the Super Bowl.
  5. Seems Lawson loves to be here too? He's always shouting out Bills mafia and celebrating. Sign them both.
  6. How much of a bust has Alvin Kamara been this year? Yikes I'm not too worried about Devin, yet. As others have said that Watt play was great, and I assume it's contributing to the rate here. If it continues though who do we turn to? Gore and Yeldon? Yeldon has had some serious fumble issues in the past himself, but I guess it may be worth seeing him a bit more over these next couple of games. This team really needs another RB.
  7. Neither can tackle, I thought Kevin Johnson was pretty bad too actually. I saw him take terrible angles a few times, including one play where he seriously looked afraid to take on Connor. Thank god Tre is okay.
  8. I'm enjoying Schopp and Bulldog tonight for the first time in about 9 years. Hard to hate on this team, but kudos to them for pulling the midnight shift. Cheers guys
  9. Big deal to go into Pittsburgh in December and take a win. Frustrating game at times but this team can take it to anybody. Huuuuge win! Nobody wants to see this team in the playoffs, guaranteed.
  10. Gore's a legend but it's over. He can't churn through tackles. Our DBs bounce off Connor, but Joe Haden takes Gore down without issue.
  11. Yeah give us that ball back you lames. Not at all impressed by these Steelers, even with the refs handing them plays
  12. Look I get it and I'll stop so as to not hijack. This isn't about Duke as he runs like a block of wood, but it's just completely false to say that 4.72 in general is too slow when some of the best ever ran in 4.6-4.8 territory.
  13. I posted about 8 exceptions actually, and I can keep going. My argument is that there's no real cut-off for an acceptable 40 time, let alone it being 4.72, as history shows,. This is further based off the argument that jrober just regularly makes stuff up to trash Bills players. He flat out said 4.72 is too slow to make it as a WR in the NFL. This is completely false.
  14. Why does he talk like he's been smoking for 60 years and/or screaming for the past week. Cocaine drip?
  15. I'm not really comparing him to anybody per my original disclaimer. I'm making light of the statement that 4.72 in general is too slow to be a WR, especially when considering that the best to ever do it ran a 4.71.
  16. Cris Carter, Chad Johnson, Hines Ward, Brandon Marshall, and Brandon Lloyd for honorable mention? Lots of slow 40 times for a lot of good receivers. If anything, it seems far more rare for the 4.3 burners to turn into anything more than gadget players, let alone a Hall of Famer.
  17. Ha yeah that was an awful example. I'm clearly more interested in these Melvin IPAs than Josh Allen's awesome ability to find the endzone right now, but I think we've got a good one.
  18. But did any of them lead the CFL in receiving? I know it's meaningless, but it's still pretty cool. Plus only Da'Rick also had an NFL TD, so there's a tiny bit of understandable magic to Duke and I'm on board. But yeah, totally down to pick the next practice squad WR heart throb, it is a thing.
  19. Of course, it's also fair to strip things down a bit and focus on what matters - wins, and points. I totally agree, we're just circling each other, but 25 TDs is production. I really don't understand why people discount rushing TDs. If Josh goes 3-27 passing but runs for 180 yards and 3 TDs in a playoff game that we win, we still win.
  20. Yeah, to add I read that they're simply going with youth since the season is over. It's not because Suggs is done. We could use him. I think it was probably just the blurb on NFL.com. Says they're "evaluating talent"
  21. Somebody posted it here a couple weeks ago and I unfortunately can't find it so all credit to them, but Josh Allen has/had an outside shot at setting the record for most total TDs in a season for a Bills QB. I think it might be 34 for Kelly in '91? He had a better chance before last week obviously when this was originally discussed, but that's a pretty amazing stat for his second year.
