Appreciate the insight and agree with pretty much all points. KC Defense isn't very good, and I feel like they've lost a small step on offense. Which doesn't make a ton of sense to me so it's probably just wishful thinking - they only really lost Watkins and have always went with Hill/Kelce and a random supporting cast. It just feels like the supporting cast is more beatable this year and their stars are more isolated? Again wishful thinking as Hill proved once again today what he's capable of, and if it isn't him it's Kelce. But hey if you can take away those two? The running game hasn't really shown up yet. Gonna be a dogfight. I'm taking next Monday off.

Kind of think it's more so "has a kicker" than has a great one. Maybe we're not realizing the great ones? Bass is great right now. Rodrigo Blankenship or whoever is more so a body than a great kicker, but whatever, it's an incredibly small point. There aren't 5 kickers better, and there are a ton of kickers who are already disappointing this year.
-
Can you give enough game balls to Bass? Trying to think outside of the box a little bit here, and I agree that Edmunds was visibly great today, but Bass is just so automatic. Some teams don't even really have kickers, while ours is probably second to Tucker right now, in the AFC at least. It's a boring but gigantic plus.

LeBron James has hopped on the Josh Allen train

So what's gross? -
Did he do the push on Moss? Thought that was a heads up play, gave us a yard near the goal line and just seemed like a super-aware play by a lineman. I don't want linemen randomly maneuvering our running backs, but that seemed alright. He also seemed about a head taller than everybody else in the huddle. What's up with Ford, though? Heard Coach in the postgame emphatically state that "Cody Ford is a good football player" and thought it was weird.

I think it was the rusty old days of 2019 when we were worried about winning but having a small point differential. Oh the turntables. This is the best team in the league. At a minimum if you're a consistent human being, treat them like the teams (Chiefs, Rams) that you worshipped because they destroyed teams like this a year or two ago.

LeBron James has hopped on the Josh Allen train
Nelius replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Since it's so hard to hate on a 40-0 shutout apparently. And will bite, is it really "gross" for Josh to acknowledge a shoutout from LeBron James of all people? Josh is probably the nicest superstar athlete in the world, who would also acknowledge a tweet from some rando special teamer, but he's supposed to go silent when LeBron of all people causes a stir? Yeah that wouldn't be insanely strange at all. And even because of what, some extremely narrow political lean or something? Weird takes abound in here. -
Unleash the beast next week, maybe? Didn't even notice not noticing him, but good point. Guess I didn't notice any Epenesa either. Wow are they resting these guys for Mahomes next week?

The Edmunds Report - Week 4, Texans v. Bills, 10/03/21
Nelius replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still not very worried about this giant human being that disrupts offensive game plans and may just ***** a ball out of mid-air if it's in his area. ^ what, that's not allowed? How about pluck? -
Are the Cardinals for real?

Adversity like a tough opponent, or injuries? Because if it's the former I'd say stomping out the Rams at home who many already gifted a Super Bowl appearance blows the tough opponent theory up. -
Three observations about the season so far
Nelius replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've seen this a few times now and can only think that surely you can counter any possible offensive downtick with the defensive domination we've seen so far, right? This defense is so much better than last year, and it completely makes sense - It's a bunch of young blue chips getting better. Loved seeing Ed Oliver dominate and stomp all over the field today, and that's just one example. And that's even if you disagree with the no longer unstoppable piece. Our point differential would like to have a word, plus our RBs and TE are better, and Sanders is clearly an upgrade over Brown. And it still seems like they can reach a higher level or two. This team is terrifying. -

I'll clap when Tim Duncan crawls out of his cocoon and points a long ET-like finger at a picture of Josh and silently nods to acknowledge his support. The real Goat. -
Are the Cardinals for real?
Nelius replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, I think they're very much for real. They have the best WR group in the league and Murray seems very legit as tough as it seems for many to swallow. I've always been a James Conner fan and he's giving them a pretty solid rushing attack now as well. Hey come to think of it their offense seems very much like ours. And then Chandler Jones, Budda Baker, Watt on Defense. All bad men. Wouldn't even be surprised if you start hearing some Bills-Cards SB chatter as early as this week, certainly if we take care of business next week. -
Cool thanks refs, already making me worry about next week
-
Really loving this combo. Toss Allen in and it's a top rushing attack - I know we were 5th in rushing yards before this week. A consistent 150+ and at least a TD on the ground and everybody's healthy. Pretty awesome. Love seeing as much Moss as we did and you've got to keep riding the TD streak but man Singletary looked more explosive than I remember ever seeing him on some of those runs today. Looked really quick out there.

Matt Judon has given Josh Allen more problems than any other individual defensive player I can think of.

There are already Youtube videos popping up in my stream with Belicheat's freak son captioned "What is this dude one?"
-
They didn't score a TD so you know how this goes. We've seen this about 30 times before
-
but on the other hand they have no run game. A terrible run game, which is also kind of surprising, so it kind of balances out

10/3/21 Gameday Bills vs Texans 1st Half Thread

Dude this Mowins voice today. It’s hilarious. Should be entertaining at least play-ackshun! -
Talking head football analysis is dead now that there are a million blogs out there and you can all test projections yourself for the low monthly price of $29.99 at myfantasydumps.com or whatever. Peter King is still more acceptable than the 49 year old Yahoo Fantasy manboys like Pianowski or whoever that are just more boring versions of Peter King. I personally hope he shakes and talks about whatever dumb coffee he prefers until he feels he's done.

Honestly interested to see if Feliciano is as bad as many think. I haven't been paying that close of attention so am legitimately interested, great time to see some O-line depth against an awful Texans team. Definitely rest Poyer with the Chiefs looming. Intoxication level 5.2 on a 10.0 scale, location SW Denver.

Dolphins - Civil War? Will the Findom fall?
Nelius replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They're a good QB away from being relevant. It's all QB and Tua isn't it, don't kid yourselves. But if they do win the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes the tone here changes overnight, guaranteed. Waddle, Parker, Gesicki just need somebody who can throw and that defense shouldn't be as awful as they looked during their meltdown against us in Week 2. Definitely better than the Jets. A semi-decent QB away from being better than the Pats. -
Just elbowing my way in to say I called the Lofton comparison when we signed the guy * ducks milk carton
-
I know it's very easy to hate on Rodgers right now and I myself laugh at his manbun, but the guy has put up with the Packers for going on 17 seasons which is pretty incredible, so I think the whole diva thing is a bit overblown. Guy just wants as many rings as possible considering his age and how long he's bled for that team. I haven't even spent 17 years in the city I met my wife and had my child in. Nearly two decades is a crazy commitment by any standard in sports. So yeah I could see him doing something similar at some point, but maybe after year 14 or 15 with no additional rings things start to get a little annoying, ya know. Isn't he Josh's idol by the way? I'm off the Rodgers hate wagon now that he's cleansed himself from that week 1 dud.
