  1. Wasn't it Napoleon McCallum? Kaufman was a little later. Easy enough to confuse. I mean what are the odds that the same team would have 2 RBs named Napoleon within a handful of years from each other?
  2. I'm guessing Subway paid him an obscene amount of money. To my knowledge, he's never done commercials before. He also isn't a member of the coach's union so he's never appeared on any video games either.
  3. I was at both the Browns and 49ers games you mentioned. SMH. It was raining during the 49ers game if I remember correctly. I also attended a clunker against the Texans that was around the same time period. It was the game where the refs enforced a penalty against the Texans when the Bills were signaling to decline it to bring up 4th down.
  4. I first learned about this game from the Bills 35th anniversary VHS tape that I got as a kid. Didn't Ferguson complete a long pass to Hooks the play before or earlier in the drive to set that up?
  5. 1992 opener against the Rams. 47-0. We had 50 yard line seats right below the owner's box. Thurman scored 4 TDs, James Lofton broke the receiving yardage record, Tasker laid out the Rams punt returner on a play they always show on his highlights, and Magic Johnson was in attendance. The 26-0 comeback against the Colts in 97 was another one of my favorites. The Panthers game in 2013 ranks right up there. Especially because I was given tickets at like 8:00 the night before. The home opener against Miami in 2014 was electric. The Pegulas had just bought the team and the ovation Jim Kelly got during the ceremony for Ralph gave me goosebumps. The worst game by far was the 6-3 **** show against the Browns in 2009.
  6. The games are normally streamed on the Bills Mafia Facebook page.
  7. The Bills wouldn't have broken the playoff drought without him. For that we should be grateful!!
  8. That guy came over to BS with my buddy and me at a game we went to at MetLife a couple years ago. It was the season finale after Rex was fired. He and every other Jets fan we talked to that day wanted to know if we were happy to see Rex go.
  9. That's certainly a possibility. It crossed my mind also. There are articles that say Vince was in a "volatile" mood backstage at Raw last night. One thing may have nothing to do with the other but the timing was interesting.
  10. I'd be curious to know how Vince McMahon feels about this. Rumor had it he was trying to buy it back.
  11. I was at that practice and I was at the one when Reggie Ragland tore his ACL. Maybe I need to stay away.
  12. The home game against the Patriots in 91 was my first game. It was a close, low scoring game. It took a late Darryl Talley INT to seal the win for the Bills. Division games can be tough as someone else said
  13. I think his feelings may have softened over the years. I saw him at a game several years ago. He was signing autographs at the alumni table in the field house.
  14. I figured that's where you were going. Eric Nies is John Nies' brother. Eric was on the Real World and was an MTV on air personality for awhile after that. I saw the 2 of them on some MTV Spring Break dating show. That's when I first put it all together. I think there was also an episode of the Real World where Eric goes to a game that their dad was officiating.
  15. Interesting... I didn't realize until researching this question that Tuten passed away in 2017
  16. This probably was too obscure. John Nies was a punter, drafted by the Bills in the 6th round of the 1990 Draft. As I said earlier, he only lasted a few weeks. His father is long time NBA referee Jack Nies. His brother is former MTV VJ/host of The Grind Eric Nies.
  17. Was drafted to replace him, then lost the job to Tuten
  18. Rick Tuten was signed a couple weeks into the season and replaced him
  19. Maybe but his father and brother were pretty well known. I do tend to remember some oddball stuff.
  20. A couple hints: The player was a punter, drafted in the 6th round of the 1990 draft. He was on the roster for 4 games but after looking into it further, it looks like he only appeared in one. The Bills didn't punt in their first game in 1990.
  21. No. Not a bad guess with Karl Malone being Bell's father though.
