  1. The fact that Thurman Thomas only had 15 carries in that game was criminal!
  2. I literally just posted this, then saw this post, and deleted mine. I quoted the same post as well. 🤣
  3. When Rex hired his brother I changed the name of my fantasy football team to "Two Ryans Don't Make a Right". I went to the Bills/Jets game at Met Life at the end of that 2016 season, the week after Rex had been fired. I lost count of how many Jets fans came up to us in the parking lot wanting to know if we were happy that he was gone.
  4. I'm glad to see someone is brave enough to admit it
  5. She still looks INCREDIBLE!
  6. My brother got robbed in Nashville a day or 2 before the MNF game a couple years ago when the Bills went for the win and Josh slipped on the QB sneak at the goal line. He was sitting in a bar at a table next to a window. The window was open. He took his wallet out of his pocket and set that and a couple of other things on the table. Just trying to get organized I guess. Somebody from outside jumped halfway through the window and snatched his wallet. My brother tried to chase the guy but he jumped on an electric scooter and sped off. Not as bad as your story but still pretty s*****
  7. His performance in the game before he was benched was really bad too. His benching was justified. It just wound up being a disaster.
  8. Apparently there was a brief, jovial sideline exchange between Tyrod and McDermott. I missed it if there was. My dad mentioned it to me
  9. Wouldn't have made the news
  10. I started watching the Buffalo Plus YouTube channel during training camp this year. I enjoy the chemistry the 3 of them have. I saw Jenna walking around at the practice I went to. She looks even better in person.
  11. Brady introduced himself to Josh's dad at a golf event last year and the first thing he said was "I love your son" The term check down isn't really a dirty word. It only has a negative connotation to Bills fans because of Trent Edwards and the nickname "Captain Check Down" 😆
  12. Ralph was from Detroit. According to the Bills 50th anniversary DVD he and his father had a small stake in the Lions at one point. As far as Miami goes, I remember hearing there was an issue with a lease for the Orange Bowl and Ralph chose Buffalo instead.
  13. Hard to believe it's been 10 years. My dad, brother, some friends, and I went to the home opener against Miami after it was announced that the Pegula's had agreed to buy the team. They also had the ceremony to honor Ralph. Jim Kelly was in the early stages of his cancer battle. The ovation he got when he stepped up to the podium to speak at the ceremony gave me chills. What an atmosphere that day! Not to mention the Bills went on the beat the snot out of the Dolphins that day too.
  14. There is a "50 Greatest Drought Moments" video on YouTube. Of course the drought was brutal. But the video is kind of a fun watch. It was fun remembering where I was for some of the moments and what ones I was there for in person.
  15. I was at this game too. I was gifted the tickets at about 8:00 the night before. I scrambled around to find someone to go with. I ended up taking a very attractive former classmate. It was her first NFL game. What a finish!
  16. I never tried to get tickets because I didn't know I'd be up that way at all during camp. But I'm on my up to visit my dad and go to the races with him tonight. Does anybody have an extra ticket or 2 for tomorrow morning's practice?
  17. So why are they requiring tickets for every practice? I used to go every year and the night practices were the only ones that a ticket was required. The only thing I've attended recently was the blue and red scrimmage. I got a ticket to that because someone from work gave me one.
  18. Toronto and the stadium naming rights always went hand in hand for me. On one hand we had to listen to Ralph and Russ Brandon whine about Buffalo being a small market and how selling a home game to Toronto was necessary to expand the fan base and create more revenue. On the other hand, they completely ignored a huge revenue stream by not selling the naming rights of the stadium for over 15 years. That has always infuriated me.
  19. I didn't remember that Cornelius Bennett and Peyton Manning were teammates.
  20. I remember watching this game with my dad. I was 11. I told him I thought they were going to block that FG
  21. A group of us, including my dad and my brother attended the Bills/Bengals game in 2013. It was the one that Thad Lewis started at QB. There was a father and son sitting in front of us. It was the son's first game. He couldn't have been any more than 7 or 8 years old. Thad Lewis connected with Marquise Goodwin on a long TD pass late that tied the game. This kid turned around to high five my brother. My brother picked him up and held him over his head so he could high five the people behind us. The kid loved it and I don't think I've ever laughed that hard at a Bills game.
  22. The Broncos probably wouldn't have cut him if he'd crashed on Von's couch that night. 😆
  23. I thought that one was included on here but that is a good one too.
  24. He also ran on the field to join in a bench clearing brawl with high school kids when his younger brother was playing at St. Joe's. He got kicked off the team at Clemson in addition to his high school team in PA. I'm pretty sure he got in a bar fight while at Ole' Miss. Just throwing in some stories that may have been missed in this thread.
