  1. No using Google. What former Buffalo Bills player had a dad who was an NBA referee and a brother on MTV?
  2. Moulds was my favorite player from that era. I have a royal blue Puma and a navy blue Reebok of his
  3. The Bills blocked a FG. Bennett caught the block out of the air and ran it back. I remember saying "maybe they'll block it" to my dad as Denver was lining up.
  4. This was the first season that came to mind. They beat up on some pretty bad teams during that run but it was still fun to watch. My dad and I were at the Rams game that started that win streak. I watched that Steelers game at a bar owned by a Steelers fan. SMH
  5. It's funny you should mention this movie. I was not familiar with the movie or the Brandon Burlsworth story until a couple days ago. I was visiting my dad and we were looking for something to watch. Greater was at the top of my dad's Netflix menu. I agree with the others who thought the movie was just ok. I was surprised that I hadn't heard of him before. It seems like his death, a mere 11 days after the draft would have been big news at the time. I would have been 20 then and followed anything and everything NFL related when I was that age. His name also would have caught my attention because it's very similar to mine. Rudy is a better movie and may be a better story. But this guy was a better walk on as far as ability goes. He earned a scholarship, started for 2 years, was an All American, and was drafted in the 3rd round by the Colts.
  6. I remember my girlfriend at the time trying to quiet me down. She lived in an upstairs apartment.
  7. That was in the 93 divisional playoff against the Raiders. The temperature for that game with the windchill was something like -25. Tasker actually just missed a TD on that play. He got knocked out of bounds inside the 5. Kenneth Davis scored the TD a play or two later.
  8. I can't say I remember hearing about that. What I do remember is Thurman Thomas took exception to Jim Kelly calling out the O Line when he hurt his shoulder. Thomas was asked on his TV show what the one thing the team needed to become contenders was and he replied "quarterback!"
  9. Bruce DeHaven was the special teams coach for the Music City Miracle. Wade fired him over it and hired Ronnie Jones. The Bills ST unit in 2000 was so god awful that Ralph wanted Jones gone and Wade refused. Ultimately I think Wade sued over the remainder of his contract and won.
  10. This thing will hold a dozen. I tested it out last night when I got the wings out to thaw.
  11. I got a toaster oven/air fryer combo for Christmas so I'm going to make some wings. I'm anxious to see how they turn out.
  12. I googled Jerry Glanville after a couple references on this post. He's still coaching!
  13. My 7th grade English teacher had a son that worked in advertising, or something along those lines, for Shout. His name appeared in the credits in the back. Anyway, my teacher would get free issues from his son and eventually pass them along to me, knowing I was a Bills fan. Eventually my mom got me a subscription for Christmas. I think I still have the comeback issue and Kelly and Levy's retirement issues packed away somewhere.

    Parking

Looks like we have a similar idea. I just continue on 20A all the way to Mt. Morris. I live in Elmira.

    Parking

Obviously it depends on which way you're coming from. I always come into Orchard Park on 20A West. With that said, I normally park on the corner of 20A and California Rd. It's only $10 to park there but it's about a mile walk to the stadium. It's easy to get out of there after the game if you take a left onto California Rd instead of getting back on 20A. Then it's a right onto Ellis Rd. Take that to the end and right onto Taylor Rd. Left at the fork on Taylor and continue on New Taylor Rd until the end. It comes out on North Buffalo Street/rte. 240. Take a right and take that a couple blocks until you come back to 20A. Left onto 20A. I go that way and bypass a lot of traffic
  16. I'll have to check out Locked on Bills... Not technically a podcast but Hashtag Sports on YouTube is pretty entertaining. I ran into one of the hosts at a training camp practice this year. Super nice guy. He told me they started the YouTube show as an excuse to get out of the house. They are also doing play by play of the games this season.
  17. Trent won the fade/garbage can competition when I went to a training camp night practice in 2010.
  18. I like the choice of Eric Wood. I'm surprised the Bills didn't play it safe and go with Tasker since he's leaving CBS.
  19. Didn't Flacco unfollow the Broncos on Twitter after they drafted Lock?
  20. That's the fastest I remember a first round pick signing in a long time. He definitely wants to be there. This pic instantly made me a fan.
  21. Is he still alive? He seemed old during the Super Bowl years. I loved his post game shows back then.
  22. It was Stevie Johnson, not Andre Reed. Stevie was always a bit of a knucklehead. I'm not saying he's a bad guy though. I just asked the question because it seemed like too much of a coincidence.
