  1. Johnson is a top tier safety. Ward is pretty close to White, he's just injured more than you'd like. Hill will be in the slot as he has been. They now have Newsome to go along with Ward, Hill, Greedy Williams, and Delpit back at safety. Ronnie Harrison is pretty decent too
  2. 2018 Chubb hardly played until 3/4 of the way through the year. He would come in once every two games and break off a big run and then hardly play after that because Hue Jackson is stupid. Callaway was hit and miss too so I wouldn't really count him as a weapon. He made a couple big plays and then basically disappeared. And Njoku has been really up and down his whole career as well. Plus he missed almost all of 2019. I would call 2018 a wash just in terms of support. 2019 Mayfield had better weapons but way a worse coach and was playing in his third system in 2 years. That's more what I meant when I said he had a harder situation. He was changing coordinators and head coaches left and right. It's hard to get comfortable in a system when it's changing all the time.
  3. The first 7, sure. But why if Buffalo did something is it them "making plays" but if Cleveland did it, it's the other team spotting them points? That's how things are presented here. I think both teams will be in the hunt next year. Buffalo plays in a MUCH easier division, so that'll help the record portion, but I think both teams are pretty even right now. Allen is better than Mayfield right now, but Mayfield has had a much harder situation in his career so far. Mayfield will never be Allen in terms of ability, but he can still be a top tier QB. I also don't think Allen would be who he is today if he changed HC and OC as many times as Cleveland did in 3 years. Cleveland is much more balanced then Buffalo. Buffalo has"proven" it longer. But Cleveland I feel had finally figured out the GM and HC situations, so going forward both teams should be good. Remember, Cleveland's current GM wanted McDermott, not Hue Jackson. D And he wanted Stefanski last year, but Freddie Kitchens.
  4. The Jets game had Cleveland missing their top 5 WRs due to Covid, and they started 2 players who had never seen an NFL field and were signed 3 days before the game.
  5. Why would Philly even accept that?
  6. I don't see any way that moving up 11 spots in 1st only costs a late 3. Probably a 2nd, or maybe a 2 or 3 next year in addition to the 3 this year.
  7. That, and the last 2 2nd rounders were secondary players that missed all of last year. Delpit was the Thorpe award winner in 19, and Greedy Williams was decent as a rookie the year before.
  8. Use a lot of treasure?
  9. Just saw it's $8M with $2M in incentives.
  10. I quit using Walter Football a couple years ago when it was proven a ton of their "scouting" reports were copy and pasted from other various sites. And their "updated" mock draft is talking about whether the Jets will draft Wilson or stick with Darnold.
  11. Carrie is a completely average corner. Not great, not terrible. He'll have a great game one week and give up an easy TD the next. Solid move as a depth CB.
  12. The Jets are definitely taking a QB. 0% chance that they don't take a QB.
  13. Because it's a 1 year contract and it's guaranteed if he gets anyway?
  14. Dallas also played with Andy Dalton for most of the year, and Lamb was also a rookie.
  15. I think Josh's dad has some splaining to do!
  16. You understand that Watt changed positions in college right? Went from a TE to a DE. Also, having offseasons where your entire job is basically to be in shape tends to lead to these guys being in insane shape. It's possible some of these guys are on something, but just because they're big didn't mean they are. And it's a bold claim when your only evidence is the "eye test."
  17. Except it's not. Later in life that is unreasonable but around that age it's pretty common. I was lifting 4 to 5 days a week but nothing extreme. And that's 3 years.
  18. That's a terrible argument. In high school, I was 135lbs at 6' as a sophomore. By my senior year, I was 215lbs and pretty muscular. I didn't do a diet regimen, but I did start lifting some, not any extreme amount. Also, Watt was a TE in high school and at CMU. He transferred to Wisconsin and moved to the DLine, which is asking for a different body type. I'm not saying steroid use is impossible in the NFL, but you can't make the statement that it's rampant and then literally have no evidence back it up other than to say it's well known.
  19. You have any evidence of this at all? Claiming the NFL, who has a pretty strict testing policy, loves PED users? And also hinting that Watt uses PEDs?
  20. The thing is, Watt has to agree to the contract as well. I know it happens to a lot of guys already under contract, but I don't think ribs of guys at the tail end of their careers are going to sign up for deals that make them very easily cuttable.
  21. What does that mean, "directly related?" An actual relative? A friend? I'm going on everything I've seen firsthand. Games. Training camp. Even hearing John Dorsey, the same dude who was a big part of drafting Mahomes, say a big thing they loved about Mayfield was how much his teammates loved and gravitated to him. Players don't typically love players who don't care about the team.
  22. What in that says "me first?" He should have kept his mouth shut in regards to Johnson himself, but his entire comment was about the team and wanting players who buy in. I think that's pretty normal.
  23. No one but Rudolph, Garrett and the NFL know what was said. Weird that the audio was lost for that play only. Garrett was beyond dumb with the helmet, but his off the field work speaks for itself. OBJ has a bad rap, some of it deserved, but just saying most "me first" players aren't great teammates. OBJs teammates love him. Also, who said a word about Allen. Mayfield is a great teammate. All the way around. He celebrates just as much when his teammates score or make big plays as he does when he makes the play. What makes him a bad teammate? Allen is a better QB as of today. That's got nothing to do with Mayfield being a "me first" player as you claim. What makes you say that? And how is Mayfield different than Allen as a teammate?
  24. It's amazing that you know OBJ and Mayfield are "me first." OBJ has that rep, but from the media only. His teammates love him. And Mayfield is the furthest from me first that there is. Watch his reactions when his teammates score. Garrett had 1 issue, albeit a major one, but his entire history has been of a great guy and teammate.
  25. Right, prevent defense shouldn't let them back in the game but it typically does make it a lot closer. That's why I hate it. When you have momentum like that it is very hard to turn it off and then turn it back on when you need to.
