The Browns big mistake last year was hiring Kitchens. We'll see about Stefanski, but he seems to be much more organized.
The Bills did well hiring McDermott. The guys running the Browns FO now wanted him rather than Hue Jackson years ago, do I honestly think they'll run similar programs. It's just funny when people act like the Bills are perennial SB contenders.
The Bills have been 1 and done twice in 3 years, and 3 years ago they had to back in on a Bengals prayer game. Congrats. Cleveland beat Buffalo last year. Either way, neither team has done anything impressive for years.
Diggs has been traded as times as OBJ. Diggs was fined $200,000 for missed meetings and causing problems last year.
It's funny how people convince themselves their guy is a better guy just because, despite evidence that says otherwise.
The touchback call I think was just common sense. He obviously gave himself up in the endzone, so it's a touchback.
The delay of game is hard to tell. The broadcast didn't always show the right numbers. By the picture it was, but there's no way to tell if it actually was a penalty.
The "helmet to helmet" wasn't a penalty. To me that's not even close.
I do think the crack back penalty was a bit excessive for what happened.
Cooks had 580 yards last year and has an extensive concussion history. This trade isn't as bad as the Hopkins trade, but it's still bad. And they wouldn't have needed to do it if he hadn't traded Hopkins. They're chasing their tail and getting significantly worse.
Much better huh? Cleveland beat Buffalo last year in case you forgot. Freddie Kitchens was garbage. He called plays during the games that weren't practiced all week. He was clueless.
Buffalo did have a better year last year but to say that they're much better is a bit of a reach.
The cores are similar too. Drafted QB, RB, CB1, olines are mixtures, WRs are almost entirely "acquired" players, dlines are mixtures, lbs are similar. Again, most teams are.
Garrett didn't make the claim until he met with the NFL. He claimed he thought the meeting would be confidential. It was after it went public that he talked about it. And the whole "audio malfunction" is fishy as can be.
