  1. The dude has the 2nd highest passer rating in NFL history. If you don't like him for the off the field stuff, that's perfectly reasonable. I get that, I'm not thrilled with the trade either. But quit acting like he is some mediocre QB. You have no idea what his work habits are.
  2. Too many QB needy teams.
  3. Just saw that at least the first year, Watson will only cist $10m against the cap, actually saving $8.5m vs Mayfield this year, so they should still have money for some more help.
  4. Gotta play Cincy I believe.
  5. I mean, Cleveland beat the pants off Cincy in the only game they played that mattered last year. The issue the entire year was QB play, and I like Mayfield. I don't love the trade. Wouldn't even say I like the trade, but don't act like Baltimore and Cincy are insurmountable. Not even close.
  6. To be fair, the guys wouldn't vote for him due to his stance on Covid, which isn't football related at all. That's kind of messed up.
  7. Green Bay offered Adams the same contract. He just wanted out
  8. To be fair, Herbert is on his rookie deal, so the Chargers CAN do more to help him. There is a $9m difference in cap hit this year, and a whopping $31m difference. They have a lot more flexibility to support him.
  9. No. They saved $9m this year, but it will add $3m in dead cap the next 2 years I believe.
  10. That's not true at all. The big rumor leading up to the draft was Allen. Just whether or not Dorsey would pull the trigger on a raw QB. The Mayfield rumor came out like a day or 2 ahead of the draft. There was a ton of Allen talk during and in the weeks after the combine.
  11. At this point, that's what I'm hoping for. Then get Matt Ryan to Cleveland for a couple years while grooming a young QB. Watson scares me with the baggage and potential suspension. And hopefully deal Mayfield to Seattle since they alienated him.
  12. I think there are plenty that would if you go back a year and not all the off the field stuff comes into play. Obviously given the last year then I agree with you that no one would take Watson over Allen. And as a Browns fan I'm not sure I want to make the trade for Watson just simply given what it will take to get him. Especially since there's still a decent chance he gets suspended for part of this year or next.
  13. Now it's reported 4 years, $84 million for Kirk. That's insane.
  14. That happens a lot. Diggs screamed at, ironically, Kevin Stefanski on the sidelines the last year he was there. And he complained almost that entire year. Diggs seems to be a good dude. But it's always funny to see how hypocritical people are when it comes to guys on their team.
  15. I just mean, don't criticize one guy while declaring your guy a "leader" and talking him up when he literally did the exact same thing. Diggs in Minnesota was worse than anything Cooper did in Dallas. Diggs point blank said he was a bad teammate in Minnesota.
  16. If it's "your" guy, it's fine. Just admit it.
  17. I'd bet almost anything they restructure Cooper too, so I really doubt it'll be a $20 million hit this year.
  18. Diggs did the exact same thing in Minnesota though. Complained about his QB. Was disgruntled.
  19. Yeah, for 1 more year. And once the FA TE's start signing, I bet it's not quite as "crazy" then. But Cleveland runs 2 TE sets more than any team in the league. Dude, they gave up a 5th, and have no baggage on the contract. They could literally cut him the day after the league year and be out $0. Dallas absorbs all the guaranteed money. And Landry is allowed to seek a trade, but they were also discussing him being back at a reduced salary. I love Landry, but he isn't worth $15 million a year. Plus, he is 100% a possession receiver. Cooper isn't.
  20. Njoku said he wanted to return. And he improved his blocking a lot last year, so he'll play a lot more I'd bet. Blocking has always been his issue.
  21. Yeah, convert let's say $15 million into a bonus and you can spread it out over the 3 years left. Gives you $10 million right away.
  22. Landry will be gone, or small chance of big restructure, and they'll probably restructure a few others to free up some more.
  23. Nothing to do with a "word marathon." You have your opinions about the timing. I feel it's just as likely that Putin got away with a lot leading up to this because Trump was practically licking his boots his entire presidency and ignoring everything he was doing. He ignored our own intelligence agencies reporting bounties on our soldiers and trusted Putin instead. Either way, Putin has been preparing for this a lot longer than 15 months. You don't have 200,000 troops and war vehicles at the ready just because. And its was ignored entirely but the US, and Europe.
  24. To be fair, Trump plays whatever side of people he benefits the most from. He was buddy buddy with Putin while President, and now he says he would stand strong against Putin. It's all a crock. Putin was building up his military. Just so happens that Biden was President once he felt strong enough to attack. But it's looking like Putin misjudged Ukraine. But Trump being gone had nothing to do with it either way.
  25. I'm not pretending anything. Just no way to know what would happen. I'm not Trump fan by any means.
