I think the Super Bowl showed us that press man coverage is better than elite pass rush. Mahomes was getting the ball out in less than 2.5 sec vs Bills. So he beat the pass rush with his quick throws against Bills zone. Eagles pressed KC WR so Mahomes had no one to throw to at 2.5 sec. Allowing Eagles rush to take him at 3+ sec. Even though I think Carter is better than Parsons — more explosive, better short area quickness—Take the elite man press CB.

I was listening to a couple Bills podcasts over the wknd. many podcasters and fans seem to think we should package a bunch of picks to move up in the top 5, because we need a “difference maker” on defense. off the top of my head, most impactful defense players are Chris Jones, TJ Watt, Maxx Crosby, and Miles Garrett. Watt was late 1, Jones was 2, and Crosby was 3. I don’t think you need to get into the top 5 for a difference maker. Given the draft selection is inherently imperfect with today’s technology, I think it’s smarter to take multiple picks in rounds 2 and 3.

.?? I would guess that half, or at least one third of 2025 actual first round picks were viewed as 3rd round or lesser picks prior to the season.

My memory is a bit hazy, it I’m pretty sure a MLB team sent a little person up to bat as a pinch hitter. Pitcher couldn’t find his strike zone and he walked. but after that it was ruled illegal; something about a MLB clause and “travesty of the game”

KJ Winston will be a 10 yr starter in the NFL. He’d be my pick. 6’2” Ran a 4.38 40 prior to ACL in September. 6 mos later he ran a 4.50 at PSU pro day. Had zero missed tackles in 2023 Hes projected as a late second because he missed all but one game in 2023 after ACL injury. Right now, Bills have three very average safeties, and Bishop, who is still learning. Even though safety isn’t a desperate need, I’d consider him if available at end of 2.

I think you have it reversed. He came in at 310 lbs, now has lost weight and is 267 lbs. Sorta like Lorenzo Alexander.

Actually, I have an issue with lineman pushing or assisting RB. This was illegal until a few years back. Even though Dion Dawkins is pretty good at this, I like the old rule better. As others have mentioned, if I wanted to watch a rugby scrum, I’d watch a rugby match.

I’ll say the 2021 13 sec team. Also, as opposed to this years Eagles, who I think would have beat the Bills, the 2021 Rams were very beatable. Ddnt Bills easily beat Rams to kick off 2022 season?

Chris Godwins skill set is similar to Coleman’s, just better. When he was young and healthy. If he still has the juice, he’d be a great signing.

Eagles DL and DBs were terrific. They deserve the credit for this win. But they had an advantage no other team playing the Chiefs had this year. Honest officiating. When is the last time Mahomes has had 40 dropbacks and zero roughing, zero defense holding and zero DPI calls? Im pretty sure that all the noise this week affected the officials. Or they were told to only make thise calls if it was egregious and they were absolutely sure it was a foul.

Worthy had 638 yds on 98 targets. Coleman had 556 yds on 57 targets.

No roughing? Guess the refs have been listening to sports talk rafio hope this is the end of the Mahomes golden penalty calls.

Dude coming out this year is Abdul Carter. He’s very good. Better than Parsons.
